1:38🔗VoiceoverListener discretion is advised. Adam Carolla and Dr. Drew. Loveline, Coast to Coast.
1:49🔗AdamYeah, we're back. It's Loveline. Where's Mr. Carolla, Adam Carolla?
1:53🔗DrewHe's not here. He's in Toronto, I believe. And again, another breath of fresh air. Stryker is back to join me.
1:59🔗VoiceoverBack in here with Dr. Drew, Board Certified Physician, Addiction Medicine Specialist, I Would Be Stryker, 1-800-LOVE-191. And we got a guest tonight, no ordinary guests, Coolio.
2:08🔗CoolioSo what you trying to say, man? You know what I'm saying, a breath of fresh air.
2:11🔗DrewHe is. That's compared to Adam. You know what Adam's like. He's very negative and very... He pissed off all the time.
2:16🔗CoolioNo, he's anal. Oh, really? He's anal. But anal's cool, though, because, you know, somebody got to be anal, you know, as long as it ain't me.
3:28🔗DrewAugust is almost over. That's what I heard, too.
3:30🔗CoolioWell, maybe they're airing it in September. It's called the Prism Awards. I thought they were airing it on MTV. I don't really know. I just came from the Source Awards, though.
3:39🔗AdamI heard there was a huge ruckus. Eminem got some awards. Snoop went up there, and then what happened?
3:44🔗CoolioYeah. They gave out three awards. Best video, best new artist, which was Eve. Then they did a Lifetime Achievement Award with Dr. Drew and Ice Cube, and then all hell broke loose. Full start. I don't even know. I went outside to holla at the people. You know, I always go outside and talk to the people outside. I went out there and signed some autographs for one night. I saw, behind me, everybody's running out the door. You know, in LA, when you see people running, it's usually gunshots. But I didn't hear any. You know what I'm saying? So I was kind of tripping. People running from a fight. I mean, personally, I think when people fight at a function like that, that all the people there that pay their money should just jump on them and whoop their ass, and then, you know what I'm saying, and then the fight's over.
4:38🔗AdamThis thing's supposed to be televised in a week, and they're only going to have half a show on stage.
4:45🔗AdamOh, it went crazy. I heard just everyone just rushed the stage. Artists fighting, bodyguards, people just in the crowd.
4:50🔗CoolioBut I tell you what, it won't be like that at D-Day, baby.
4:52🔗AdamHell no. What is D-Day? That's the big car show.
4:55🔗CoolioThat's the big car show. It's on Sunday, and we're going to have everybody in the house. We're going to have a mixture. It's going to be some rock people in there. It's going to be some celebrities.
5:03🔗AdamFar side in the house. Lit's also going to play.
5:05🔗CoolioOh, yeah. And some surprise guests. I can't say the name, but some surprise.
5:21🔗AdamAll right, let's talk about sex and bosoms and wieners and stuff on Loveline, Stryker, Coolio, Dr. Drew and Tina, you're 21 on Loveline. What's up?
5:29🔗CallerYeah, I had a question. How do you know if you've had an orgasm?
5:36🔗AdamIf your eyes roll to the back of your head and your toes curl up.
5:41🔗CallerNo, I mean, because I've had a pretty active sex life and I'd always thought that I had had one or whatever and that I've had pretty intense sexual experiences but my last boyfriend, even before we had sex, just like when we were doing foreplay, like I had some really intense sexual feelings, like everything, really even more sensitive than it's ever been before and I couldn't even let him finish because it was like I thought I was just going to like the pain was like it was kind of painful because it was so intense.
6:21🔗CallerNo, I'm not even sure if I've had one before because I couldn't go through with it. I felt like I thought I might urinate on myself or it felt so intense I've never had a feeling like that before.
6:33🔗DrewThat fear of urinating or losing control is a real common fear that women have.
6:59🔗CallerWell, yeah. We're still seeing each other.
7:01🔗CoolioWell, that's a good thing. Then go have fun tonight.
7:05🔗DrewBut figure it out. You're going to have to realize that you need to stay in tune with what's going on with you and ask for certain things and make sure he's responding to you.
7:13🔗AdamTina, were there any nails scratching his back while this was going on or were you just kind of, or what?
7:20🔗CoolioHey Tina, make sure you go get my new album around December, January. It's called coolio.com. Go on the website and you maybe you can register to win a trip to Munich, Germany to see me perform with this big orchestra and whatnot.
7:33🔗AdamAnd that album actually creates orgasms every time you play it, all right Tina?
8:14🔗AdamHold on, you said that's average. Coolio just fell down in his chair because he's like 13 wrapped around the leg right now. Coolio, step up to the mic, dude. Five and a half is like this big to you, right?
8:30🔗CoolioOkay, well, do it more. Get a penis pump, you know. No, I'm just kidding. You know what, man, it's not about the length, man. It's about how you work it. You know what I'm saying? If you are with a woman or something and she has a problem with the length of your penis, then therefore you will learn how to do other things as well. Not only learn how to do other things, but learn how to use the five inches that you have to the maximum potential. Experiment, do wild things, do other things, make the women forget about the size of your penis, and just be the man, dog. Concentrate, it's all mental. Don't even think about the size of your penis, just think about how big your penis is.
9:14🔗DrewIn my experience, guys that have a lot of confidence and esteem in what they're doing in life, do not worry about the length of their penis.
9:22🔗AdamExactly. As Coolio said, get good at other things like going below the equator and using your tongue if your penis isn't doing the job. By the way, as Dr. Drew said, first of all, my penis is not five and a half, it's two and a half, but five and a half, I think can get the job done, not that I felt it.
9:36🔗CoolioI read in this book that four inches is enough to give almost any woman an orgasm unless she's like a porno star or something, they probably need like 14 and a half.
9:46🔗AdamActually they don't. I'll tell you about this one. Hey, Kristen.
10:04🔗CallerYeah. Well, my boyfriend now wants me to have threesome with his ex-girlfriend. And me and her are like best friends and everything. I think we've been talking about it.
10:14🔗CoolioHow come you're with your best friend's boyfriend?
10:20🔗CoolioI figured. That's always a long story when you're doing something that's not right. First of all, you shouldn't be with your best friend's boyfriend. But since you are.
10:42🔗CoolioYou shouldn't even be having sex at all. You shouldn't be having sex until you're at least 18. You know what I'm saying? Are you having sex now? Are you sexually active?
10:53🔗CoolioOkay. Well, always, always, always use a condom. I guess, I can't tell you what to do. But if you think about what you're doing, and think about how it's going to make you feel afterwards, not only that, they have these things that you can use now if you end up having this threesome. Just make sure you protect yourself all the way around. Protect your mouth, protect your vagina, everything.
11:16🔗CallerThe problem is that I'm liking her more.
11:20🔗AdamWait, hold on a minute. Have you liked a girl before? Hold on. You're dating this guy who used to date your best friend, right?
11:31🔗DrewFirst of all, Coolio has a daughter, right? Yeah, I do. Coolio's talent in some games is good advice. At 16, 17, the brain is actually still developing, and the kinds of feelings that are evoked by this kind of closeness can be difficult to manage. But now that Coolio has a daughter, we'll call him Pops Coolio from now on, because he's sounding like one of those old guys. He's sounding like me. But Kristen, come on, you're pulling our leg. Either that or you've got a long history of screwed up relationships.
12:24🔗Drew19 year old at 11. And this is somebody I would predict probably was sort of physically abused when she was a kid. Your parents struck you, that kind of thing?
