2:21🔗AdamYes, it is Loveline. I'm Adam Corolla. He is Dr. Drew. Phone number 1-800-L-O-V-E-1-9-1, fax number 310-854-4455. Dr. Drew is a board certified physician and addiction medicine specialist. Our guest is urinating right now.
2:38🔗DrewHe's waiting for half an hour to come on the air.
2:41🔗AdamAs tradition would have it here on Loveline, our guest, we have a very, very loose policy. Ah, there he is. Henry Rollins is here. He's gotten out of the bathroom. He's sitting down. We're going to plug his CD tonight and any other thing Henry wants to plug. How are you doing, Henry?
3:02🔗Henry RollinsI'm fine. Why do they always have you guys in these kind of dark and roughed out studios?
3:33🔗AdamSometimes. I have a daytime gig and I like to just come here and see if I can start the unwinding process a little bit early. Put your cans on as we call it in the business, Henry, if you can find them. Let's talk about the new CD which is coming out tomorrow. Is that true? Yeah. Henry will be, by the way, for those of you in the LA area, will be at the Sunset Tower. Sunset Tower, yes. And that, is that the one in the heart of Sunset? Or is that the one, oh, that's the only one that's on Sunset, right?
4:09🔗AdamRight. And starting at 7 o'clock, you'll be there signing your new CD, correct? And will also come out tomorrow. Is it coming out at midnight tonight or something like that?
4:21🔗Henry RollinsI don't think there will be a line around the block. I don't think anyone would care. But yeah, tomorrow it comes out.
4:25🔗AdamAnd it's called Get Some, Go Again. It's the Rollins band. We'll hear something off of that. I also, probably a couple of things off of that. I also have some dates that I'll alert you to, where you can find Henry coming up because he will be touring, supporting the sound.
4:43🔗DrewAre you still doing the spoken words now?
4:45🔗Henry RollinsNot now. Just got the band going from March until September. So I did 99 of those shows last year, but this year is mostly a band year.
4:57🔗AdamI know. We speak to Henry periodically, and these things go on anywhere from, I guess, two hours to three hours, sometimes the spoken word thing.
5:43🔗AdamThe dreidel song. I can really stretch it out. I make rock soup out of my time on stage. So forget about the spoken word for now. You're back with the Rollins band. And is it just, I guess you love both of them, but I guess you can get burnt out on both of them too.
6:00🔗Henry RollinsYeah. I try and do different stuff just so I'm not doing anything for too long. The band takes a long time because it's more than just me. So you got to get everyone together for band practice, for the tour. And so it takes a good nine months to realize a whole band tour or longer if you want to keep orbiting the globe. And this will be till the fall.
6:21🔗AdamRight. And are you looking forward to hitting the stage with the musicians now after being out there solo for a while?
6:29🔗Henry RollinsOh yeah. Can't wait. We did 40 shows last year, everywhere from America to some festivals in Europe and had a great time. And we're doing a show, the MC5 have a Best Of record coming out the 7th of next month and they're having a big release party and we're playing that at Spaceland here in LA. Tuesday the 7th. So that will be the first gig of the year really.
6:53🔗AdamAnd also then, wow, are we in Canada at all? Yeah. This show going to Canada?
6:59🔗DrewWe live in Vancouver and up there in Seattle.
7:02🔗AdamAll right. Well, we'll, I'll give the dates out. We'll figure out.
7:05🔗Henry RollinsOutside Detroit and we're playing Detroit real soon.
7:08🔗AdamYeah, they'll be, what the hell are they gonna be in Detroit?
7:13🔗Henry RollinsWe'll find out later in the show.
7:15🔗AdamVery good. Yes, they'll be in Detroit on Friday the 31st. So coming up in just a few days. All right, we'll get on the phones. I'll give you guys the tour dates. We'll hear something off the CD and all that stuff. But first, the phones. Josh?
7:35🔗I've been going on my girlfriend for almost a year, this March 16th. And about three months ago, we first had sex, and that was the first person I had sex with. And that was the first person, I was the first person she had sex with. And, well, we did it, you know, I was on top, she was on bottom the first two times. And then the last time after that, she wanted up the butt, so I did it. And we've done it about five times since. And it's always been up the butt.
8:09🔗And I think it's really weird, and I want to say something, but she's real touchy-feely, and she gets real pissed off.
8:18🔗AdamI know how delicate the sensibilities of someone who enjoys being corn-holed on a regular basis can be. They're often pious people, and it's difficult to broach these kinds of subjects with them. They just want to talk about corn-holing and anything else can upset them. I know. My family is the same way.
8:38🔗Well, I mean, this is her first time doing it.
8:52🔗DrewI think you just tell her you're not comfortable doing this, that's all. Just tell her you don't like it. Nothing to do with her, don't make it feel like.
9:42🔗AdamI should bring in my list. I sat down with a bunch of guys and came up with a list of good band names. The other day, Stinkfinger, Foundry. There may be a band called Foundry. I don't know. It sounds like a pretty good rock band though, right?
9:56🔗DrewYeah. Yeah. Go see them in the heartbeat.
10:12🔗CallerSo, well, I'd only been, well, I've been with some guys. I started having sex when I was 14. And I never had thought that I would probably have any diseases, STDs.
10:37🔗CallerWell, I talked to my parents. I was really scared from watching some sex ed videos. And my parents took me to a clinic and I got checked out. And it turned out I had chlamydia. So they gave me some medicine for that. And I took the antibiotics. And then later on, I talked to the guy that I had had sex with recently. And this guy didn't have it. He went and got checked and he didn't have it. So that really worried me. That means that before him, I hadn't had sex for about a year and a half. So it means I would have had the disease for about maybe two years or so.
11:12🔗CallerAnd that really worried me because when I was having sex with this guy, we had had sex like a lot of times and we didn't use condoms most of the time. So and then later on when we talked about it, he said that he like come to me just about every time.
12:30🔗CallerThe question is, I still have some cramps. I read up a lot on the chlamydia and stuff and how it can turn into pelvic inflammatory disease. And I was thinking, like, hey, I didn't get pregnant any of those times, which kind of freaked me out. Not that I wanted to, but, I mean, out of all those times. And then, like, I mean, and I still get some cramps. And I do get chills. And it just, like, scares the crap out of me that I might have pelvic inflammatory disease. I'm having it so long.
13:01🔗DrewNo, no, no, no, no. You're confusing all these things. PID is a fairly acute syndrome. A lot of pain, often fevers, this sort of thing, discharge. And the indolent infection in the tubes that is really what tends to cause the infertility is probably what you, in fact, had. So PID, you may still have infection. You may even still have scarring and all sorts of things left over from the chlamydia. And that may be what's causing your symptoms. So it's important. And there could be another problem. So you've got to see a gynecologist. You probably will have to have a laparoscopy and really get completely checked out and followed and managed going forward to make sure that you don't have problems in the future. And again, there may be some fertility issues here that you want to stay on top of.
