5:05
Let's go.
5:07
Voiceover
Loveline may contain sexually-oriented content. Listener discretion is advised. Adam Corolla and Dr. Drew Loveline, Coast to Coast.
5:23
Adam
Hey, it is Loveline, I'm Adam Corolla, that is Dr. Drew over there, phone number 1-800-L-O-V-E-1-9-1. Dr. Drew is a board certified physician, an addiction medicine specialist. Tomorrow night, Jeremy McGrath will be in here, the king of Motocross. I saw a win when I was in Anaheim just a few weeks back. Tonight, we have the king of, I don't know if you want to call it hip hop. What do you call it?
5:49
What do you call it?
5:50
Cypress Hill
I'm not the king of hip hop, man. I'm just one of the pieces in the game.
5:54
Adam
Smokehop. It is B-Real, of course, from Cypress Hill. B-Real comes on the show quite a bit. We're always glad to see him. He is plugging the Dragon Festival, which takes place this Saturday at the National Orange Show in San Bernardino. Those of you who are hip to B-Real in San Bernardino, remember that's where the Smokeout takes place.
6:19
Cypress Hill
Oh, yes.
6:20
Adam
It takes place there every year, right?
6:22
Cypress Hill
Yeah, every October. This year promises to be a good one as well.
6:26
Adam
There's going to be a bunch of bands as well. Of course, Cypress Hill, Linkin Park will be there, who was on this show just what, last week, week before? They were on this show real recently, Linkin Park.
6:41
Drew
Yeah, week before last.
6:42
Adam
Yeah, good guys, good band, good live.
6:44
Cypress Hill
A lot of good things coming out of those guys.
6:46
Drew
Nice guys.
6:46
Adam
Yeah, nice guys. So there's a whole bunch of acts there. And again, it's going on. The doors will open at 2 o'clock. And this one's not going to be out in the field, out on the raceway. It's going to be indoors.
6:59
Cypress Hill
Yeah, this is going to be an indoor thing, you know. A little bit. It's downsized a little bit because we wanted to make it more intimate than, you know, our big extravaganza festival in October. So this one's we're trying to do every every festival we throw a little different.
7:13
Adam
So are you guys putting this one on too?
7:15
Cypress Hill
Yeah, this is this is our event as well.
7:17
Adam
So are this the first year? Right?
7:20
Cypress Hill
Yeah, this is the first year for the Dragon Fest. And right, you know, right now we're doing pretty good. People are very interested in it. It's going to be a good show.
7:27
Adam
Now, do they, you guys have a website, right?
7:31
Cypress Hill
Yeah, I think it's dragonfestival.net or something.com. I don't know. I haven't been on the site. But I think if you go on to the Smokeout website, it'll link to the Dragon site.
7:42
Adam
And the Smokeout website is running year round.
7:45
Cypress Hill
Yeah.
7:46
Adam
So it keeps you updated on bands that may be coming out and just...
7:50
Cypress Hill
Bands that will be playing the festival and stuff like that.
7:52
Adam
Stuff that Cypress Hill is up to?
7:54
Cypress Hill
Yeah. Well, it links to anybody, I guess, who's playing in the festivals. It links to their sites and gives people information on those bands and everything, as well as ours.
8:05
Adam
Well, it seems like the last year was a good year for Cypress Hill.
8:11
Cypress Hill
Yeah, it was pretty good, I gotta say. Fans liked what we did with the Skull and Bone record. And right now, we're gonna be working on a new one.
8:22
Adam
When you work on the new one?
8:23
Cypress Hill
I believe we're gonna work on it in April. We're gonna take our time to do other things, our little side projects. I got another band going on right now. So we're all taking our little time away from each other, and then we're gonna go back in April and knock another record out.
8:39
Adam
Well, so we're hoping that the Dragon Festival becomes like the smoke out in the sense that it's a yearly event that people can look forward to.
8:47
Cypress Hill
Yeah, we're trying to have a couple of events per year, at least three. You know, we're trying to do the Dragon Festival in the spring, and closer to the summer, we're trying to do our 420 Harvest Fest that we're doing at the Shrine this year, and then we're doing our smoke out. Wow.
9:03
Adam
All right, so Cypress Hill, very busy, and again this Saturday at the National Orange Show in San Bernardino, you'll be rain or shine. It'll be indoors this time.
9:15
Cypress Hill
That's right, that's right.
9:16
Adam
Doors open at 2, and is it basically doors open and you find a seat?
9:22
Cypress Hill
Well, it's general admission, so there's no seating. It's not one of those like amphitheaters where you're subjected to sit in a seat all day. I mean, for the type of crowd that we attract, everybody wants to be standing up and moving around freely. All right.
9:36
Adam
There'll be food and- Everything. Pongs and t-shirts and everything.
9:41
Cypress Hill
Lots of girls, scantily clad women, all that stuff.
9:45
Adam
So go down there and bring your ATM card. Brian?
9:50
Yeah.
9:50
Adam
You're ATM. What's up?
9:52
I had this girlfriend I've had her for like about eight months or so, but I've cheated on her twice. I told her about one time and she flipped out. I was wondering if you think I should tell her about the second time.