12:41🔗DrewAnd then she's sexually abused. And then her sexuality becomes sort of a way of expressing all kinds of abnormal feelings.
12:46🔗CoolioDid you go to school for this? No, I'm just kidding.
12:48🔗AdamHe's been doing this thing for 15 years.
12:49🔗DrewSo, Kristen, cool out. If you like, decide what you are. Don't go experimenting about what you are. Figure out what you are. Get a stable relationship and stay with that.
12:58🔗AdamShe's 16 years old. The guy is gonna try to get you to do anything. And if you start having feelings for the girl, just read anything. Hey, hey, for real, for real.
13:05🔗CoolioDon't listen to guys, cause they want you to do what they want you to do.
13:40🔗CallerBut I know it's kind of a, or at least it was a sensitive topic, was the whole weird owl asking for your blessing on Gangsta's Paradise?
13:50🔗CoolioOh, well, you know, that was one of those...
13:52🔗CallerMy question actually is though, I don't really understand how you were really involved because it was really Stevie Wonder that wrote the song.
14:00🔗CoolioWell, actually, it wasn't Stevie Wonder that wrote the song. Stevie Wonder wrote a song called Pastime Paradise. LV reworked the hook. A guy named Doug Rasheed reworked the music and I wrote whole new lyrics for it, so it became an entirely different song. But the thing about it is, it's like, you know, you have a car and you like your car.
14:41🔗CallerI understand and appreciate that part of it. I guess I just didn't understand that it was different enough that Stevie Wonder wasn't involved in it. Because I mean, I guess, because he changed the words and his words really weren't like yours and yours weren't really like Stevie's.
14:54🔗CoolioSo well, listen to this. He made, he kind of made fun of a song that meant a lot to me and it meant a lot to a lot of other people. But hey, he sold a lot of records with that song.
15:04🔗AdamWell, let's hold it real quick, Coolio. But either way, Weird Al made a song called Amish Paradise using the same music. We've been here in Amish Paradise.
15:18🔗CoolioYeah, that's, that's, that's a, that's a old subject, you know. Basically, I don't even think about that anymore. I don't care, you know, much peace to Weird Al's family, you know, Weird Al just, you know, next time be a little bit more respectful of a brother because, you know, you know how he is, you know what I'm saying. You don't want me to trip on you or nothing. So, you know, just, it's all about respect for me. If I say no, okay, then no. Don't ask me, I mean, I would have felt better about it if he had just done it and not asked me. But if you ask me and I say no, and you do it anyway, that's like slapping me in the face. You know what I'm saying? And that was my whole problem when it was a respect thing.
15:53🔗AdamWhy did Weird Al look so sincere when I saw the VH1 special? Like, he didn't really know that you had said no because his people were dealing with your people.
16:00🔗CoolioYou know what? And it's quite possible that he didn't.
16:14🔗CoolioHe was afraid to talk to me. He thought I was going to get ghetto with him and shake him up or, you know, break his jaw or something. So, you know, he wouldn't speak to me.
16:22🔗CoolioNo, I mean, he could have said, you know, man, look, I didn't know. He could have said anything, but it's cool. I'm not mad at Weird Al, man. Weird Al, much peace to you, man, much peace to your family. And I'm over it now. I was upset at the time, you know, now I'm on the bigger and better things. Life goes on.
16:37🔗AdamCool. And we're going to move on also. So Weird Al, when you see Coolio, say what's up. He ain't going to trip on the ass.
16:41🔗CoolioAll right, Laurie. Just give me like a hundred dollars or something.
17:05🔗CoolioWell, at least he was, you know, a kid still.
17:07🔗And we had been dating prior before that, but we broke up and we were trying to work on our relationship. And we had had sex. And I was on my period and I wasn't all myself that night. I had been drinking, so I wasn't really thinking of anything.
18:12🔗DrewVisalia. But you find a doctor, urgent care center, anybody can get you this damn thing. You take it now. You take it again 12 hours later, and it will decrease that pregnancy risk by 70%.
18:23🔗AdamIsn't that the way you want to lose your virginity though, getting wasted at 14 and having some guy?
18:28🔗DrewThat's the way women do it. Women, it's against their instincts. So they sort of either suppress their feelings, or they're acting some other crap out, or they get loaded.
18:37🔗CoolioHey, and do this too. Are you still there?
18:40🔗CoolioHey, do this. Use a condom, man. Come on, this is nothing to it. If he don't have a condom, then he don't get none. Simple as that. Even if you're getting ready, you're right there, it's on, it's finna happen. Say, do you have a condom? If he doesn't, say, okay, well, go get one.
18:54🔗AdamDefinitely. Girls, listen to this. The guy will do anything just to get some love.
18:59🔗DrewThey don't understand that. Women don't understand the power they hold.
19:02🔗CoolioAlso, remember this. Any guy that sleeps with you without a condom, if he doesn't have one, then he probably slept with somebody else without a condom.
19:36🔗AdamSo why don't we take a quick break right now? We'll come back with Coolio Stryker here for Adam Corolla and Dr. Drew 1-800-LOVE-191. More next on Loveline.
19:46🔗StrykerLoveline, we'll be right back. Call on the 1-800-LOVE-191.
20:20🔗AdamAll right, we're back. It's Loveline, 1-800-LOVE-191, Stryker for Adam Carolla, Dr. Drew, and Coolio. coolio.com, new album is Hit and Win.
20:30🔗CoolioThe new album will probably hit around December or January. I got a new single coming out sometime before the end of October. All right. Shooting a new video sometime here in the next three weeks or so, and it's going to be off the hook.
20:54🔗CoolioD-Day is Sunday. I'm going to have the Hummer out there with the monster sounds in it, and bring my truck out, bring my Suburban out, and bring the Viper out, and Shaq's going to come out with his car, Spreewell. Spreewell got some nice cars. Spreewell got 22 cars.
21:17🔗AdamI got an email about two weeks ago. All it said was Littrell Spreewell's phone number. I was like, what the hell is this? I called it. It was him.
21:33🔗AdamFieldy from Korn's picture is on here. Ice T. There's Tyson.
21:36🔗DrewHow'd you get all these guys? You give them cars?
21:38🔗CoolioNo, man. They want to see. All these guys got real nice cars. They want people to see them, but they just want to do something so everybody can get together and have some fun and kind of talk about what they're doing or whatever. It's kind of like a social thing in a way.
21:51🔗AdamSo there's going to be cars and then performances by Slick Rick, Farside, Coolio, and Ice T. In the Body Count.
22:17🔗AdamI got Saint I's and Mickey's in the back. What's up?
22:21🔗CoolioYou got to check out the new album. It's called coolio.com. I got Kenny Rogers. I got Krazy Bone. I got B-Real from Cypress Hill. With me and him, I got a song that's off the hook. I got Dabz from the Dog Pound. We got a song that's crazy. I got my young homie Spado. I got the Unniggables. That's my new group. Off the hook. We're just doing it, man. Microphone Jones and Young Ghost, Ghost Smoke. There you go. We've been working on a record for about a year, man. Just having fun.
22:53🔗CoolioOh yeah. Nice cars, man. We all got a Lamborghini.
22:58🔗AdamHe's got 20 of them. They're all black with chrome on there.
23:03🔗AdamYou're going to hang a bit, answer a few more questions at the next break, your jet? I got to go.
