Okay, I've gone out with maybe 20 guys in the past two years that have been older than me. Six or seven of them have proposed to me wanting to marry me. They have given up a lot just to be with me. They've told their family about how old I am, and their friends have lost all respect in that.

It's up to you. It's your decision. Whether you're 14 and have a history of abuse or whether you're 100 and have no abuse, you have to make the decision not to go down this path. So, you didn't develop an adequate sense of yourself, so your whole sense of worth comes now from helping other people and what's inside you is actually rather empty. Until you develop a clearer, fuller sense of yourself and ability to regulate your own affect and have more competency of self, you're not going to go out there and attract and or know what's attractive to you. It's a mess.