10:04
Drew
Well, if your intention is to harm her and cause a breakup, sure, go ahead.
10:09
Adam
That's a great strategy. As a matter of fact, why don't you just lie and say you did it three times?
10:14
Cypress Hill
Yeah.
10:15
Drew
Get some real sport out of this.
10:16
Cypress Hill
That's a hard one. You know you want to be honest because it eats you up inside, but you know if you say something, it's going to be worse and you'll never live it down because they never forget it.
10:28
Adam
No. You'll wish you could take it back at some point when she's torturing you or sleeping with one of your friends.
10:34
Drew
All he's done is transferred his guilt into her pain.
10:37
Adam
Yeah.
10:38
Drew
And for a relationship, you don't really want to continue anyway. It might just break up.
10:41
Adam
How'd she find out about the first one? You told her?
10:44
No. I mean, I love this girl.
10:46
Drew
Well, we can tell. Your behavior just suggests nothing but love.
10:50
Cypress Hill
You love her so much you wanted to love somebody else too.
10:53
Drew
You spread the love for her around to some other people.
10:55
Cypress Hill
Spreading love. Yeah.
10:57
We go to a different school too, so it makes it hard.
10:59
Cypress Hill
Oh, yeah. A lot of girls can make it hard.
11:02
Drew
Life is tough.
11:03
Adam
Are you both in college?
11:05
No.
11:05
Drew
High school.
11:06
Adam
All right. Well, listen, if you're dead in love with her, then don't tell her about it and don't do it anymore.
11:12
All right, man. Hey, I have another question.
11:14
Adam
Okay.
11:15
I smoke all the time.
11:17
Drew
Right.
11:17
I smoke weed all the time. I was wondering, like, I recently stopped, and I'm having a hard time, like, sleeping and stuff. Is that normal?
11:26
Drew
That's the withdrawal.
11:27
Withdrawal?
11:27
Drew
Yeah, you get a lot of mood changes and anxiety. Read a book.
11:30
Cypress Hill
You'll fall right to sleep.
11:32
Drew
Read a book?
11:32
Cypress Hill
Yeah.
11:33
All right.
11:33
Adam
Yeah, how much did you smoke for how long?
11:37
I think I was probably about 16. I started off slow and then, like, lived on to about, like, three times a day.
11:47
Adam
And why did you quit?
11:50
Just for the hell of it, I guess.
11:52
Drew
Your sleep usually stays very disturbed for about three months, and for the first few weeks, you will not sleep.
11:57
Adam
Okay. All right.
11:59
Drew
Well, you just sort of book.
12:00
Adam
You get through those first few weeks, you'll be fine.
12:02
All right. Thank y'all.
12:03
Drew
All right.
12:03
Adam
Quit cheating.
12:04
All right.
12:04
Adam
Good times. He's very much in love. Dustin?
12:07
Yeah. I got a problem because I had a sex with this girl earlier today, right? It was probably like four o'clock or whatever. And when she went home, she called me up and she said like she was bleeding or whatever, and I guess it stopped. But she's not on her period or anything and she's not a virgin. She had sex like four times before.
12:26
Drew
Yeah.
12:26
So I don't know what to do. I mean, I'm kind of nervous because I don't really know what happened. You know?
12:33
Drew
Think you broke her?
12:35
I don't know. Maybe. I guess.
12:37
Adam
You've been putting your junk in a pencil sharpener or something?
12:42
No, not really.
12:42
Drew
Dustin smokes a little pot too.
12:44
Adam
Dustin, you smoke some pot?
12:46
Drew
I will.
12:46
Adam
Yeah.
12:47
Drew
Just a little.
12:47
Adam
Drew knows to pot laugh. Hey, Dustin, you know, sometimes women bleed after you have sex with them. It's God punishing them.
12:56
Because...
12:57
Drew
You can bring the period on, even though they don't think they're ready for it, it'll precipitate it.
13:01
And like when we were doing it or whatever, she was like, she said it hurt too much, but you know, I just kept going for a while, but...
13:08
Adam
That's right. You're quite a gentleman.
13:10
I thought that that might just be because she's nervous or something.
13:14
Cypress Hill
So you just kept going?
13:15
Yeah.
13:16
Cypress Hill
Oh, you're a very, you're a cool dude, man. Yeah.
13:19
Adam
He says chivalry's dead.
13:20
Cypress Hill
Yeah.
13:20
Do you think that she hurt because she was nervous?
13:24
Drew
No, I think she hurt because you were hitting something there, and maybe she has a cyst. Maybe you're too big. And a mitral infection. I think a lot of things she should have, but she could have, but you know, she's sexually active, she should be getting pelvic exams regularly if the bleeding seems disproportionate. She gotta go in and get checked out.
13:40
Yeah, because her mom was going to take her to the gyno or whatever, but she didn't want to because she was nervous that her mom might find out she had sex.
13:48
Drew
No, it's not, the mom, no, this is between she and the doctor.
13:51
Cypress Hill
Is it the first time it happened?
13:52
Well, you were, like, last time we were doing it, it was on, like, New Year's Eve or whatever, and she couldn't really handle it, so I didn't finish because it hurt too much for her.