23:07🔗CoolioIt's almost 2.30. But I surely enjoy you guys, man. And you know, call me back. I'll be back again. I'm Coolio with the flow of the neighborhood. Get it with Dr. Superhero. Down to go toe to toe with any hank, frank, or Joe representing the. It's 2000, you know what I'm saying? It's on east side, west side, north side, south side, worldwide, little punk. I'm at house with my homeboy, Dr. Drew. You know what I'm saying? You know how we do? Lovelines. You know what I'm saying? Work your problems out, think about what you're doing. You know, don't be stupid. I got to go. See ya.
23:40🔗AdamWe're not going to break ya. I'll see you later, man. All right, have fun tonight. There he goes. Coolio's still got the hair, he's got the dope clothes. All right, Anthony.
24:15🔗She gave me a blowjob. I come to her mouth and then it was like 40 minutes after that, we ended up. We're waiting till we get married, but we screwed up and I went inside her about an inch or half an inch.
24:51🔗DrewYeah, but look, there's still stuff sitting in the urethra. And even if you urinated a couple hours later and somebody looked at your urine, you'd find sperm there. So there's a possibility, but it's remote. That's not a pretty significant exposure.
25:04🔗See, that's the thing, but she was ovulating on that day.
25:08🔗AdamYou have more because's than this is in that's, Anthony.
25:11🔗DrewHow does she know she was ovulating on that day?
25:15🔗She counted the days, you know, 13 to 15 days.
25:16🔗DrewOh, that's BS. Come on. That doesn't mean she ovulated necessarily on that day. However, sperm goes for three days. It lasts for three days up there waiting for the egg. That's why you have three days to use the morning after pill because that pill works by suppressing the egg from being released. So you should take that. People, please keep that product in your medicine cabinet.
25:37🔗AdamThe day after pill you're talking about.
25:38🔗DrewIf there's even a question of a possible exposure, take it now. Day one, 24 hours is 90% effective at preventing pregnancy. It doesn't cause abortion. It has nothing to do with abortifacients. I can't understand. RU-46 is going to be out here, I suspect, soon too. I probably will not be supporting that because that is an abortive pill. Right. There's no reason for that when you have this stuff here that suppresses ovulation in the first place.
26:01🔗AdamSo how long sperm will sit inside of the wiener until you urinate?
26:43🔗DrewDid something happen to you that made you frightened of sex?
26:47🔗When I was five, I got molested by my stepbrother once.
26:50🔗DrewWell, there you go. So it's a reenactment of that victimization. That makes perfect sense. It's interesting. Last time you were on, we were talking about this, that people get launched into various trajectories as a result of abuse. They either go on a path towards sort of hypersexuality or sexual shutdown. And she's more in the shutdown direction.
27:13🔗AdamAnd how do you feel when you're doing the other things?
27:16🔗I feel fine. Because I really want the sex. But as soon as we get ready to do it, my whole body will tense up and I'll freeze and I'll start bowing my head off.
27:25🔗DrewOkay. Well, there you go. Have you had any therapy for that post-traumatic stress reaction?
28:00🔗CallerYeah. First of all, I'd like to say what's up to all the dirty birds in Winnapark. And here's my question. It's actually, I want your guys' opinion. My penis is 11, you know.
28:36🔗DrewYeah. Okay, good. There you go. Alright. I want to hear about my hand-washing thing.
28:40🔗AdamOh, geez. You guys got to hear this. You guys have to hear this. So, I go into a K-Rock here in Los Angeles today, and I'm just moseying around, and I think it was Anne, producer Anne, handed me an email, and I just started reading it, and I was like, wow. This guy, here's what happened, Dr. Drew, we'll discuss it briefly. Dr. Drew works in a regular doctor's office. Some guy who lives in LA went to his dentist, and then he saw right across the hall, oh my God, that's Dr. Drew's doctor's office. How cool. So the guy gets his teeth cleaned, he goes in to the bathroom. As the guy, I guess maybe is peeing or something, Dr. Drew walks in, this guy, a little starstruck, it's Dr. Drew of course. So the guy's done peeing, Dr. Drew's doing his thing, and while Dr. Drew is peeing, this guy's like messing with his teeth that just got cleaned.
29:25🔗AdamRight, okay, but here's the kicker. Dr. Drew, aka, doctor, waltzes right out of the bathroom without washing his hands. Full speed, full speed. And this guy that emailed, disgusted by him.
29:38🔗DrewYou know what's funny is I had, what's truly bizarre about it is that I had this internal dialogue with myself and I thought, wouldn't that look weird to that guy that I just stormed out of here with that? Because I was not going back to patient care. I was going to Dr. drew.com.
29:51🔗DrewNo, it's true. I swear to God, I had this whole dialogue with myself and I thought, man, if that guy knew who I was, he could just make a big deal about this. Here it is, here it is. Here it is, the one guy that sees you and I knew where I was going. It was not to be touching any of the people or anything and I was actually going to go be using a bathroom at another site because I knew I was drinking a coke and whatnot, I'd be undoubtedly.
30:09🔗AdamYou are backtracking so bad right now. This is the dialogue.
30:12🔗DrewThe backtracking though was that moment in my head going, you should go back and wash your hands. No, God damn it, I'm going to do it later. Let's not worry about it. And I thought, what would the guy think? If he knew I was a doctor, he'd just freak out.
30:22🔗AdamSo the reason you didn't wash your hands was because he was like hogging the sink area?
30:25🔗DrewHe was at the sink and I was in a big hurry and at the last screw I was just getting out of here.
31:31🔗CallerI quit, okay? My mom sent me to drug counseling and all. And I quit. I've done it- since I got out of drug counseling, I've done it twice. And that was about six months ago.
31:43🔗DrewSo you're not even in recovery right now.
31:58🔗DrewYou're wasting your time, Amy. No sponsor, no treatment. You're just treading water. You're not going to make the kind of change you need to make to stay sober. It's an internal process that you make with another person. And that's why you're focusing on your mom. You're going to fix her as opposed to doing the tough work of dealing with your own issues.
32:15🔗CallerWell, see, it's like, I mean, I don't really think I was addicted to it. There was only weed I went there for.
32:31🔗DrewAnd the way it works is somebody with a family history of some sort of addiction, usually alcoholism, smokes pot a couple of times, and then usually around the third time, pow, this stuff is just, oh my god, I love this stuff.
32:43🔗DrewAnd you would think about using it every day thereafter. And most days you'll use it, and that's marijuana addiction, and that will go on for between one and 20 or 30 years. And as time goes on, it will become less effective, you'll start to get more depressed, more forgetful, more irritable, you start smoking more to try to compensate for that, and eventually you get real depressed.
33:23🔗DrewThis is a mess. Get a sponsor and begin talking about this with somebody who's available for you unconditionally. Not who has all kinds of weird issues with you.
33:44🔗AdamI can't believe that. The mom who's hitting the bong every night is forcing the daughter to get...
33:48🔗DrewNo surprises. It happens all the time. It happens all the time. It's alcoholic spouses who get the other spouse into treatment. He becomes the identified patient. He doesn't get it under control. You know, it's...
34:02🔗Yeah, I've been listening tonight. I listen pretty regularly, but, I mean, within, like, the past half an hour, it's like you guys have already had two guys on calling about the size of their penises.
34:14🔗They're worried about that and sex. And I don't understand why are men, like, you constantly tell them that, like, just going for the hole is not the thing. Yeah. There's so much more to the female orgasm.