13:45🔗AdamThe Rag Mop, it's great. It's like, I got to keep a straight face when I'm having the orgasm so she doesn't know. And then five minutes later, I'll pull out. I'll grimace. I'll close your eyes. I don't want to see you get hurt. And then I'll just sort of ball up a sweatshirt and limp over to the hamper. What the? Do you think he was actually doing that?
14:08🔗DrewI think he was just mopping off and she was so out of it that she wasn't really paying attention.
14:12🔗AdamSean, you're 21. I'm going to try that when I get home tonight.
14:18🔗CallerI was, the other night, my girlfriend and I were making out and I went down on her and then she was actually giving me a hand jab for a little while. And anyway, we were both at our pants down and I went back up and started making out with her some more and after a while, I started rubbing my, well, I haven't had sex before, so I kind of obviously wondered what it feels like, right?
14:50🔗AdamYeah. Hey, hold on. We say it all the time on this show. We have 21-year-olds who sound like they're 12, 13 years old, and then we have 12, 13-year-olds who sound like they're Vietnam veterans who have been driving a truck.
15:03🔗AdamFor 20 years. I mean, Henry, it's absolutely amazing. We get guys like Sean at 21, they're like, I'm a virgin, and I was getting the hand from my girl, and I grabbed a boob, and it was cool. Then we get guys who are 13, and I was free-basing and corn-holing one of my bitches. My pager went off. I swear to God, Sean is the kind I like. He's 21, it sounds like he's 12.
15:34🔗CallerI didn't want to go into sex with anybody.
15:38🔗CallerAnyway, when I was actually on top of her, I rubbed my against her vagina and with your clothes on. No, we were both at her pants off. Anyway, I was worried about the possibility of her getting pregnant from maybe some pre-cum touching.
15:58🔗DrewI don't very unlikely. It is very unlikely. But when was this? When did this occur?
17:22🔗Well, I'm really excited about the new album, of course. Been looking forward to it for some months now.
17:27🔗AdamComes out tomorrow. Where do you live, Ed?
17:29🔗I'm living in Tucson right now, but I'm originally from Wyoming.
17:33🔗AdamAll right. You catch one of the Southwest flights. You'll be out here tomorrow and you go to the tower on sunset at 7 o'clock. You meet Henry in person.
17:41🔗I'm somewhat financially challenged at this point, but.
17:46🔗Yeah. I was curious about the current lineup because I didn't see Melvin or Chris.
17:53🔗Henry RollinsWhat happened was at the end of 1997, we finished all the shows for the year and we all decided that there is really no more music for us to do together after 10 and a half years. It was time for us to go run and play with other people. So the guitar player went off and worked on Bowie's record. The drummer worked with the Jay Giles band. The bass player went off with DJ Logic and some other New York jazz bands, and the sound man went to Europe and started working with a bunch of European pop and rock bands. I went off and did this New Rollins band record with these, my new guys, and so everyone went their separate ways and immediately got involved with other stuff really fast. So, yeah, and the new thing is very hard rockin, real straight ahead, different than the last stuff.
18:43🔗Henry RollinsOh, cool. Yeah, so that's what happened. Everyone else's, the bass player, Melvin, just had a kid, so he's like, you know, into being a dad. So everyone's cool, you know.
18:51🔗Yeah, I hadn't heard anything, so I hadn't heard any horrible break up stories or anything.
18:56🔗Henry RollinsNo, there wasn't. It was just, we all kind of went, okay, that was great. It's been 10 and a half years, now it's all time for everyone to run and do something else.
19:56🔗CallerI don't know. A whole lot, man. Well, I've got a question. Well, I have a situation, actually, right now. I'm staying with my girlfriend and her mom found out that we've been having sex. Didn't seem that big of a deal to her mom. I mean, I'd known her all my life pretty much. But when we went to Panama City this last summer for a vacation.
20:24🔗AdamYeah, true. We were in Panama City, weren't we?
20:28🔗AdamYeah. A lovely country if you like waffles. That's my rap name, by the way, Henry. It's mayonnaise. That's my main mayonnaise. That's Snoop. I saw the man show, me and Jimmy over at Snoop's getting stoned today.
21:19🔗CallerWell, me and my girlfriend's mom were really close. And like I said, we've known each other since I was born pretty much.
21:29🔗AdamGet to the part where you're screwing her.
21:31🔗CallerWell, all right. Me and her mom, we're up in this hotel, in this condo, man. We're drinking and stuff. Next thing I know, we're messing around and I ended up screwing her mom.
21:43🔗AdamOkay. And where's your girlfriend during this time?
21:47🔗CallerShe's out on the beach with her friend. So, I mean, we had a lot of privacy and everything.
22:49🔗AdamAnd where are you having all of this sex?
22:52🔗CallerWe go out places, man. We go to concerts and stuff. I had sex with her mom's friend at a concert, and her mom don't know about that yet. And, like, all this stuff is starting to come around.
23:57🔗DrewYeah. They live in an awful situation. But he is the source of problems now. Needs to extricate himself from all that.
24:02🔗AdamAll right. Well, Henry Rollins is our guest tonight. We will take ourselves a little break. We'll come back. We'll hear something off the New Rollins Band CD. Also, yeah, that's that call is revolting. We won't take that call. We'll take another one after this.
24:53🔗AdamYep, it's a loveline. I'm Adam Corolla. He is Dr. Drew. Henry Rollins is our guest tonight. The Rollins Band is back starting tomorrow. Get Some, Go Again is the name of the CD. You can find him on the Sunset Strip seven o'clock tomorrow, signing the new CD. We'll hear something off the new CD. I think we'll take a phone call first, and then we'll hear something off the new Rollins Band CD. Devin? Devin?
25:20🔗CallerAnd yesterday, I was whacking it, and my penis started stinging really bad. And I looked down, and there was this big patch of open sores around the foreskin.
25:36🔗AdamThat's David Alan Greer throwing up everybody. Yeah? Well, maybe you ought to cut back. Yeah, right. Okay. Well, since that's not an option, what should he do, Drew? Listen, when I was 14, that wasn't an option either. I had people begging me to go from nine times just down to seven times a day. I wouldn't have any of it. I ran away from home.
26:00🔗DrewYou have to stop, Devon. You got to let the thing heal. What's going to start happening is you're forcing it to start narrowing and stricturing. And the head of the penis won't be able to come out.
26:30🔗AdamWe don't, you know, people assume that's what we get all night, but we don't and we know it. Yeah. And I can feel it tonight and I haven't had this feeling in a while. Idiots.
27:56🔗Henry RollinsAnd you should be tested. Absolutely.