14:02
Adam
Yeah.
14:03
Drew
Every time we're about to do it, I'm like, well, she needs to have that checked out. The bleeding may or may not have something to do with that, but she needs that checked out right away.
14:10
All right.
14:11
Drew
Okay?
14:11
Adam
All right, so just tell her to get to a gynecologist.
14:13
Drew
And she should realize that she has a right to confidential care with that gynecologist.
14:18
Yeah, that's what I told her.
14:20
So do you think it's pretty serious that she was bleeding, or is it?
14:22
Drew
I don't know. I think it's more serious that she was having pain. All right.
14:26
Adam
Well, what do you think the bleeding is, Drew?
14:28
Drew
I think it's just the usual sort of what sex stimulates bleeding in some women.
14:32
Adam
Yeah, because what? They get around, the blood goes to that area, and then what?
14:37
Drew
And then something comes in there and penetrates and stirs everything up.
14:40
Adam
Well, where does the blood come from?
14:42
Drew
The, do you want me to get my picture?
14:43
Adam
No, I don't want you to. No, no, I cannot look at, I cannot look at clinical pictures of vaginas anymore. It ruins my masturbatory sessions when I get home.
14:53
Drew
Out of it.
14:54
Adam
All right.
14:55
You want your book, then?
14:56
Adam
All right, hold on.
14:58
Drew
No, no, no. There, there, there.
15:00
Cypress Hill
Thank you.
15:01
Be real.
15:02
Adam
Have you ever seen a real vagina?
15:04
Cypress Hill
No, but I guess I'm about to.
15:05
Adam
Yeah, it's scary. There's a million parts in there. It's like a wrist watch.
15:10
Cypress Hill
You know, you think it's a puzzle. We're constantly trying to figure out.
15:13
Drew
This is the outside world here. This is where the blood comes from in here. This is where you go is in here.
15:18
Cypress Hill
This is where we go.
15:19
Adam
And where do we hit?
15:20
Here?
15:21
Drew
Hit that thing.
15:21
Adam
I never made it that far.
15:22
Drew
No, you personally don't hit there. You can easily start, blood can start coming out.
15:27
I see.
15:28
Adam
All right. That's good radio. When Drew points at pictures and we groan. All right. David.
15:35
Hi.
15:35
Adam
Hey, you're 14.
15:37
Caller
Yeah.
15:37
Adam
What's up?
15:38
Caller
First of all, you guys rule.
15:39
Adam
Great.
15:39
Caller
Thanks. I lost my virginity at a party. I was like drunk in a threesome with a guy and a girl. And I got this girl pregnant.
15:50
Adam
Yeah. We don't believe it.
15:52
Caller
Why?
15:53
Adam
Because first off, you're 14. You don't sound like you've had a beer yet at 14, much less been in a threesome.
16:00
Caller
It was like three months ago.
16:01
Drew
You'd be a little more freaked out if you got to go pregnant in a threesome.
16:04
Adam
And your voice changes when you get laid.
16:07
Caller
Pardon?
16:08
Adam
I can tell by your voice. I'm serious. We talk to these guys all the time. We talk to these 13 year olds like, yeah, broke off some ass the other week, man.
16:17
I was banging this bitch pretty good doggy style.
16:20
Adam
Anyway, bitch knocked my beer over, so I went upside her head with, you know, a lamp cord.
16:25
Cypress Hill
There's a certain swagger about a guy when he gets laid for the first time.
16:29
Adam
And when we talk to the 13, 14 year olds at Hammon, it's like, anyway, I was with this young lady. It's never believable, but I'll talk to David for a second. David? Okay.
16:43
And she got like pregnant.
16:45
Caller
And I just don't have to tell my parents.
16:48
Adam
Why? But maybe it's the other guy's baby. Maybe. I don't know.
16:53
Caller
Should I have a test or something?
16:54
Adam
Well, you never thought that maybe it was the other guy and the other guy has sex with her too? Yeah.
16:59
Drew
Who's the other guy?
17:00
Caller
I don't know.
17:01
I bet I was drunk at a party.
17:02
Caller
I don't really know.
17:04
Adam
You don't know? I've been drunk at a thousand parties. I always know the other guy's penis is next to me.
17:11
Caller
So what should I do? Should I get the test first?
17:14
Drew
Why don't you answer our questions?
17:16
Adam
Who's the other guy?
17:17
Caller
I don't know.
17:18
Caller
It was some guy from school because you know it's like a school party.
17:20
Caller
Yeah.
17:21
Adam
You never saw him the next day at school?
17:23
Cypress Hill
They're having three school parties.
17:25
Adam
This was an officially school sanctioned party.
17:28
Drew
So when you went back to school, just two school parties. And when you see the guy at school, don't you want to know what his name is?
17:35
No, not really because I don't really see him at school.
17:36
He's in none of my classes.
17:39
Adam
So you never really thought, who was this other guy with the boner next to me having sex with this chick I lost my virginity to?
17:46
No, not really.
17:48
Adam
All right. Well, now we don't believe you, David.
17:51
Why?