34:30🔗DrewOkay, here's... There's two pieces to this. One is men really, their esteem is totally tied up in their schvanz. Why? It's... I don't understand it. There's all sorts of theories about, you know, what the symbolism and all. I think there's got to be some sort of circuitry, some sort of neurologic connection there. That just... That's the male. You put enough testosterone in the central nervous system, that's what you get. It's ridiculous, and you would think that the rational brain could sort of compensate for that ridiculousness, wouldn't you?
35:04🔗I mean, they're so worried about pleasing a woman, yet the thing they're worrying about isn't...
35:11🔗DrewAnd isn't this further evidence of the superior gender being the female? But the other thing is, the other part of this is that it's arrogant of us as males sitting here to be lecturing anybody about what women want. So now here's your chance. You tell them.
35:29🔗Go for the clitoris! Use your tongue! That's all you have to do.
35:38🔗DrewAnd wouldn't you think also that they need to be sort of gentle, available to you? Like compassionate in some way, available emotionally in some way?
35:57🔗I agree. I agree. I think every night, like Dr. Drew, you say, like, women totally have the upper hand in this. And they don't realize it. And especially young women who are out there, like, just giving it up at, like, 14, 15. Oh, it's just awful. Not using condoms, not using anything. I mean, I did that, too. It was so stupid.
36:18🔗DrewYou have to numb yourself up to do it, too, don't you?
36:21🔗DrewYou have to literally sub, you have to just swallow your feelings in some way. And the disempowerment of the American female, and I mean the interpersonal disempowerment, I think is one of the greatest problems out there today.
36:32🔗I totally agree with you. I mean, it's just ridiculous.
36:35🔗AdamKristen, what's your story right now? Are you married or have a boyfriend or what?
36:48🔗AdamSo it seems, are you super picky because you seem like, why do all the men only want to talk about their wiener?
36:54🔗CallerNo, I'm not super picky. I'm just at this point, I guess now I am. I mean, I'm just smart enough to know what I want and I haven't found it.
37:05🔗AdamWell, you want the clitoris touched and licked.
37:09🔗AdamWell, God bless you. We're here in West LA. I think. Okay. Bye, Kristen.
37:18🔗AdamDrew has given me the evil eye. We're going to talk to Chris here in a second. He has a crush on a girl, but she has a boyfriend. What the hell is he going to do? We'll find out next on Loveline. All right, Stryker here. It's Loveline with Dr. Drew, 1-800-LOVE-191. Adam is going to be gone for a couple of days.
38:09🔗DrewYeah. We've got SR-71, Cindy Margolis coming in here.
38:12🔗AdamI got to thank that guy for leaving because we had the hottest trick ever in last week. What's her name again? Victoria Silvestate, who showed me the boobs. What happened? My headphones went off for a second.
38:22🔗DrewYeah, that's the good equipment we have here. Yeah, I saw you just climbing over the console here. I thought we're going to lose you that night.
38:28🔗AdamAnd then we got Cindy Margolis coming in in two days, and tomorrow the band SR-71, they sing the song right now, like Blink-182 Jr. So that should be cool.
38:36🔗DrewHave they been up here before, SR-71? No.
38:38🔗AdamNo, no, they're a fairly new band from Maryland or something. And you guys are going to have to deal with my ass for the next two days.
38:45🔗AdamBut actually I'm going to get a show because of this called the X-Man Show. I'm copying the Man Show and the X Show. And we're going to have monkeys mostly though, jumping around.
38:54🔗DrewChimpanzees. Chimpanzees with voice over chimpanzees.
39:18🔗Alright. Okay. Alright. There's this girl. I met her when I first got to high school. And since I've gotten to know her, I've sort of gotten to realize that she's like a perfect personality fit, you know, everything about her.
39:32🔗Okay. Alright. Now. Okay. The 4th of July, I was at a party of hers. And she had a boyfriend. She met him at this trip she went to. And I guess they were pretty into it. But like after he left, like before, I had to leave. And so me and her just sort of got to talking. And she sort of admitted that she had like a crush on me when she first met me. And there's a sort of like hand-degenerable contact somewhere along the line.
40:28🔗DrewReally, either she's not into that guy or she's messed up. You don't want to be in a relationship with somebody that's going to be cheating like that on you too, or she's just really not into this guy, or the guy is just frankly not good to her. She's really looking for an excuse to sabotage.
40:40🔗My question is, should I wait until their relationship ends and then maybe if you want to try it?
40:46🔗DrewI generally believe that you make your intentions very clear and then back away and then say, I am here, I'm interested.
41:10🔗AdamTell her when you're not high and not drinking coarsely.
41:12🔗I know, but I told her at another time though that I thought she was sort of like my soulmate.
41:16🔗DrewYeah, that's fine. That doesn't mean anything. You tell her, here's what I want from you. I'm available. If you didn't have a boyfriend, I'd be all over this. So as soon as you break up, you come call me.
41:27🔗AdamThis is how I'm gonna do it. You're gonna be her, okay? That's Stephanie. I just want to tell you, you're going out with this guy. I want to be the one going out with you. I like you, this, this, this, this, this, this, bam. Walk away, see what she does, right?
41:37🔗DrewChris, the particular, this, this, this, this, this bam part.
41:41🔗AdamI like you, I feel close to you, I want to hold your hand and touch your privates again.
41:45🔗DrewNo, it just has to be, it just has to be, look, I am really attracted to you, I want to date you.
41:51🔗DrewBut I'm just saying, but real clear, just real short, and I'm not gonna do this when you have a boyfriend, but the second that there's any, that relationship ends, you call me.
41:59🔗AdamAnd if she doesn't come crawling to you, don't wait around, find somebody else, Chris, right? And Tony, 17, on Loveline.
42:06🔗Yes, I have a question about my stepdad, and he, lately, he's been hiding tape recorders around my house, and trying to tape me and my other brothers, like he's already had a tape recorder hooked onto the phone, and he taped like a month worth of phone calls, and trying to, I guess he's trying to get me in trouble, and like...
43:02🔗No, no, I haven't told him, it was underneath my couch, and I found it, and like, I was listening to it, and I had, like, conversation with all my friends, and other stuff like that, like, luckily I wasn't talking anything about my personal life, but you know.
43:17🔗DrewWhy don't, you gotta talk about it, it really is a, it's not a great way to manage somebody your age, it's disrespectful, it's just a, it's not a good idea. If you had somebody that you really strongly believe was doing, potentially harming themselves or other people and you needed confirmation so you can swoop in and intervene, that's almost an indication for something like this. I mean, as a desperation measure, but it's some sort of surveillance, it's very disrespectful, it's very inappropriate, and it's not a healthy situation, you gotta talk to your mom about it. And you need to be very clear with him about how it makes you feel. It's invalidating, it's disrespectful, especially since you have no reason to incite that sort of distrust.
43:59🔗AdamI would normally talk to your mom, Tony. I would make the phoniest fake phone call as possible, set it up with the friend, and just start talking about your stepdad in either the most positive way in the history of mankind. We are throwing the biggest surprise party for my stepdad next Friday. We're gonna have strippers there, we're gonna have everyone there, and of course nothing's gonna happen. When he's gonna hear it, it'll be like that some episode of some TV show. Then he'll get in a lot of trouble.
44:25🔗DrewOr you could sort of set up some sort of meeting that he has to, you know, that he's gonna come and bust, and then bust him.
44:45🔗Like I don't like the way I look and stuff. And they were like telling me that they think I should finger myself to get more confident.
44:53🔗AdamThe guy said this, right? Yeah, of course.
44:55🔗DrewThis is more evidence of just what Neanderthals men are. Basically, they're trying to get some material together for themselves when they're alone.