27:58🔗CallerBut my question, I got two questions, is what's the chances? And another thing is I thought AIDS really wouldn't show up in the blood test for about the first six months.
28:08🔗DrewUp to six months. How long ago was the contact?
28:14🔗CallerAbout a month, a month and a half ago.
28:15🔗DrewAll right. So it may not have turned positive yet. Have you had any illnesses in that six-peak period?
28:36🔗DrewGet hepatitis B and hepatitis C also while you're at it. Yeah. Again, all it takes is the body fluid contact. It has nothing to do with ejaculation.
28:46🔗AdamBut don't freak him out. You probably don't have anything.
29:04🔗DrewYeah, you can. But that's not, you understand, you may be in that window period where you could be producing virus and not have antibody yet.
29:52🔗AdamAll right. He usually uses the condom, but if the chick has AIDS, he goes in bare back. All right. We will hear something from the Rollins band. This is off of Get Some Go Again, and this one is called Illumination. That would be the Rollins Band, everybody. And you can find Henry tomorrow at the Tower Record on Sunset. And I think I'll give these things out. Seven o'clock, by the way, signing the CDs or whatever the hell else you bring. Well, we'll just start. He'll be in Detroit on the 31st of March, as we mentioned before. He'll be in Chicago on the 1st of April. 2nd Cleveland, 4th Providence, Rhode Island. Boston on the 5th, the 6th. Again, of April, he'll be in New York. 7th will be in Philadelphia. And the 8th, he'll be in Washington, DC. And then it's back to LA for 3 nights, 3rd, 4th, and 5th, all at the Whiskey in Los Angeles. Vancouver, British Columbia on the 9th. Now we're in May, by the way, if you haven't been paying attention. And as we talked about, the Ogden Theater in Denver on the 12th, the 13th of May, he'll be in Lawrence, Kansas, and Minneapolis on the 14th. And that's as much as I have on the sheet. So I think we're in all those places, aren't we, Drew?
34:25🔗AdamSo if you're in one of those places and you heard me make a mental note because Henry's coming to town and he's barren rock. Janee, Janee, you're 21.
34:44🔗My boyfriend and I have been together for four years, and we've only slept with each other. And we've talked about getting married, but not until we're out of college. And right now he's saying that he wants a chance to sleep with someone else to see what else is out there and to get rid of the curiosity. He's saying basically if I don't agree to this, but also letting me do it at the same time, that maybe there's more of a chance that he would have an affair if we were married.
35:15🔗DrewWell, he's giving you all kinds of strange messages.
35:17🔗AdamInteresting. Well, first it's not okay with him if you do it. He's just putting that out there because he knows you're not the type of person who would do it.
35:24🔗DrewHe also assumes as soon as he goes out on the street he's going to have no problem.
35:39🔗DrewI thought a tear came rolling. It hurts.
35:41🔗AdamI know because this is why I got into this. So he has a fundamental point, but he's still trying to send a message and it's not a real good one.
35:52🔗DrewWell, the problem is he knows that he needs to go out and explore who he is with other people. The problem is he wants to keep you sort of imprisoned while he goes and does that. That's not fair. You guys need to break up. By the way, he won't do what he needs to do if he's still involved with you. He'll keep coming back to you all the time and he won't have any luck out there.
36:12🔗AdamYeah, he won't. You guys been going out since you were 17?
36:15🔗DrewYeah, 16. But I do think what his instincts are telling him are in fact probably wise. That people do need a chance to figure out who they are in a relationship, away from the relationship they started when they were a young teenager. And you do too, although women are much more mature and much more able to handle real relationships.
36:31🔗Henry RollinsYeah, but in that age group, man, you're going to be so different than, in two years from now, you'll be so different than you are now.
36:49🔗AdamIs there a person, and Drew you can include your wife in this if you like, that you're, well, I guess you can't actually because you're still with her, but that's just for a few more months, right?
37:01🔗AdamHere's what I'm saying. Is there anybody, I'll put this to Drew and Henry and myself, who you regret not being with anymore? You know what I mean? Whether it was some girl from high school or someone from college or someone from when you're in black flag or someone from when I was cleaning carpets while Henry was in black flag. You know what I mean? I mean, it just all falls under the heading of experience. There's some people you miss more than others, but ultimately you're glad you didn't marry the chick you went out with when you were 19.
37:30🔗DrewAbsolutely. I've occasionally heard people say, oh, this was the one that got away. I find that to be such a strange remark.
37:42🔗DrewIn fact, I haven't had that either. My sort of thinking on that isn't, well, why'd you settle then where you were? What was, what, what is going on? You know what I mean?
37:56🔗AdamThat's the job that got away, that's the house that got away, that's the girl that got away.
38:01🔗Henry RollinsThe kind of relationship you've been in for four years at the age you're at, I think young people should be checking out lots of different, not necessarily lots of different partners to sleep with, I'm just saying lots of different friends and acquaintances and kind of friendships and all kinds of stuff. I don't think it's healthy to nail yourself down to one person in 17 with plans to marry, that's just unrealistic. Because it's going to be really unrealistic for the guy because he's going to be real curious.
39:22🔗AdamYep, it is Loveline. I'm Adam Corolla. He is Dr. Drew. Phone number 1-800-L-O-V-E-1-9-1. Henry Rollins is our guest tonight. Henry can be found in the middle of the sunset strip at the Tower Sunset tomorrow, seven o'clock, signing CDs because his new CD will be released tomorrow. And also, he's kicking off a tour. So plenty of places to find Henry, including here. And we'll go back to the phones. Ryan?
40:00🔗CallerThey aired last Saturday night. And it was really interesting to me to see the intense music going on coming out from you. And all these people were just sitting there with almost no expression except for a couple of people. They were just really getting into it. I was wondering what that was like for you to play that.
40:18🔗Henry RollinsThat was at Sessions on West 54th Street thing.
40:21🔗Henry RollinsYeah. We went in there and set up and we're playing away, as you saw, and there's a very polite crowd just watching us. And three or four songs in, I was not aware of them at first. And I started going, wow, look, we're being, we look like a museum piece or something. And so I just had to kind of not pay attention to them and just get into the music and just have a good time with me and the guys. So that's what we did.
40:49🔗AdamBut who did they think they were going to see?
40:51🔗Henry RollinsWell, I think they there's just an audience to come see who's ever there. I mean, they're polite, but they're just sitting very still. And at first I thought maybe we're bombing. And now we're playing well. They're just, you know, they're kind of confined. And it might not be the thing they were bargaining for. Who knows? But yeah, it kind of caught me off guard for a while. And then I just stopped thinking about them and just got into the music.
41:16🔗CallerYeah, I was surprised when I first heard that you were going to be doing that show. I had seen it before.
41:20🔗Henry RollinsIt's a lucky break for a band like us, man.