17:51
Drew
Because you just cracked the laugh too. That's not the way humans were.
17:55
Adam
There's not a 14-year-old alive who had sex with some other guy in high school and didn't catch the guy's name and doesn't know who the dude is and doesn't see him in the hall and hasn't talked to him. Plus, it could be his kid, so obviously, he'd be very interested in finding out who this is. It's just there's a lot of holes in this story, David. You got to work it out and call back, all right? Okay. All right, buddy, take care. See, listen, I don't mind a bogus call, but at least give us the dignity of actually working, hashing it out a little. Kind of threesome, I don't know who the guy is.
18:27
Cypress Hill
He sounded like a little girl at that.
18:29
Adam
Yeah, could have been a check.
18:31
Cypress Hill
That's what I thought.
18:31
Adam
Ryan?
18:32
Hi.
18:32
Adam
You're 19.
18:34
Caller
What are the causes of acute lymphatic leukemia?
18:37
Drew
It's just one of those diseases that occur sporadically with no known cause. There are plenty of diseases you can get without a specific cause.
18:44
Adam
Why, do you have that?
18:45
Caller
No, one of my best friends has it and I was worried.
18:48
Drew
It's a bad disease. How old is he? Yeah, that's tough.
18:53
Adam
You're 19, you had a best friend who was a 14 year old?
18:56
Caller
Yeah.
18:57
Adam
How come?
18:59
Caller
I came in here because my sister was in the hospital.
19:02
Drew
Your sister what?
19:03
Caller
Was in the hospital.
19:04
Drew
Lives in the hospital?
19:05
Adam
No, was.
19:06
Drew
Was in the hospital.
19:06
Adam
Why was your sister in the hospital?
19:09
Caller
She got diagnosed with, I can't remember the disease, but she was in ICU for a couple of weeks.
19:17
Drew
Wow. What did the disease have to do with?
19:20
Caller
Well, actually, the doctors really couldn't find out. All of her organs were failing and, yeah.
19:27
Adam
How's your sister?
19:29
Caller
She's doing fine now, but she was in the hospital for four months.
19:32
Adam
So you met this person in the hospital?
19:34
Caller
Yeah.
19:35
Adam
I see. And this person was in the hospital because they were sick?
19:39
Caller
Yeah.
19:39
Drew
So he already had ALL then?
19:41
Caller
Yeah.
19:42
Drew
And when was this you met him?
19:45
Caller
It was about a couple years ago.
19:48
Drew
So he had it when he was a younger child? Yeah. He had whole brain radiation and he had the chemotherapy and stuff, right? So those kids have a higher risk of second cancers, but the ALL usually is under good control. Usually he's short stature and that sort of thing. Yeah.
20:04
I have a question for B-Real.
20:06
Cypress Hill
Yeah.
20:07
Caller
I heard you were trying to be the lead singer for the Maze Cancer Machine.
20:10
Cypress Hill
Oh, I knew that was coming. It's maybe a possibility. I don't know yet. We're still working it out, but I'd love to do it.
20:20
Adam
What happened? They broke up, right?
20:22
Cypress Hill
One of them left.
20:24
Adam
Was it the lead singer that left?
20:25
Cypress Hill
Yeah, the lead singer.
20:26
Adam
So they're looking for a new lead singer?
20:28
Cypress Hill
Yeah, I guess that's what's going on.
20:30
Adam
All right. So you're in that- Oh, is that your side project you're talking about?
20:34
Cypress Hill
No, the side project I'm working on is with a couple of guys from Fear Factory, and one of my partners from the Deaf Tones, we're working on a band called Kush right now. So that's the side project.
20:45
Adam
I know this sounds, I don't know, naive or something, but if you have a project, why not just do it with Cypress Hill?
20:53
Cypress Hill
Well, I wanted to do a little something different that Cypress Hill doesn't do. Right.
20:59
Adam
Just different kind of music, different sound?
21:01
Cypress Hill
Yeah, different kind of music, a little bit heavier as far as the hip hop metal scene thing is going. I mean, we do it with Cypress, but the band that I have working on this new stuff is in a whole other realm.
21:16
Adam
How does this guy know about Rage Against the Machine?
21:18
Cypress Hill
Well, those are rumors circulating right now, because I called those guys when the whole thing happened, just to show my support and I said, hey, if you guys need a guy, I'm right here, man. What are you going to do? Yeah.
21:34
Adam
What about Van Halen? You're going to work with them too?
21:37
Cypress Hill
No. That's David Lee Ross' part, man. Hopefully, I don't do a Van Hagar with them, man. If I can't do it justice, I'm going to step to the left and keep doing what I'm doing.
21:47
Adam
All right. Well, we'll keep our eyes open and see what happens. Sarah?
21:52
Hello.
21:53
Adam
You're 23.
21:54
Caller
Yes.
21:54
Adam
What's up?
21:55
Caller
I just have a question for you guys. This is really weird. Basically, when I get aroused and I'm kissing my boyfriend, I get sort of an aching in the vaginal area, and I'm just wondering if that's normal.
22:10
Drew
Does aching get relieved by anything?