45:23🔗No, I did. I tried it for a weekend like last year.
45:27🔗DrewYeah, so that means that somewhere along the way, you didn't get the right support you needed in order to develop a good sense of yourself. Yeah, I was really... People oftentimes like you are some of the most attractive people that there are, but still feel there's something wrong with them.
45:41🔗Last year, I was really depressed when I broke up with one of my boyfriends, and I took it really, really hard. And I think that might be something to do with it, I don't know, though.
45:50🔗AdamWell, if you're good enough to have a boyfriend, I mean, come on now.
46:17🔗DrewBut Emily, more importantly, you need some time by yourself so you can gain some confidence rather than be focused on another person and a relationship.
46:26🔗DrewBut the point is the relationships become life preservers or hostages as a way of trying to bolster your esteem. Being alone and just figuring out what you like in people, who you are in relationships, good friends, what you need to do for yourself in terms of extracurricular activities, what your interests are at schools. Those are all real things that are parts of yourself that you need to develop. And if you pay attention to that stuff, you'll slowly build confidence. And the choices you'll make in relationships will be superior, you're better.
46:56🔗DrewIt's not fun necessarily, but you'll pay dividends later.
46:59🔗AdamHow come teens think three months is like an eternity?
47:03🔗DrewIf she's only been alive 15 years. That's like 1 45th of her life.
47:07🔗AdamOkay, right. All right, where are we going here?
47:09🔗DrewTime goes faster. I think the biology of the brain is such that, man, as you get older, time just goes faster and faster. My patients in their 70s and 80s complain that it just goes so fast.
47:30🔗AdamAll right, we're gonna take a break. Joe, hold on one sec. Your parents spank you a lot. Hopefully it's not in the front, but in the rear. We'll find out what's up with Joe next on Loveline.
47:38🔗StrykerLoveline, Loveline, 1-800-LOVE-191. Um, back in a minute.
48:23🔗AdamAll right, Drew, I gave you one week to figure it out. When we heard that little piece of music last week, I said, all the teaching, all the hatin in the world today, all the little girls.
48:38🔗AdamI'm still not going to tell you that. All right. Stryker here for Adam Corolla on Loveline with Dr. Drew. You just went to the bathroom and you did not wash your hands. I followed you back there.
48:48🔗DrewI followed you back there and you didn't wash your hands.
48:52🔗AdamYou're going to touch me when you leave most likely.
48:55🔗DrewThen I'll wash my hands probably. I hope.
49:12🔗DrewYou know what? There's much, much, much more problem with me wiping my nose and shaking your hand. But that's where my staff lives, all sorts of things. Okay.
50:09🔗CallerAnyway, I just like, my parents, like, spank me a lot. They're not abusive, but because I do stuff, but they don't do it for no reason, but they do it, and I have, like, I want to know, is that, like, why I'm so antisocial now? I mean, I can't make friends.
50:19🔗DrewAbsolutely. Really? Absolutely. Listen, there's no such thing as, there's no such thing. It's very unusual for parents just to just to beat on kids for no reason. It's always a quote because they deserve it. That is how you create an antisocial person, is you physically abuse them for whatever reason.
50:35🔗CallerI heard you say this last week and I just was making sure. So I told my parents this and they just like told me it was disrespectful and smacked me again.
50:44🔗DrewThe next thing you do is you call Child Protective Services.
50:47🔗CallerWell, if I did that then I wouldn't have anywhere to go.
50:50🔗DrewYeah, but listen, they wouldn't necessarily take you out of the home, but they would put your parents on notice on just how inappropriate this behavior is and how damaging it is to you.
50:59🔗AdamNow, is he at an age where it will affect him in the future? Well, it's affecting him right now. It already is, I mean, being on social, but...
51:05🔗DrewYeah, and then you're going to be pierced up and have lots of tattoos and things.
51:10🔗AdamWell, maybe he already is because he said, Joe, what kind of things do you do that make your parents smack you around?
51:18🔗CallerI talk during class and stuff, and I sleep during class.
51:22🔗AdamAnd so your teachers call home and they hear this and then your parents get all fired up?
51:25🔗DrewIt's interesting, you look at data on kids being spanked. If kids are spanked, the behavior that they're spanked for stops at that moment, but there's two weeks at least of antisocial behavior that comes out in response to that. Two weeks of acting out in response to getting one behavior to stop. Can cause two weeks of truancy and talking back and this sort of thing.
51:49🔗AdamSo Joe needs to, if this goes on, he needs to call who?
51:53🔗DrewI'm going to give you a child abuse hotline, 1-800-5404000.
51:59🔗DrewChild Help, I'm going to give you both these numbers again, Child Help USA, 800-422-4453, that's 1-800-4-8-CHILD and that's 422-4453 and 800-540-4000.
52:11🔗AdamSo is spanking out of the question these days? I don't think parents know that. I mean, I wouldn't know that if I didn't.
52:17🔗DrewPeople have really weird, they defend the need to do it because it was done to them and their parents of course were idealizing great for having done it and they deserved it but the data is overwhelmingly clear that it harms kids to do that. To be rough physically with a child is appropriate in the moment if they are going to harm themselves as a result of the behavior, you must have that behavior stop in that moment but there will be a price for even doing that. Got it. Behavior management is very clear, you reward good behavior, withdraw positives for inappropriate behavior.
52:49🔗AdamStop smacking your kids around. Ivana, 16.
53:08🔗AdamMost 16-year-old girls can't have an orgasm at all, even when they sleep.
53:14🔗CoolioBut it's weird because like in my dream, I mean, I'm not saying, you know, black men aren't attractive, I'm just not attracted to them and it was weird because at first, it was a black man and then all of a sudden, like once I got the orgasm started, it turned into a white man that I didn't even know.
53:41🔗DrewI don't really get what she's getting at. She just freaked out about her dreams in general.
53:45🔗AdamAt 16, I don't know how many you should be having anyways.
53:47🔗DrewYeah, but at 16, remember how all your feelings are scary and dangerous.
53:52🔗AdamDavey, you're 30 on Loveline. What's up?
53:55🔗CallerWell, I'm kind of wondering if I'm addicted to pornography. It's been a while since I've made love with a woman. So right when that started, I kind of started looking at stuff. And now it's kind of more and more often. And it's starting to affect the way I look at women.
54:29🔗CallerWell, it's just that when I'm in a social situation where I don't, you know, there's people I don't know, I'm kind of, I don't know, focusing more on...
55:17🔗AdamSo now you think you're starting to get addicted to porn or is just starting to affect the way you're looking at these women just at their bodies?
55:24🔗CallerMaybe if I could just know what some of the like, what is it?
55:31🔗DrewAddiction is some biological predisposition for addiction, a family history of alcoholism or some addiction that you've known as addiction.
55:39🔗CallerSo I need to survey my family to see who.
55:41🔗DrewYou need to be an addict. You need to have inherited the biology of addiction. Then the use, the behavior has got to have progressive consequences in spite of a desire to stop.
55:52🔗AdamHas anything in your life been screwing?
55:54🔗CallerIt wouldn't have to necessarily be with porn. There could be alcoholism or other kinds of addiction.
55:59🔗DrewRight. But you're concerned about sexual addiction, in which case you'd expect to see effects on relationships, school or work, financial, legal or health situations, and worsening problems with time in spite of these consequences. You're not that, Dave. You're just preoccupied right now.
57:40🔗AdamListen, screwballs, at fourteen, stop getting drunk and stop having your man go down on you and vice versa. You're fourteen for crying out loud.