41:22🔗CallerIt was a fantastic show. I was glad to see you guys do it.
41:49🔗CallerAnd we got the morning after pill. And she puked around three or four hours ago. I was just wondering if the morning after pill will still be effective.
42:18🔗DrewShe needs to take the second dose, though.
42:19🔗AdamWhen you take, in general, and it probably varies from pill to pill, but when you eat anything, whatever it is, and then you vomit, if you vomit an hour later, is it already in you?
43:19🔗CallerAnd the morning after pill she took wasn't the two pills, like they gave her eight pills to take, four for the first dose and four for the second.
44:23🔗CallerWell, I had a question about the female condom. I've been taking birth control pills now for, I guess, the past, like, I don't know, four years. And I don't know. My boyfriend is kind of concerned that they're doing something weird to my brain, I guess.
45:10🔗DrewBut what is the experience you're having? What is the problem?
45:13🔗CallerWell, I don't think I'm having a problem.
45:14🔗Henry RollinsOh, here we go. That's the problem.
45:17🔗CallerYeah. He just thinks that I'm just kind of, you know, my mood. I have really bad mood swings on me.
45:23🔗Henry RollinsSounds like you're a female to me. You know, I wouldn't be blaming it on the pill. I think that kind of male-female friction is two-thirds of the reason why the world keeps spinning around and around.
45:33🔗DrewIt's reasonable for you to try off the pill to see if it makes a difference, but don't be surprised. It could get worse.
45:39🔗AdamDoes it happen during a certain time of the month or something, or is it just all year round?
45:44🔗I would say yes. I would say it would be during the time that she takes the blue pills. There's a cycle of white pills, and then there's about five days of blue pills. During the blue pill cycles, she gets kind of crampy and angry.
46:04🔗DrewIt may get better. It's worth trying off. I agree, but it might get worse.
46:08🔗AdamBefore you just go off memory, Mike, once you head down to the basement, and pull the file on Eileen, and just substantiate some of those allegations you made, go as far back as, let's say, December 94, 95, and let's pull that data, pull that graph up, and let's take a look at that. I can see Mike with like a easel and pointer stick. Eileen, could you get the lights here? Now, here we are when we met at Disneyland.
46:37🔗AdamThis is April 94. And as you can see here, you see the red line indicates your mood. The blue line is your mood after taking one of the blue birth control pills. Now, Jesus Christ, Mike, you got a lot into this.
46:52🔗CallerIs there an actual scientific data that says that they kind of mess with hormones and emotions and stuff like that?
47:02🔗DrewIn some women, the progestational agent can add to irritability more than the estrogen. And so when she gets on the progesterone elements, that could contribute to this. But some women have more of that circulating when they're premenstrual anyway. And so it can actually get worse when they come off the pill. But it's possible that she's having reaction. I think it's worth trying a couple of months off to see if it gets better. But don't be surprised if it gets worse.
47:24🔗Henry RollinsOr just give her a Visa card and don't answer the phone for five days.
47:28🔗AdamMike, you need to pick up some hobbies or get the cable fixed.
47:31🔗Henry RollinsThree Black Sabbath albums. Call me in the morning.
47:34🔗AdamAll right. Mike, Mike, what do you do for a living?
47:55🔗AdamI know it sounds funny, but it's a little spooky. I noticed when she takes the blue pills, she's this way and when she takes the white placebo pills, there's no reaction in the patient. I mean, Eileen.
48:12🔗AdamI was like, you keep rocking out to it. Henry Rollins is our guest. We'll take ourselves a little break when we come back. We'll speak to Karen, she's 27. She's having sex with a 35-year-old man who comes quickly. Sure. Doesn't have a lot of time after this.
48:29🔗Love line, LeBanachrol and Dr. Drew will be right back before you know it.
49:02🔗AdamWe'll take a quick ten second time out, and then we'll be back with more of the Fabulous Program in just ten seconds.
49:24🔗AdamIt's Loveline. I'm Adam Corolla. He is Dr. Drew, phone number 1-800-LOVE-191. Henry Rollins is our guest tonight. Get some, go again. It's the name of the new CD coming out tomorrow. And you can find him at the Tower Records on Sunset, 7 o'clock tomorrow, signing those CDs. We will hop back on the phones and speak to Karen, who's 27. Karen?
49:49🔗CallerHi. I have a question in regard to, I've been with this guy for a two-year relationship, and I haven't been involved with a lot of other guys in previous relationships that I had. But this guy, he comes quickly, meaning that sometimes, like the movie American Pie, before even he actually had intercourse, he would come.
50:12🔗AdamWhat's he doing during that period before the intercourse?
50:15🔗CallerBefore playing stuff, and he would just come. I mean, without any reaction, and he would tell me that, oh, I already came. I'm like, okay.
50:26🔗AdamWait a minute. He would orgasm without the erection, did you say?
50:30🔗CallerNo, with the erection. The thing is, I don't know. He doesn't have the reaction, meaning that, you know how when guys come, they have this.
52:02🔗Henry RollinsAdam, are you training for something with all this frequent masturbation?
52:06🔗AdamHenry, you never know. I'm training for life. You don't know when the power is going to go out. You don't know when the Russians are going to invade. You don't know. And that's what I'm saying. I hate to know that there's a meteor hurling toward the planet and that I didn't squeeze everything I could out of life, I guess is what I'm saying, which is basically me at home masturbating on a cot. All right. Hey, Karen, this is trouble. I mean, if he's having an orgasm when you're kissing, that is a hair trigger right there.
52:39🔗CallerThat is a foreplay, but I don't really even go near his.
52:42🔗AdamYeah, but he is going to have to... What about then you guys having sex, let's say half hour later after this?
52:49🔗CallerWell, he could, yeah, he could go again.
52:51🔗AdamAnd then what happens a half hour later?
52:56🔗Henry RollinsSounds like you're not having much fun. And also sounds like this guy needs to do some work and get to the bottom of this. Dr. Drew, is there stuff he can kaggle exercises?
53:08🔗AdamHow about just like a clothespan or something at this point? I mean, can't he just put like a number two pencil in there and break it off or something? I mean, something.
53:16🔗CallerIs that going to affect his sperm count?
53:18🔗CallerIf we want to get married and have children?
53:20🔗DrewNo, no, no, no, no. No? But there's medication that can delay ejaculation, there's Kegel exercise, as Adam has said, but most importantly, you have to couple, you need to kind of work with this.
53:31🔗AdamYeah, but this guy needs, and I never even, we don't talk about this much, but he needs a little, he needs to sort of sit down and practice a little yoga or something. I mean, he's got to get control of his body just a little bit. I mean, I'm not totally in control of my penis, but I keep an eye on it. This guy's penis has hopped the fence that's in the neighbor's yard. I mean, this guy's penis is like, it chewed off its chain, it jumped over the fence, it's running down the alley. I mean, he has no control over that penis at all. Got to get it before, or I hope it has a tag on it. Paula?