22:13
Caller
Usually, it's just when we start kissing or whatever, and then it goes away once we've been kissing for a while. I don't know if that's the blood rushing to the area or what.
22:23
Drew
It's aching that men feel all the time, right?
22:25
Adam
Yeah. They're nuts throbbing when we kiss for too long. Yeah. That's the pain we feel in our soul and our testicles. Yeah. But it goes away?
22:37
Caller
Yeah. After a little bit, after I'm fully aroused, I guess you could say.
22:41
Drew
Any chance you have a hernia or anything like that?
22:44
Caller
Not that I know of. Well, this has been happening on and off ever since we've been together, which is about five years.
22:49
Drew
Are you sexually active with him?
22:51
Caller
No. Well, not intercourse, but we do everything else. So I guess you could say sexually active, yes.
22:56
Adam
Are you religious?
22:58
Caller
Not really.
22:59
Adam
What's the matter? Just just prude?
23:01
Caller
No.
23:02
Adam
What's up?
23:03
Caller
He's pretty religious.
23:04
Adam
Oh, he's religious.
23:06
Caller
And we got together when I was 17. And I don't know, I still feel like we're pretty immature in the relationship. And all my friends are getting married.
23:14
Drew
Yeah, six years is, you know, you just get started.
23:16
Adam
Give it some time. Let's not rush right into sex. Yeah, I mean, give another two or three Olympic seasons and then you can slowly graduate into sex.
23:27
Caller
Yeah.
23:27
Cypress Hill
That'll suck if she's been with this guy that long and then when they finally do do it, he's whack. Yeah.
23:33
Adam
Well, they finally get around to doing it and he breaks her hip because she has osteoporosis.
23:37
Drew
But this is kind of interesting. What if he's just totally into oral sex? And that's why he doesn't care to move on.
23:43
Adam
Well, let's examine this a little bit.
23:45
Drew
Adam, maybe you've made the mistake of moving on to general course.
23:48
Adam
I should have just picked a religion, stuck with it and just stayed with the oral sex.
23:52
Drew
And created a technicality.
23:53
Adam
That's right.
23:54
Drew
You drew an arbitrary line in the sand.
23:56
Adam
Sorry, baby. I'd like to get it on, but my religion does not permit me to engage in that, so start blowing.
24:02
Drew
Oh, how cute. But you can blow me. I can't resist now.
24:05
Adam
Yes. I'll be reading the Torah on your head while you're blowing me. Thank you. Please slow down. You're crumpling the pages. I can't focus here. The TV, that's part of my religion as well. Sports Center, it grounds me.
24:20
Cypress Hill
Slow down. You're making me read too fast.
24:23
Adam
Sarah?
24:24
Caller
Yes.
24:24
Adam
You're not religious, but he is.
24:27
Caller
Yeah. I wouldn't say that's the total reason for us not having sex yet, though.
24:30
Adam
How old is he?
24:32
Caller
He is 23 as well.
24:33
Drew
What is the total reason?
24:35
Caller
I don't know. I think it's just the thought of having to, you know, go on birth control and the side effects and the risk of getting pregnant or...
24:43
Drew
What about a condom?
24:44
Yeah.
24:45
Drew
Well, what's so difficult about that?
24:47
Caller
It's not difficult. I'm just fully pleasured by everything else we do.
24:50
Adam
And you guys just have oral sex each time?
24:53
Sometimes.
24:54
Adam
But I mean, that's the totality of your sex. I mean, you...
24:59
Caller
Well, other things as well.
25:00
Adam
Well, yeah. I mean, he doesn't... You don't... He doesn't just shove his dork through the mail slot and talk to you through that peephole in the door, right? No. No. I mean, he actually comes into the house, you guys kiss, you hug, and then you have oral sex, right?
25:15
Caller
And then we talk sometimes, yeah.
25:16
Adam
And then you talk afterward. Oh, yeah. I see. No, I didn't mean to cheapen your relationship, but I just meant it eventually ends up in oral sex.
25:26
Caller
If we are alone.
25:28
Adam
Okay. And we're still all just a little bit puzzled here. I mean, he's religious, but he's not that religious. You're not religious.
25:38
Drew
Every time we allude to oral sex, you're like, well, yeah.
25:42
Adam
You're in love with the guy. You have that throbbing in your vagina every time you embrace, which is love, by the way. They talk about hearing violins or seeing fireworks. It's really the throbbing and the growing. That'll tell you when you're in love. But yet, you will not consummate your relationship.
26:00
Caller
Is that something wrong with that?
26:02
Adam
Yes. There's something peculiar about it.
26:04
Caller
She's afraid to give it up.
26:05
Adam
Now, what is it?
26:06
Caller
Maybe.
26:07
Adam
Are you scared to get close? Are you scared for that intimacy? Where's your father?
26:11
Caller
He is in an apartment across the city.
26:15
Adam
How is he? Do you get along with him?
26:17
Caller
Yeah.
26:18
Adam
You love him?
26:18
Caller
Yeah.
26:19
Adam
He was a good dad?
26:20
Caller
Yeah.
26:20
Adam
He didn't abandon the family?
26:22
Caller
Nope. He was around until him and my mom split up about maybe a year and a half or two years ago.