57:49🔗CoolioOkay. But then, is it normal to find it strange?
57:57🔗DrewDid somebody, I don't know, ask the usual questions. Is it been strange at some other time in your life?
58:06🔗CoolioMy boyfriend says that it's not normal for it to be strange.
59:39🔗AdamShe's taking the route we discussed earlier. You can just close your legs or open them I guess, right?
59:43🔗DrewWell, it's not just so much the trajectory. It's that when kids are physically abused, they get antisocial and they also carry a lot of pain with them and they're looking for solutions to that and thrill mechanisms. Is there alcoholism in your family?
59:58🔗DrewOkay. Alcoholics particularly are prone to this kind of behavior. That's sort of a very, very rewarding behavior to go out in very provocative environments and things. But that's just a way to try to distance oneself from all this pain and also to, you know, you don't trust the man anymore because the man's done you wrong. And people get involved in these sorts of situations all the time. They find other victimizers, know them, and they find those victimizers. How the hell that happens, I don't know.
1:00:22🔗AdamWhat is Jennifer supposed to do now, now that she's starting to sleep with them?
1:00:25🔗DrewNow she's, that is the trajectory issue that she's on now. You need to get help with this rape, Jennifer. You've got to begin talking, preferably, I think what would help you is a women's rape support group.
1:00:35🔗CoolioReally? Like, I can't because I'm not going to tell my mom.
1:00:38🔗DrewWell, look, you're hurting yourself and this is just the beginning. Okay, if you want help, you've got to do something to help yourself.
1:00:46🔗CoolioI know, and not only that, it's just like gotten worse. Like, I've like, I'm having sex with guys I don't really even know.
1:00:58🔗DrewMake sure you're using condoms. Please, you've got to talk about these feelings or they're going to cause behaviors. They're going to be very destructive.
1:01:05🔗AdamAll right. Jennifer? I'm sorry all that happened to you, but there's so much only Dr. Drew or myself can say. You have to just find someone to talk to and hopefully they'll straighten it out for you. You won't just go on this crash course.
1:01:17🔗DrewWomen support groups that women have been through this thing tend to be very effective for what you're dealing with. Okay?
1:01:38🔗AdamGot it. Scott, 26 on Loveline. What's going on?
1:01:41🔗CallerNot too much. How are you guys doing? Good. I have a question actually. A couple of weeks ago, I was washing my teeth, and I noticed really bad breath that I've never noticed before. And I've been trying to hide it for the past couple of weeks, but my girlfriend just noticed. And it gets kind of buggy. I'm a beginner and it's really bugging me and I'm just wondering what it might be from.
1:02:15🔗DrewYou could get one of those probably just at the pharmacy and start with that and use mouthwash, obviously. But beyond that, there are dentists that actually can sort of measure the gas production by the bacteria back there and give you special scrapers for the back of the tongue and can get this all under control. So you talked to your dentist about it.
1:02:32🔗DrewTypically. It's either a dentist thing or a stomach thing. And if you really aren't having stomach symptoms and you haven't had change in your diet and you're not belching a lot and that kind of thing, then it tends to be at the back of the tongue.
1:02:43🔗CallerThat's kind of what it seems like to me, but I'm not really sure.
1:02:46🔗AdamWell, that's why you got to go see the dentist.
1:03:40🔗AdamAre there any risks with that besides turning your teeth brown? I don't know. Dr. Drew, this is you.
1:03:45🔗DrewWell, in this country, there's not a lot of what's called oral fecal transmission of infectious disease. But internationally, there's a big issue with that. Various kinds of worms and parasites and infectious agents can go that way.
1:04:01🔗AdamAre you the receiver of the giver or vice versa?
1:04:16🔗DrewUse a shower as part of the deal. I think it's a good idea. And again, the usual STDs sort of apply. You can transmit herpes down there and you can...
1:04:27🔗CoolioOkay. But if I like, you know, if I know he's clean and all that?
1:06:10🔗CoolioWell, this is kind of completely different from your other questions that you get. Instead of having sex, I'm actually calling to say that I'm not getting any. And I don't want to have sex. I kind of just want to have a relationship right now. But I don't know. I feel like I'm kind of getting too old for it.
1:08:15🔗AdamYeah, yeah, yeah. Jane, here's my take on it. You sound, to me, I don't think you sound 11. I think you sound around 15, but maybe you're just a little nervous on the radio, but you sound like you have everything going OK for you, and just try not to be so picky, and kissing a guy will definitely come, so to speak. Forming a relationship, you're not too old for it.
1:08:36🔗DrewYeah, no, no, no. Are you going away to school?
1:08:41🔗DrewOK. If you want a good reason to not have a relationship and not to experiment sexually, doesn't listening to this show for five minutes give you plenty of reason not to?
1:08:49🔗CoolioYeah. I actually want to tell you that I've learned more from your show, Dr. Drew, than I have in all my years of high school.
1:08:54🔗DrewWow. That's huge. But listen, it should leave you feeling good about waiting and making healthy choices.
1:09:02🔗CoolioI feel really good about myself that I've waited. Yeah.
1:09:10🔗DrewThink about the choices you would make now, as opposed to the kinds of choices you might have made at 15.
1:09:17🔗CoolioIt's not like I haven't had chances, I have, but it's a little intimidating.
1:09:23🔗DrewI think you need to get away to college, establish a sense of yourself away from home, and then you'll have a little more confidence with whom you choose to be with and what you choose to do with them as you get a clearer sense of yourself separate from your family, okay?
1:09:39🔗CoolioIt was really good hearing from you. Stryker, I wanted to tell you, I listen to your show all the time. I don't know if you remember this, but I probably don't. I called one time and we played a joke on a friend of mine.
1:10:12🔗DrewJust quickly, Anne, I'm realizing just how much time Adam spends just sort of ranting about himself. We're spending up to four minutes a call, and yet we're going through about eight times as many calls as we normally do.
1:10:23🔗It's unbelievable how many people we're helping.
1:10:25🔗DrewWe're actually spending more time per call and going through three times as many calls.
1:10:31🔗AdamWhen we come back after the break, I'm going to be discussing my garage and masturbation on Loveline. Hold on. All right, we're back, Loveline, Stryker in for Adam Corolla. So I'm building my garage, and then I'm masterfully-
1:11:13🔗AdamIt's a cathedral. Yeah, I love listening to Adam on this show. I listen to you guys every night driving home. That's why some of the answers are kind of obvious just from hearing you guys give the answers quite a bit. So Adam's gonna be gone for a few days, so I'll be filling in for a bit, so please deal with me. If you don't live in LA or Tucson or Arizona, then you never heard of me. But you may have seen me in the Biscuit video, Break Stuff, MXPX video, in the TV show Jersey on Disney. Anyway, other than that, Tabitha. Hmm, what?
1:12:25🔗CoolioOkay. The thing is, I have a problem with every single time a guy breaks up with me. It's like for a year or a year and a half, I will just cling to him and I ask him back and like, it's like I'm emotionally, like really unstable.
1:12:38🔗DrewYou can't deal with the letting go, the lost part.
1:12:41🔗CoolioYeah. And like, I don't understand why because I don't have any issues with my father because I mean, he's in the house.
1:13:19🔗DrewYou don't know why he wanted to break up.
1:13:20🔗AdamWell, that's a guy's go-to line. I just want to be friends.
1:13:22🔗DrewYeah, yeah. That's the way to soften the blame.