54:12🔗AdamNo, I didn't know where to begin. He's having an orgasm when they're making out.
54:16🔗DrewThe beginning part is her discussing within. Part of this is, I'm sure, anticipation and shame, all kinds of feelings about it. They need to get it out in the open.
54:23🔗AdamRight. Wait a minute. I want to see if she's there. Karen? You have gum in your penis. Karen?
54:34🔗AdamWait a minute. Oh, I see. She's listening to herself on the 8-second delay. Sometimes I try to run home fast enough to hear myself on the 8-second delay. It just crashed. Paula?
55:37🔗DrewDidn't she say she had some sort of experience?
55:38🔗AdamI don't know. I don't care. Paula, what else do you want?
55:42🔗CallerI just want to know, does this create a problem in my future or anything?
55:46🔗AdamYou're definitely bisexual. I don't know. How the hell do we know? Just go ahead and wrestle with your sexuality like I do. Okay? I pinned my sexuality last weekend.
55:58🔗DrewWhat changed when you stopped being attracted to men? What happened?
56:59🔗So should I experience this thing with women?
57:02🔗DrewNo. Don't experience things that's built around confusion. Just take your time. Build relationships. Then let physical sort of involvement grow out of the relationships. Don't go around looking for solutions through sexual acts. It's only going to make things worse.
57:19🔗AdamImagine going through life like you were drunk and in an airport you've never been in before. You know what I mean? Like once in a while.
57:36🔗AdamFour or five bloody Marys. And then we're in Cincinnati and I got an hour to kill. And I'm walking around the airport like some kind of, you know, it's dawn of the dead. I don't even really know where I am. I know I'm not going to remember it the next day. I'm not so loaded that I'm having difficulty with motor skills or anything and I haven't, you know, punched out any baggage handlers. I'm not urinating on the baggage go round or anything. But it's just like I don't know where I am and I don't really care. What if you go through, I get the feeling that Paul is sort of, that's what life is. That's some a-hole dad abused me. He split. I don't trust guys. I'm confused. I'm a little screwed up and I don't even know what I am. Seventeen, yeah.
58:18🔗Henry RollinsYou got a lot of questions of that age. You just got to let it ride. And what Drew said, not looking for solutions to sexual experiences, let the experience come from the relationship. That's a good, safe, and proper way to go.
58:31🔗AdamAnd people think they're going to get their questions answered through having the experience that has the question mark on it, but it only adds more confusion. Yes, it absolutely does. I mean, it just sort of thickens the sexual stew. John?
59:00🔗CallerHow do I know when you're on the chat room?
59:02🔗DrewI usually come in. I'm in there right now. I'm actually in the Depression room. I'm in the Depression room at drdrew.com. And I usually come on as Dr. DDPP or Dr. DDPP. I've got various screen names, but it's usually my initials.
59:19🔗CallerWell, there's this girl and I had a cyber sex with her. And she wants like right now, she wants to like, I got her email address and we've been talking and stuff.
59:31🔗DrewAnd this is something you're doing on my chat room?
59:45🔗DrewThen don't do it. Listen, here's my advice on the sort of Internet hookups. First of all, you shouldn't be hooking up with anybody that doesn't live within a 50-mile radius of where you live, because there's not going to be a relationship anyway if you do that. Don't let the relationship go on more than a few days before you make phone calls.
1:00:04🔗AdamTwenty miles? Three blocks. How far can you get your big wheel at 13? Seriously, 50 miles?
1:00:12🔗DrewYeah. The point is God knows she may be in another state. And you shouldn't be anybody more than a year or two older than you. You shouldn't have relationships for a long time on the web before you make contact on the phone. You should take quite a bit of time getting to know the person before you actually meet in person. That should be a phone relationship with some web backup. And then you should take somebody with you.
1:00:30🔗Henry RollinsYeah. If you're 13, the girl on the other end of the line might be some 45 year old dude.
1:00:41🔗Henry RollinsAt your age, there's some not so cool people cruising the web looking for guys just like you.
1:00:47🔗AdamYes, young, naive 13 year olds, hairless.
1:00:50🔗DrewBut look, John doesn't want to meet whoever this person is. And that's great. That's it. You have nothing to lose by saying you don't want to meet. You haven't met the person. Yeah. Have you had any phone contact? No. Yeah, just saying. You have a girlfriend.
1:01:20🔗Henry RollinsWhen I was 13, I started out having cybersex in depression chat rooms at Dr. Drew's website. From there, I went to heroin and terrorism.
1:01:37🔗Henry RollinsIt's a den of iniquity you have, Drew.
1:01:39🔗DrewRight now, I'm monitoring the JATC. If people have questions or people that can't get through on the phone lines, you can just log on and ask a question. I'll bring it up on the video.
1:01:45🔗AdamI don't know what the hell is going to become of these kids today with all this Internet and all that. I was talking to someone about this. Drew, I know you're 55?
1:02:02🔗Adam39. So we all grew up without VCRs, without the Internet. I mean, lucky. I didn't see a porn video until I was like 19 years old. I didn't know anyone had a VCR. I was telling someone the other day, I used to go to the Big Five during the summer and check out the chicks on the box that the raft came in. There was a hot looking chick in a bikini on the raft box. It was like 12, 13. I ducked my head in there. I mean, times were tight from a pornographic standpoint when you're looking at the chick on a box of a raft. Yeah, and now it's like internet and everyone's, you know, DVDs and CD-ROMs and all this. I mean, I don't know what the hell an average 13-year-old is exposed to so much stuff now that I don't know if it's good or bad or what the effect it'll have on them, and I guess we'll find out down the road. Well, maybe we are finding out.
1:03:01🔗DrewI just wish that we would do the studies on primates first. You know, see if they start behaving later. It's too late.
1:03:29🔗CallerBeen a big fan of yours for the past 10 years or so. My question is, I haven't had sex for almost two years now. It's been a self-imposed kind of thing. And lately, I just want to get out there again and do it. But I just want to do like a one-night stand kind of thing. I don't want to, I don't want the relationship. I don't want to do that whole thing. But I mean, how can I go about doing that in some sort of safe way?
1:04:27🔗DrewWhat do you mean? She can pick whatever she wants?
1:04:30🔗AdamYou want Charlie Sheen to come by and nail you? I mean, you're going to get some schlub, of course. That's what you're asking for. And why are you so bitter? What's up?
1:04:53🔗CallerYou know, the dad, the boyfriend, all of them.
1:04:56🔗Henry RollinsSo you decided just to take a two-year chill out period, and now you want to go back and explore the world of dating and all that? And so what exactly is your question?