26:29
Adam
I see. And did you lose anybody? Any brother that died in a motorcycle accident or anything like that?
26:36
Caller
Nope. I have a sister and she goes to school.
26:39
Adam
No losses in your life?
26:40
Caller
Nope.
26:41
Adam
No. Never been raped or molested or abused?
26:43
Caller
Thank God, no.
26:45
Adam
No. So you never, you don't have any reason not to get close to somebody this way?
26:50
Caller
Not really, except just I guess the only reason I could think of is I don't want to have to deal with any of the responsibilities or consequences that come with it. So maybe it's just a little bit of immaturity. I don't know.
27:01
Adam
You overweight?
27:02
Caller
No. I'm pretty skinny actually.
27:04
Adam
Not husky, huh?
27:05
Drew
And again, how is it that the rest of the country manages to use birth control effectively, but you're afraid you won't be able to?
27:10
Caller
I don't know. I'm lazy.
27:11
Adam
What about, what about, do you own a car?
27:14
Caller
Yes.
27:14
Adam
What about the responsibility of, you know, accidents, insurance, gas, burning up fossil fuel, replacing brakes? What about all the risk? What about all the responsibility of getting in your car every day?
27:25
Caller
Well, that's not responsibility with your body, though. That's responsibility with me.
27:28
Adam
Sure it is. You could go through the windshield. There's a potential that you could be clipped or killed in your car every time you get in it.
27:37
Caller
That's true.
27:38
Adam
Yet you do. While you put the seatbelt on, you drive safely. Go ahead.
27:42
Cypress Hill
Maybe the throbbing is actually telling her to finally give it up.
27:47
Adam
Yes, your vagina is smarter than you are, Sarah.
27:49
Caller
It speaks as well as yours.
27:51
Adam
All right. I don't know. Are you sure? What if he wanted it? What would you do?
27:57
Caller
I would probably do it. He's never really pursued it.
27:59
Adam
That's okay. Now we're getting to it.
28:01
Caller
That's another reason as well.
28:03
Adam
Now we're getting to the truth here. So if he showed up Friday night with a smelling like aqua velva or high karate and he had a bottle of champagne in his hand and he said, I got a condom in my pocket and tonight is the night, you'd be down with it, right? So now why isn't he doing it? So it's not you.
28:20
Cypress Hill
Maybe that's what the problem is in the first place.
28:22
Drew
It's him and she's afraid to-
28:23
Caller
Probably have some issues there.
28:24
Drew
Why? Are you afraid to ask about him?
28:26
Caller
Well, like his mom is pretty religious and he respects her and I mean, he was even, you know, we are going to go away in a couple of weeks and he didn't, I don't even know she knows and it's just probably some of the issues he deals with as well as why he hasn't pursued it.
28:42
Adam
But not as well, it's him. I mean, you're waiting.
28:46
Cypress Hill
She wants to do it, he doesn't, she's making excuses for himself.
28:49
Drew
Yeah, at least we understand though.
28:51
Adam
Right, she's turning it into some sort of mutual thing and it's mainly this guy's not.
28:55
Drew
Not mutual.
28:56
Adam
He's not getting off, no, he's not getting off his ass.
28:59
Cypress Hill
What if he's getting off somewhere else?
29:03
That's right.
29:05
Adam
Have a good night's sleep. Enjoy. Be real, this is here from Cypress Hill. We'll take ourselves a little break when we get back. Once we get to Scott, he's 26, he has an STD and he wants to know how to tell his present girlfriend after this.
29:54
Caller
Yep, it is Love Line.
29:56
Adam
I'm Adam Carolla. That is Dr. Drew over there. Phone number 1-800-LE-1-9-1. Our good friend Be Real is here tonight from Cypress Hill. Saturday is the Dragon Festival, which is going on in the National Orange Show in San Bernardino. Doors open at 2 o'clock and show up ready to go. There's, actually, we got the list of the bands here. I think I got the flyer, but I can't read any of them. We do know Linkin Park and somebody from Bone Thugs in Harmony is going to be there, Wu-Tang Clan.
30:30
Cypress Hill
The Jizzers from the Wu-Tang Clan, The Beat Nuts, Blackalicious. Who else? You got the flyer.
30:37
Adam
Yeah, I'm trying to read it here.
30:40
Cypress Hill
I'm doing a special set with this guy named AK1200. It's going to be quite a show.
30:47
Adam
Yeah, I'm going to get a clear copy of this so we can get all the rest of the bands. But don't worry, if Cypress Hill is putting it on, it's going to be a good show, just like the Smoke Out. And it'll be, you'll get all the bang for your buck you can over there. Scott.
31:04
Yes, hi.
31:05
Adam
You're 26. What's up?
31:06
Caller
How you doing? Hey, Be Real. How you doing?
31:08
Cypress Hill
How's it going, man?
31:09
Caller
Dr. Drew and the great Adam Corolla.
31:11
Cypress Hill
Why, thank you.