1:13:23🔗CoolioWell, I mean like, he actually does want to stay friends with me. He like does try to talk to me, but it's just one of those things where it's like I don't want the friendship. I want the relationship.
1:13:40🔗DrewIn your family, are you sort of responsible for other people's feelings? You have to think of other people first or are they always there for you?
1:13:51🔗AdamDo you feel like when the guy lets you go that it's embarrassing for all your friends to know that my old boyfriend just wants to be friends with me in a way to show them that you're okay is to get him back?
1:14:55🔗CoolioMy mom, she stayed at home with me and then like when I got a little bit older, she started working.
1:15:04🔗DrewThese are typically abandonment issues you're talking about, okay? Feelings of abandonment were overwhelming, threatening, dangerous, annihilating. Something about them are just impossible for you to experience.
1:15:13🔗CoolioThat's what I don't understand, like why I'm having...
1:15:16🔗DrewWell, because some meaning, something about having your dad leave and go out on a boat and your mom not working too much perhaps and not being available to you when you needed her and the feelings attached with them being gone when you needed them were overwhelming and dangerous and you've walled them off and made them things you can never experience again. They're too dangerous. They're too awful. And here you are recreating those in your romantic life and you can't get into those feelings because they've been too awful. And you need to do a little reading, maybe even a little therapy, but you have to be able to tolerate these feelings because it's a normal part of life.
1:16:08🔗AdamI'll be the go-to guy. I want to be the sixth guy off the bench because Adam is doing just fine with this. He kicks ass on this show. Much better than me. Nicole?
1:16:17🔗CoolioYes. First off, I'd like to say I love your show. My problem is that my boyfriend, when we first started having sex, it was great. I got really into it and stuff. But then he went away and we didn't do anything for a few weeks because his cousin was down. When he got back, we started doing stuff. The first time, it was really short, so we tried it second time and him and I both didn't feel anything. That's happened six times because we're trying to figure out why. Then just recently, he tried to do all this different stuff. I couldn't feel any of it. It didn't count or anything. I don't know what's wrong with me or something.
1:17:08🔗DrewYeah. The fact that he didn't feel anything really doesn't count because that's not the way guys work. The fact that he's saying that he didn't feel anything is already sort of suspect. It's what is up with this guy? Where is his head? Yeah. That's what's concerning me. He's just not in the game for some reason. That's what you're picking up on. That he's not available. He's not involved, right?
1:17:26🔗CoolioWell, I mean, he's great. He's really with me on this. He's trying to help me figure out what's wrong.
1:17:31🔗DrewYeah, but he's not involved. He's not available to you emotionally the way you need it.
1:17:46🔗CoolioWell, like, you know, like the G spot and everything, like that, I can't, like, I feel it like barely. And there's like a lot of pressure there, you know? And like, I can't even go.
1:17:59🔗AdamOpen up your ears, Nicole. Listen, go ahead, say it again, Dr. Drew.
1:18:01🔗DrewHe's not in the game. He's not available emotionally the way you need him to be, to be trusting and open and let these sort of parts of yourself function. So he's not there. He's not in for some reason. You got to figure out what's up with him.
1:18:13🔗CoolioIs there like any way like I can talk to him about it?
1:18:16🔗DrewYeah. Like what do you, what do you, what do you, I noticed you.
1:18:18🔗AdamWait, hold on. If a guy isn't, he can't feel anything. I don't understand. He can't feel anything.
1:18:24🔗DrewThat's BS is the point. It's a total BS.
1:18:27🔗DrewAnd so he's BSing you, which means he's not available. He's not in the game. He doesn't care. That's what I'm getting at.
1:18:30🔗AdamThat's what I'm getting at. Nicole, a guy, if he's going with that line, something goofy is going on with him, okay?
1:18:35🔗DrewAnd then your body is telling you that he's not available because you're not responding to anything. There's nothing there. And so you've got to find out what is his intention with this relationship. Where are you? I can't feel you anymore. I don't connect with you.
1:18:47🔗DrewLet's see what's going on. You're afraid to know. That's the problem. You don't want to ask the question because you're afraid what the answer is going to be.
1:18:52🔗CoolioAnd like also, there's more to it. Like I used to like orgasm a lot, like eight or more times. And like now, like I'm lucky if I get like one or two.
1:19:03🔗AdamWe just explained the reason why, Nicole. It's because he's not available to you.
1:19:06🔗DrewHe's not in the game. Not that he's not paying attention. He's not invested emotionally in your relationship.
1:19:12🔗AdamSo what Nicole has to do basically is talk to this guy straight out and say, what's your intentions? Do you want to be with me or do you not want to be with me? If you're going to be with me, be available to me.
1:19:19🔗DrewRight? Just what's going on? I don't feel anything. You're not here. What are you up to?
1:20:31🔗DrewListen, most women would find more than about 10 or 15 minutes painful and uncomfortable. And this is back to that call, the woman that we had a while ago. Why are guys so preoccupied with... Asked that they're preoccupied with, not what women want and actually need?
1:20:45🔗DrewSome women will go longer. But many... I'd say on average about 15 minutes about all they're built to tolerate.
1:20:50🔗AdamBut I've got to tell you, I'm still young, but I get bored after like... Not bored, but I am tired after 40 minutes. I just want to get done as long as the woman is satisfied and I've had my run. If I'm just having trouble, I've been drinking or something, and it's an hour, I just want to quit and say, forget it.
1:21:09🔗DrewI mean, it's okay, but this is a guy thing. Guys think they need to do this. Think about what... Ask your women what they want. Some may want longer. That's fine. Maybe for that particular woman, you'll be fine an hour.
1:21:21🔗AdamRobert, you are golden at an hour, man.
1:21:29🔗CallerLong time no see. First time caller. I got a question for Drew. Alright, Drew. I was wondering if your penis could shrink for no reason?
1:21:41🔗DrewWell, possibly. Steroids? It's more that there are things that could increase circulating levels of testosterone and maybe something is sort of depressing that for the time being. And I've heard people talk about this. I've not read about it medically. I'm not sure it's been documented, but many people claim that this happened, so. Why? What's going on?
1:22:02🔗CallerI don't know if I'm just paranoid, but I think my penis shrunk.
1:22:06🔗AdamFrom what to what? What size to what size?
1:22:59🔗AdamTime for break. All right. Stryker here for Adam Corolla with Dr. Drew. We're going to speak to James in a second. He has a white milky liquid coming out of something. We'll find out where that is and what the hell it is. Coming up on Loveline.
1:23:48🔗AdamGitz Loveline, Dr. Drew to my left. I would be Stryker, Stryker, Stryker, Stryker. Stryker here for Ace Rockolla, Adam Corolla. He's going to be gone for a couple of days. He's working all over the country, and thanks for being so cool when you guys call in. 1-800-LOVE-191. So let's move on and speak to James, who has something wrong with something. James 22 on Loveline, what's up?
1:24:43🔗CallerLittle risperidol, a little bit of Paxil, some Depakote.
1:24:48🔗DrewSo these are for bipolar disorder? These things can cause retrograde ejaculation. So if you ejaculate and get up into the bladder, and then you urinate it out later.
1:25:01🔗DrewAnd people can have retrograde ejaculation without being on medication. And sometimes this can be lymph. You can get leukorrhea, which is something that needs to be looked into if that's indeed what you have. So those would be sort of the more common possibility. Somebody needs to look at your urine, study it to see if there are any basically fat cells in there, fat droplets that would indicate that the lymph is getting in there.