1:05:28🔗CallerAnd that's why I've taken all this time off, is just to clear my head.
1:05:33🔗AdamAll right. But you shouldn't, with all that therapy, you should have figured out that it's not really about getting laid. It's just about...
1:05:39🔗CallerOh, I know that. I know that. I'm not ready for the whole other part of it yet.
1:05:46🔗AdamAll right. Why don't you get yourself a vibrator?
1:06:08🔗AdamAll right. Hey, Chloe, why don't you start venturing back into the dating world with your newfound knowledge that you gain from therapy? And, you know, if the sex comes, the sex comes. But don't be so frightened to participate in life. I mean, someone did something horrible to you, and then you let some other people do some horrible things to you based on what the first person did. But you stood back, you took an assessment of your life, you got a little therapy, you're a lot more wise, you're a lot stronger now, and it's time to venture back out again.
1:06:39🔗CallerI guess it's just hard to get back to that.
1:06:40🔗AdamI know, but just have an open mind. If you meet someone you like, you know.
1:06:45🔗Henry RollinsYeah, and it might be cool just to go back into the world without necessarily making sex a mandatory thing. You should just go back and start meeting people again and get back to that boy-girl thing. And maybe you'll meet a cool guy, and something even better than a one-night stand comes up from it.
1:07:06🔗AdamThis is why basically I want these fathers killed.
1:07:10🔗Henry RollinsAnd also, you should just make sure that you learn the lesson. You've got to break the pattern of abuse that you've established. Well, she is. You see that you've been dating your dad basically for those two times these other guys abused you. You know, your dad abused you, so you found two guys that did it. And when Adam said, isn't that funny how that works out? Because that's a lot of times how it is. Like one girl dates a guy, dates five guys, and five guys wail on her. And it's not a coincidence. These people find each other.
1:07:41🔗Henry RollinsThere's lots of really cool guys in the world who don't hit women, who are really cool and considerate, and you should find one of those. And the world is full of them as long as you're looking for one. So just make sure to break that pattern of abuse. It is a pattern.
1:07:54🔗AdamYou know what's funny about the world? It is full of both. I mean it's full of great guys who'll treat you like a queen, and it's chock full of a-holes that will beat your ass. And depending on what your mindset is, is how full it is. But there's millions upon millions of both, and you can go find any one you want from any category on any given day. There's plenty of alcoholics for everyone to go around, and there's plenty of Sir Walter Raleys to open the doors and throw their coats down over the puddles.
1:08:27🔗Henry RollinsChloe, it could very well be that those two times that you had the boyfriends who were nasty to you, you may be dated them because that's what you felt you deserved. And hopefully that's over with and you realize that you deserve the best and you should treat yourself that way.
1:08:41🔗AdamAnd this is, by the way, getting back to why I want the fathers killed. Because it's not only what they do to their daughters, it's what the rest of the guys do to their daughters for years and years and years. Beyond that, I mean, you know, dad does his damage from age 6 to age 9, but then the real damage is the rest of their life, oftentimes. It's the guy they get hooked up with at 16, at 19, at 27. It's their kids. Can't we just destroy these guys? I mean, if you come on to your own daughter in a sexual way, can't we just decide that there's something so broken in you it can never be fixed? If you're looking at your sick 7-year-old daughter and decide it would be a good idea to get on top of her with an erection, how much more of a definition of F-ed up do you need than that? I mean, how much more broken can you be than that? You know what I'm saying? How far beyond repaired do you have to be?
1:09:38🔗DrewNo, no, but I mean, that would be more broken if somebody actually were violently killing folks, but even that would be-
1:09:43🔗AdamA guy goes in a liquor store and shoots a Korean behind the counter. I don't agree with it, but it's not as F-ed up as a guy who's putting his penis in his daughter. It really isn't. At least he has a motive. He wants a bottle of scotch and some heroin or whatever the hell he's going to get for that 50 bucks. Jason, Jason, you're 17. What's up?
1:10:03🔗CallerFirst of all, I'd like to see how much I like the show.
1:10:06🔗CallerYou know, you guys are really cool. I'd like to tell you, Adam, that you're exactly right with the guys who work with metal. My dad's a welder.
1:10:43🔗Henry RollinsOh, they were funny. Yeah. They seem like nice enough guys. I didn't really pay that close attention because the music wasn't of very high quality.
1:10:52🔗CallerI thought they were pretty cool. The Black Flag is much better.
1:11:38🔗Henry RollinsLove Line with Adam Corolla and Dr. Drew.
1:12:09🔗AdamHey, there's the Loveline, and Adam Corolla is Dr. Drew over there, and our guest is Henry Rollins. Henry's going to be down at the tower on sunset at 7 o'clock tomorrow, signing the new Rollins Band CD. Get some, go again. You'll want to go out and see him there. We'll take, I think we'll take one call, and then we'll hear another cut off the new CD. Earl, you're 16. What's up?
1:12:34🔗CallerYeah, what's up? I just wanted to say you guys like show rock, doesn't you guys all the time?
1:12:42🔗CallerIf we didn't have remotes like that, that would be cool. No, actually, I went to one of my first raves this weekend. I went to the other one. They're pretty small, but this one was pretty big. I think someone dropped in to eat my beer, and I'm not sure. I mean, I'm cool with it. People can do it around me. I just don't do it. I think it was in my beer because the effect I had was I got really hyper. My body started getting hot, so I sat down and I chilled. A lot of my friends say time passes by fast, but it didn't really go by fast. It went kind of normal.
1:13:14🔗AdamWell, who do you think dropped it in your beer?
1:13:16🔗CallerI have no idea. Maybe somebody there.
1:13:20🔗AdamWhat do you do at a rave when you're not on acts?
1:13:23🔗CallerI just drink beer all the time and just hang out and meet people.
1:13:27🔗AdamActually, there's something sort of diabolical about going to a rave straight, because it's just pretty much chicks out of their mind, high on acts, this close to passing out, dancing and falling all over the place. You basically just go in there and have your pick of the litter. I mean, I'm not talking about date rape. You know what I mean? If you're young and you're trying to get laid, why don't you just go to a rave and instead of getting effed up out of your mind and not being able to navigate the place, why don't you just stay straight, pick up some chicks?
1:14:01🔗CallerRaves aren't really meant for going in there and just getting laid and everything. I mean, if you're out there to have a good time and everything like that, people have this bad image.
1:14:08🔗DrewAdam Aquaitz, those are the same thing. Have a good time being laid. That's the same for him.
1:14:17🔗DrewA single exposure if it's not a very large one, usually it can get by without any significant damage, provided that nothing happened to you while you were using it. You can have episodes where you get psychotic, you can get locked in, where your muscles get rigid and you can't move, and that can last for a week. I've had people in the hospital on IVs because they can't swallow, they can't move their eyes even. And the big issue with E is that the regular use, and we don't know how much use, results in a burnout or a destruction of the serotonin pathways in the brain, which are responsible for mood, controlling anxiety and memory.