31:12
Caller
I have a question for you. The other day I went to the doctor and had a complaint about my bits and pieces. I had some bumps on it, so I took it down there and had it looked at. I guess they did a little bit of manipulating with a scalpel. I had to get into it, but they sent the sample up. I guess it was a biopsy on it.
31:29
Drew
Right.
31:30
Caller
It comes back, I guess, a couple of days later. The doctor gives me a call, tells me that it's condyloma humanata. My question is...
31:39
Drew
Like 30 percent of your peers, most people have that.
31:43
Adam
Is that warts?
31:44
Drew
Warts.
31:44
Caller
Yeah, that's what it is. Yeah, I guess so. That's the fantasy.
31:46
Drew
This is genital warts. It's what most people have. You just join the ranks of...
31:49
Adam
Not me, brother.
31:50
Drew
Yeah, I know. You have the stunt penis, though. We haven't seen your real penis yet.
31:54
Adam
I showed Drew my penis. B-Real, Drew dumped acid. What kind of acid was that?
32:00
Drew
Acetic acid.
32:01
Adam
Acetic acid on my penis and shined a black light on it to see if any little white caps popped up. Nothing. Clean as a whistle. Gold medal. I could do surgery with my penis.
32:14
Cypress Hill
So they do that now, huh?
32:15
Drew
You could eat off your penis.
32:17
Adam
You could. You'd have to find something really narrow. You'd have to eat like a little California roll or something maybe. I don't know. What would you eat off my penis? A piece of licorice.
32:29
Drew
Scott, what's the question?
32:31
Adam
Red Vine.
32:32
Caller
Question.
32:32
Yeah.
32:34
Caller
The girlfriend now. Do I tell her, is this contagious? I mean, what if it is?
32:36
Drew
Absolutely. She definitely has it.
32:38
Caller
Yeah.
32:39
Drew
Probably. Unless you're... Unless you're... Where you probably got it from.
32:43
Caller
No, I had it before her.
32:44
Drew
For sure.
32:44
Caller
Yeah. Because I noticed it before I had it. And it just... I was like, what's that? You know?
32:49
Adam
Okay.
32:50
Drew
For her, it's an issue because certain of the viruses that cause these warts can increase her risk for cervical cancer. So, it's got to be checked regularly.
32:58
Adam
How long has he been with her?
33:00
Caller
Three years.
33:01
Adam
And you had these warts before you met her?
33:04
Caller
Yeah. But they hadn't grown to where they were noticeable. And I just recently started noticing they were getting bigger.
33:09
Drew
Do you think maybe they were different growths?
33:11
Caller
I don't know. I honestly don't know. They started getting bigger.
33:14
Drew
To me, it's a reasonable assumption that you got it from her.
33:19
Caller
No. I don't think so. I had the bumps before.
33:22
Drew
We're hearing that. But now there's a new growth, a new crop.
33:25
Caller
It's the same one, but it started growing larger. All right.
33:28
Adam
Well, maybe it was just she acted as fertilizer or something. Perhaps. They use fish for fertilizer. A lot of the Indians do.
33:35
Drew
Did he offer any treatment for you?
33:37
Caller
Pardon me?
33:37
Drew
Did he offer any treatment?
33:39
Caller
He nailed me with liquid nitrogen.
33:40
Drew
Yeah. There's Aldera now. There's a cream you can use.
33:44
Adam
What do they put that liquid nitrogen on with? Just a dropper?
33:48
Caller
Q-tip. It's a gun.
33:49
Drew
Or a Q-tip even.
33:50
Caller
Actually with a gun.
33:51
Adam
That's bad times.
33:52
Caller
Yeah.
33:53
Adam
They freeze them and then they scrape them off?
33:56
Caller
Well, he first took a piece of it.
33:59
Drew
Sometimes it burns them so thoroughly, you don't have to scrape anything.
34:01
Caller
Then you burned it.
34:02
Adam
Nice.
34:03
Caller
Throw your toes. Yeah.
34:04
Adam
It's funny that cold burns.
34:07
Drew
Yeah, well.
34:08
Adam
But does it burn? I mean, is it burning technically? Do you know what I mean?
34:12
Caller
Well, when he's doing it, it's really cold. And then after a little while, it starts to burn. After two or three minutes, it starts to set in.
34:19
Adam
And after four minutes, you lost your erection, right?
34:24
Drew
And your penis.
34:25
Caller
Well, actually, they do make you milk it a little bit. That's a bit uncomfortable. But these are the price you pay when you play.
34:31
Adam
No kidding. All right. Well, listen, good luck with your girlfriend.
34:35
Caller
Adam, one more thing.
34:35
Adam
Hold on. You got to tell her to get checked out, because this could screw her up.
34:38
Caller
If she gets an annual papstum, then she should be okay.
34:41
Drew
Yeah, it'll provide a... She may need to buy an annual papstum.
34:44
Adam
But is Scott saying he's not going to say anything?
34:46
Drew
That's what it sounds like.
34:47
Caller
All right. That's it. Do I offer this?
34:50
Drew
Yes.
34:51
Caller
Do I go ahead and I drop it down and say, hey, I was a dirty person before I met you and...
34:55
Drew
A dirty person? Why? Because you had a sexual encounter with someone before your girlfriend?