1:26:06🔗DrewLet me also say some pills can do that too to some people. Also, it could enhance your sex drive. So it's something that needs to be thought out. Also, the birth control pill can decrease or increase your sex drive. Typically, in most women, in my experience, the progesterone heavy pills tend to decrease, and the triphasic pills tend to increase. But you can get the reverse in some people.
1:26:25🔗AdamI need to write this down after the show, because I've had experience with someone in the past where all of a sudden it was like down the hill, and I didn't even really should have called you up and asked you back then.
1:26:34🔗DrewPeople don't think about that. And sometimes the pill can make depression worse, too. So you need to be just at least aware of that. And then Paxil, of course, just shuts your sex drive down completely.
1:26:57🔗DrewWell, we don't know. And I'm just experimenting. I wouldn't recommend it. I'm just telling you that's being done. Or if this is really an issue, you want to take it seriously and consider changing your antidepressant medicine. Serizone is a medicine related to Paxil, very closely related, that doesn't cause this side effect.
1:27:16🔗DrewSerizone, S-E-R-Z-O-N-E. Remeron is another one that doesn't do this.
1:27:20🔗Remeron. My roommate is writing this down for me.
1:27:22🔗DrewRemeron is a little harder to use. Then, Welbutrin again doesn't cause it either, but you can add Welbutrin or switch to Welbutrin. The deal with Paxil is do not let anybody stop you abruptly on that medication. There's a very unpleasant withdrawal associated with stopping it quickly. Okay. Okay. Okay.
1:28:10🔗She was 17 and she was 5'9, and all this stuff, and she was worried because she's never had a relationship. Right. Maybe guys are intimidated by her. I mean, if she's 5'9, she's 17 years old, and she's a good-looking girl. I mean, that's kind of a lot for a guy to handle.
1:28:25🔗DrewYeah, except this is a point that Adam frequently makes that I actually agree with, which is that this business of attractive women never getting a date. No, uh-uh. No, there's somebody that will walk up to her, believe me. In fact, not just somebody, a lot of guys.
1:28:40🔗AdamHigh school girls, guys, I say no. We'll not do that to the hottest chicks in high school.
1:28:59🔗AdamAll right, Casey. What's up, man? You're 20 on Loveline.
1:29:03🔗CallerYep. Well, my question is, a couple of weeks ago, I was like this, I don't know really how to explain it. It was kind of like a rash kind of thing on my penis. It was like, it itched, and I was like, like, two days later. And I didn't know what it was.
1:29:23🔗CallerOh, yeah. It just kind of looks like a rash. I mean, my skin, the skin on it started peeling around it. And like I said, in like three days, it just, it went away.
1:29:33🔗DrewIt could be herpes, but the most likely thing is either some sort of chemical reaction or allergic reaction, chemical dermatitis or allergic dermatitis. It's skin. Same thing happens to skin anywhere else happens in your penis.
1:29:45🔗AdamEspecially if you don't wash your hands after urinating.
1:29:46🔗DrewThat's right. All kinds of weird stuff will happen. But Casey, without being able to see or have somebody describe the rash with accuracy, it's pretty hard to know what's going on.
1:29:54🔗AdamGo to a doctor and have them look at the thing. Lynn, 17, Loveline, what's up?
1:29:57🔗CallerOkay, this is the deal. Okay, every time I perform oral sex on my boyfriend, he does not ejaculate.
1:30:30🔗AdamHe's probably a little bit uptight, a little nervous.
1:30:32🔗CallerHe didn't seem to be, I mean, or anything.
1:30:35🔗DrewBut again, know that there's nothing wrong with him just because during the one act.
1:30:38🔗CallerWell, I didn't think there was anything wrong with him. And I asked him, like, is it my fault or something? And he said, no, I know that you're doing fine.
1:31:16🔗CallerBut I think I might be obsessed with bondage. Well, not really, though. But I asked some of my friends and they said that it was normal. But then I thought that maybe it wasn't.
1:31:28🔗CallerWell, just how like, well, I never had a relationship before. And then even online, I find that I want guys to be my master. And there's the whole thing like submissive and like dominant relationship.
1:31:41🔗DrewAnd why do you think that's so attractive to you?
1:31:45🔗CallerI don't know why, but it's just like I want to be controlled and how.
1:31:48🔗DrewWhy? Why? Why does that become arousing?
1:31:53🔗CallerI don't know. And I like listen to yourself when I've tried to figure it out. But I don't know. And I've always even like having like pain inflicted on me or inflicting pain in others. And I've always been this way for like a long time too.
1:32:04🔗DrewAnd nobody's ever done anything like that to you at any point in your life.
1:32:06🔗CallerNo. But I remember when I was younger, how like this thing to stand out is I was introduced like this porn. It was like this sadistic porn. I was like five.
1:32:14🔗DrewYeah. How did you get reintroduced to that?
1:32:17🔗CallerMy cousins were watching it and I was in the room.
1:32:19🔗AdamBut can that one time viewing cause this?
1:32:21🔗DrewWell, people don't really understand this, but that maybe, yes, maybe, that arousal mechanisms that become sort of activated prematurely can set you again in a trajectory, can sort of send you down that path.
1:32:35🔗AdamAnd maybe seeing that, that may have seemed normal, seeing that bondage at five years old.
1:32:39🔗DrewYeah, got her sort of entrained to thinking about that as a sexual experience. And that may be it. Usually people that are into that kind of thing have some sort of experience of powerlessness in childhood, that they're either abused physically or sexually.
1:32:54🔗AdamWhat kind of bondage are you into, like the whipping, being tied up, have that ball thing in your mouth?
1:33:09🔗DrewWell, just know that the people that you come in contact with, they're not going to be as... Their level of exposure to trauma will be more than yours, and they're not going to be maybe as healthy in relationships as perhaps you'll be able to be.
1:33:25🔗AdamWell, she wants to know, and I'm not sure. You're a doctor. Is this a problem?
1:33:29🔗DrewMight not be, but if you're meeting people randomly online and this is the issue you're bonding with them about, it's going to be a problem.
1:33:35🔗AdamMan, I can't believe 16 obsessed with the bondage. Where are we at?
1:33:39🔗AdamIt's break time. All right, we got to take a quick break. We got a few more. I don't know what we're going to do next, but it's Loveline. Hold on.
1:33:46🔗StrykerAdam and Dr. Drew will be right back on Loveline.
1:34:36🔗DrewNo. And here's how his head works. If I go, hey, hey, got a break. Oh, screw you. I'm talking about the cathedral-like garage.
1:34:44🔗AdamThat's what's funny about you guys, though. That's what he says. So I got this garage thing going, and I sing the porno song. So you just went to the bathroom again, and you wash your hands this time.
1:34:54🔗DrewHow do you know that? You standing in the bathroom, you have cameras.
1:34:57🔗AdamI'm following you around. Man. All right. So we're about to take off. Tomorrow's guest on Loveline is going to be the band SR-71. They sing that song right now. They're a good band, right here, right now. They're from Maryland. Thanks to Coolio, who hung out for like a half hour. Right now, he's cruising around in a car that says coolio.com on it, and he has an album coming out called coolio.com. Dr. Drew, thank you again.
1:35:20🔗AdamI will see you tomorrow for Dr. Drew. This is Stryker saying, Shalom.
1:35:27🔗StrykerThis has been Loveline. The opinions expressed on this show are not necessarily those of the staff, management, sponsors, or this station. The producer for Loveline is Ann Wilkins Engel. Loveline is a presentation of Westwood One Entertainment.