1:14:50🔗Henry RollinsIt's been several days now since you had this experience, right?
1:14:56🔗Henry RollinsAnd now it's Monday. How do you feel?
1:14:58🔗CallerI feel okay. I mean, I'm still sick. Because I was, I went there drinking and I was sick. And that's not cool because being sick and drinking is not a good combo.
1:15:05🔗Henry RollinsAll right. Basically, you're reeling more from the cold than from anything that you took over the weekend.
1:15:10🔗CallerI feel drugged though because during today at school, I mean, I felt like I was drugged. I think I was like all tired and my vision was kind of not all that great.
1:15:17🔗Henry RollinsWell, if you had an e-experience, you're lucky to walk away with it, you know, and be so intact and you should, if you're going to drink beer, guard your container and, you know, don't, and never take that stuff.
1:15:32🔗DrewAll right. Let me have a couple quick points here as I got off the web. Hepatitis C is transmissible sexually as far as I'm concerned, male to female or female to male. So, it is one of the sexually transmitted diseases. It's basically exactly like HIV. Prozac will completely turn off your sex drive and one way to avoid that is either to use or add wellbutrin, remeron, and serozone or other options. And another question was, what does it mean when a doctor says there's inflammation on a pap? Have you ever heard of that?
1:16:01🔗AdamPap smear, you mean? Yeah. There's inflammation on it?
1:16:03🔗DrewYeah, sometimes the doctor will say, it's not dysplastic, it's not abnormal, it's just inflamed. And that usually means a vaginal infection. A doctor will give you a cream usually for that. And then they go back and repeat the pap, and you should see that go away.
1:16:15🔗AdamThat's what kept me out of the Army, by the way.
1:16:23🔗AdamI tried. I couldn't make it in. Now, it was... Wait a minute, it was club put. That's different, right? Is that different? Same thing. All right. We'll listen to something from the Rollins band. This is off of Get It On. Go again, and it's the same name. That's Henry Rollins, everybody. Back to basic. You can find Henry at the Tower Records on Sunset. He'll be signing the album. And then you can find him all around the country and parts of Canada, touring with the New Rollins band. How did you meet up with these guys, or how did you find them?
1:19:12🔗Henry RollinsThe band guys I'm playing with are a local Los Angeles band, a very fine band called Mother Superior. And I've produced their last two records, and they're good friends of mine. And a couple years ago, we were working on an album of theirs called Deep. And I asked them if they would help me with some song ideas I had, and maybe if they felt charitable, they would write some stuff with me in mind. And we wrote 23 songs in a very short amount of time and put them on tape in a very short amount of time. And the song that we just played, we wrote the first night of the first time we got together. And that was done in two takes, and the vocal you hear on there is the vocal from the actual take. We just pretty much did it, and we're done with it. Well, it's not rocket science, what we're playing, you know?
1:19:56🔗AdamNo, and you know, with the kind of music that you play, why not do it in the first take? I mean, what I mean is, it's visceral, it's powerful. It's not really about putting a fine polish on it. It's a lot of it. It's about energy. It's about an attitude.
1:20:31🔗DrewYeah, you would think you'd see more warts if that were a common thing, but apparently there are some warts that will transmit down there, but hard to know which ones will and which ones won't. Most won't. Most won't.
1:20:42🔗CallerOkay, because I was wondering because, like, I heard they were contagious.
1:20:45🔗DrewThey are, we think. It's pretty complicated, but there are certain subtypes that can go down there. We just don't know which ones those are.
1:21:10🔗AdamStart limbering up. I get my feet around.
1:21:12🔗Henry RollinsYeah, I get his feet, his prehensile tail, his couch leg.
1:21:16🔗AdamWell, I don't know that I would, but I think maybe my son, son, son would have a tail to do it. Eventually, the Corollas would adapt. We always do. All right, Mike? All right. All right. God bless you. Yeah. When I had my hand surgery about five years ago, I mean, five months ago, I had a cast on my hand, but I'm still able to work myself. Good. Thanks. David?
1:22:01🔗DrewOne of many. Pretty much they all in a man will present that way. But is this been happening for a long time or just recently?
1:22:08🔗CallerIt just started recently. I probably got first I thought it was because I had a surgery like on one of my testicles, and I got like a prosthetic put in.
1:22:17🔗CallerI thought it maybe was that right there.
1:22:20🔗DrewYour prostate can get inflamed and some guys get in irritation after sex without an STD, but you got to get checked. Unless it's a partner you know for a long time and you're wearing condom, there's no chance of that. But I would just get it checked out.
1:22:34🔗AdamWhy did they do that? Why did you have the testicle removed?
1:23:31🔗AdamBut it'll last, right? They don't have to change it out.
1:23:34🔗AdamIt's not made out of oatmeal or anything, is it? It's there. Okay. Good. You're fine. It'll work fine, right? Yeah. Yeah. They must have to weigh them too, right? I mean, the weight has to be about right, because what if one side was heavier than another?
1:23:50🔗DrewWell, I imagine there's sort of a standard density of testing and they just base it on size then.
1:24:25🔗CallerGood. First of all, I'd like to say Henry Rollins. Yeah. Nice music. I like the music and all, but I have to say I really loved your performance in The Chase.
1:24:53🔗CallerMy question is, well, I just moved down to Santa Barbara a couple of months ago and I'm sorry to say that I miss you guys this show at UCSB. But I guess I was pretty healthy in the masturbation department before I moved. Ever since I moved down here, I don't really take to myself that often. But yeah, I know. I'm sorry.
1:25:13🔗Henry RollinsSo you're in Santa Barbara bringing you down, man?
1:25:15🔗CallerWell, I don't know. I mean, it can't possibly be bringing me down. Everything's great. The beautiful women, beautiful weather.
1:25:22🔗AdamMaybe you're just taking a little break. I did that once.
1:25:33🔗CallerLike I noticed that there's a lack of production in my semen. And I'm not sure, Dr. Drew, maybe you can help me with this, if that has anything to do with diet.
1:25:50🔗AdamWell, hold on a second. How do you know you don't produce as much?
1:25:53🔗CallerWell, comparatively, before I moved down here, there was more production than after I moved down here.
1:25:57🔗DrewWell, you know, guys' testosterone levels can fluctuate a little bit. And it can be many reasons. If you're actually, they've shown that guys that gain positions of authority, that have athletic activity, their testosterone levels go up, their semen production, their sex drive, all that can go up. So you're sort of in a down stage right now. You're doing less and the yellowish, you know, maybe a little bit of blood, it may be just.
1:26:20🔗CallerIt's been like that for several years now. I was wondering.
1:26:52🔗DrewYeah, but do try to deal with your mood. That's really the problem is you're not real happy with your life right now. You've got to get more engaged and get with things.
1:27:00🔗Henry RollinsAnd don't ever move to Santa Cruz.
1:27:02🔗AdamThat's right. I think guys lose testosterone when they move to the beach.
1:27:06🔗AdamIt's not a testosterone area. You've got to move into the inner city to really get the charge. They mellow out. They smoke a lot of weed. They go surfing. They lose testosterone.
1:27:16🔗DrewLook at all those people walking around bathing suits.
1:27:19🔗AdamThat's even out by all the reggae music and pot smoking and sort of general melee. They need to get in the inner city. Jack hammers and horns honking and sirens. That produces testosterone. Alright, we're going to take ourselves a little break. We'll be back with Henry Rollins after this.
1:27:44🔗We'll be right back with more GIO Get It On.
1:28:15🔗AdamHenry Rollins is here. We're back on the Fabulous Loveline. Henry, put them cans on so you can hear what's going on. The CD is Get Some, Go Again. That is out tomorrow. Henry is going to be at the Tower Records on Sunset tomorrow. Go out there, support him, get his signature on your new Rollins band CD. He'll also be hitting the tour trail. He'll be in Canada and the United States and all over the place. If you can hear us, he'll be there in the next couple of months. So look out for him. Gina?
1:28:54🔗Henry RollinsHow are you doing, Gina? Don't be nervous.
1:28:55🔗CallerAll right. I've actually kind of a new Henry Rollins fan and I've been reading the portable Henry Rollins. I just wanted to kind of thank you for all the things you have to say in this book. It makes me feel kind of normal, I guess. I don't really want to feel normal, but.
1:29:16🔗Henry RollinsWell, maybe you feel a kindred spirit or something.
1:29:21🔗CallerIt's strange, but I just wanted to thank you for these words.
1:29:28🔗AdamAnd you're talking about a poetry book, right?
1:29:30🔗CallerWell, it's a compilation of wonderful things that I find so interesting. And well, I actually had a girl that I met who claims that she knew you, and we were talking about Henry Rollins, and she had something to say about, oh, Henry Rollins, he's your soulmate. I said, oh, all right, well, then I'm going to go get his book and read about him. And I'm just really interested, and I actually saw that thing Saturday night that the other guy called in and saw you singing and all those people sitting around. I couldn't believe how they were just sitting there.
1:30:09🔗AdamOh, are you going to see Henry when he's at the whiskey?
1:30:12🔗CallerI actually already called Sunset to see what time you were going to be there, because you didn't say if it was a.m. or p.m. So I think I'm going to go tomorrow night.
1:30:20🔗AdamOh, yeah, go over there, yeah, tomorrow night, seven o'clock, yeah, that's seven a.m. It would never be seven in the morning.
1:30:25🔗CallerI know, I'm like, I'm never going to be there.
1:30:52🔗CallerHurry. Henry, I was wondering, I was wondering what kind of music Black Flag is. I've never heard the band before.
1:31:01🔗Henry RollinsIt's just real hard rock and music. Some of it was real good. But it's music from 81 to 86 or 80 to 86. So at this point, it might sound a little dated and a little prehistoric. It's just being bass drums, guitar and vocal with no computers involved. But it's just some hard, wreck your house kind of rock and roll.
1:31:26🔗AdamYou can go out and get it, though. I mean, you can get Black Flag.
1:31:28🔗Henry RollinsYeah, it's all in print. And I'm sure one of your friends who's not in prison might have one of those records.
1:31:59🔗AdamAll right. Listen, I don't know why your girlfriend said this. I don't take it as a real good sign. You guys aren't getting married. So just enjoy the ride and don't get her pregnant.
1:32:09🔗DrewOr what she meant by it, you know, what is she talking about?
1:32:11🔗Henry RollinsIsn't that what Snopter told Eddie Vedder a few years ago?
1:32:14🔗DrewHey, question off the web, Henry, are you going to act anymore?
1:32:18🔗Henry RollinsI just did a small part in this film called House on a Hill. And I did all these scenes with Philip Baker Hall, who's in the movie. And in the movie, he's an architect and I'm an artist. And we have cool discussions on art and what it means. And that was fun. And I don't know when that comes out. But that's the last acting endeavor that I did.
1:32:36🔗AdamWeren't we talking about like Jack Frost or something last time you were here?
1:32:40🔗Henry RollinsYeah, that was a film I had a small part in. Michael Keaton was in that. It's a kid's film.
1:32:45🔗AdamRight, yeah. I didn't see it, but I just remember talking to you about it, I think, last time you were in the studio.
1:32:53🔗AdamYeah, that's kind of nice. I mean, I think Henry's got the right idea. Do a little, write a poem, do a little spoken word, go out and play with the Rollins band, make a video, do a little acting. I mean, get around. I mean, the point is, is no matter how exciting anything is, it can get old. And if you do a whole bunch of stuff that's exciting and you keep it sort of rotating, it doesn't get stale. Jane?
1:33:42🔗CallerWell, okay, listen. The question is this. Okay, my boyfriend, he's a really nice guy, but he's really nice. In my fantasy, I can't believe I'm saying this.
1:33:57🔗AdamYou want him to get rough with you, right?
1:33:59🔗CallerI want to like, kind of, you know, like spank me and.
1:34:03🔗AdamHey, shut up, shut up. We're short on time. You want him to get rough? Yes. And he doesn't want to do that? Have you asked him?
1:34:17🔗AdamAnd see, that's true. It's back to. All right, Jane, you may not be with the right guy or maybe he's right. Maybe you should look into this a little bit. Anyone, was your dad rough with you?
1:34:43🔗AdamYeah, you give him a few beers and then the next time he's on top, you smack him in the ass. You go, is that all you got? And then he'll go, I mean, I swear to God, you could do that to Opie from the Andy Griffiths show and he'd go, you need some more, bitch? I mean, any guy, once a guy gets his game face on, but wait till he's got his game face on. Don't be sitting around before. Wait till he gets going. Wait till he gets a little sweat on his brow and then you can goad him into it. Yeah, just give him a few beers. All right, we'll take a break. We'll be back. It's Loveline. All right, that is it for the show tonight. Get Some Go Again is the name of Henry Rollins' CD. Tower Records, everybody. Sunset Strip. Go out, meet Henry. Seven o'clock tomorrow, and look for his tour coming up at the Rollins Band. Henry, good seeing you as usual.
1:36:07🔗Henry RollinsThanks for having me, you guys.
1:36:08🔗AdamIt's our pleasure, and come back soon. I know you well. Until next time, this is Adam Corolla for Dr. Drew saying mahalo.
1:36:15🔗Henry RollinsGet some, get some, get some, get some.