35:01
Caller
Well, what the doctor told me is it's caused from having unprotected sex with multiple partners.
35:07
Adam
Yeah, but listen.
35:08
Drew
Any partners these days.
35:10
Adam
You could sleep with a hundred and not get it, or you could sleep with one and get it. So you have to lie and you slept with one and got it. That virgin bitch lied. That's what you do. You don't have to say you got it from sodomizing a junkie.
35:30
Caller
I got it from a toilet seat. How's that?
35:31
Drew
No.
35:32
Caller
No, okay.
35:33
Adam
All right. Listen, Scott, you better say some because it could screw her up.
35:37
Caller
That's true.
35:37
Drew
You owe her that.
35:38
Adam
All right.
35:38
Caller
I understand. Hey, one thing before I get off the line.
35:41
Adam
Yeah.
35:41
Caller
Huel Hausner this past weekend was doing the California Gold Series.
35:45
Adam
Yes.
35:45
Caller
Outstanding. Outstanding work that's done to the community.
35:48
Adam
Yeah, it's Houser.
35:49
Caller
Houser, sorry.
35:50
Adam
Okay, Scott. Take care of yourself with that penis. He'll never tell his girlfriend. No, I know. He'll rationalize that if she's getting annual pap smears.
35:58
Drew
That's enough. It's sufficient.
35:59
Cypress Hill
Yeah, how do you say something like that?
36:00
Adam
Why freak her out? And he doesn't want to have to put the condom on with someone he's been with for three years already. So she probably has it, right, Drew?
36:09
Drew
She definitely has it.
36:10
Adam
Really?
36:11
Drew
Yeah.
36:12
Adam
Definitely?
36:12
Drew
Well.
36:13
Adam
And now they're starting to think that warts might go away eventually on their own, right?
36:16
Drew
Yes, a certain percentage of them do.
36:17
Adam
It's no longer a life sentence.
36:19
Drew
Some of the ones that stay are the ones that cause the cancers.
36:22
Adam
Amber?
36:22
Caller
Uh-huh?
36:23
Adam
You're 18?
36:24
Drew
Yeah. What's up?
36:26
Caller
On Sunday, I was taking a shower and I got out because I got really, really hot and I felt really, really dizzy and I laid down in the bed.
36:41
Drew
What's your question?
36:42
Caller
I went to the hospital because my boyfriend made me go to the hospital and they took a whole bunch of tests.
36:48
Drew
What's the question?
36:49
Caller
Sorry. They told me that there's a VEGAS nerve.
36:54
Drew
What's the question?
36:56
Caller
Is there anything like a VEGAS nerve in your back?
36:59
Drew
No, but it will cause a vasovagal reaction to be in a hot shower.
37:03
Caller
Okay.
37:04
Adam
Is your boyfriend Jewish?
37:06
Caller
No. Huh.
37:07
Adam
I wonder why I insisted. You go, well, I don't mean to sound too derogatory, but I, any, if I knew a girl and she like felt tired and she got a shower, I said, honey, go to bed. What? Hospital? Are you nuts? Lie down.
37:21
Caller
He was just to say that I was pregnant, I think.
37:23
Adam
Ah.
37:24
Drew
I understand why, Amber, you won't believe what they tell you at the hospital.
37:27
Caller
Well, I just, his mom.
37:31
Adam
Oh, you.
37:31
Drew
That's the more significant issue here.
37:35
Adam
You wanted to go to the hospital and he took you.
37:37
Caller
No, he made me go.
37:38
Adam
He made you go.
37:39
Caller
He drove me there.
37:40
Adam
He drove you there because you said you're going to die.
37:43
Caller
Kind of. I didn't feel good and so.
37:45
Adam
Yeah. Okay. I'm trying to figure out what's going on here.
37:48
Drew
A lot of drama with Amber. What's up? Then she goes and whatever they tell us, hey, how dare you. Yeah.
37:52
Adam
What's up with you, baby? I don't know. Well, I mean, why? Okay. So you won the shower, you fell a little lightheaded, you got out of the shower and you went to lie down. Yeah. No, 99% of 18-year-olds will just went to bed. But you thought you're having a seizure or something.
38:10
Caller
So my stomach had been hurting me for, it's been hurting me for.
38:13
Adam
Okay. But everybody, look, people do this, I got people I work with that are sitting around work feeling this way all day. We don't put them in the ambulance and take them anywhere. I mean, why the reaction?
38:25
Drew
Then why go and then not believe?
38:26
Adam
Then you go into the hospital and you get some advice and they tell you it's basically nothing and you don't believe them.
38:32
Caller
Just cause he listed a lot of things that it could be and it just kind of freaked me out.
38:37
Drew
Yeah, but he told you it was a vasovagal reaction.
38:40
Caller
He said there was a kind of nerve in my...
38:41
Drew
It's a vagal reaction.
38:43
Caller
Okay.
38:43
Drew
Okay. That's what he told you and that's what it was.
38:45
Adam
So what's up with you, Amber?
38:48
Caller
I don't know.
38:49
Adam
All right. Are you like obsessive compulsive?
38:53
Adam
Is someone hit you when you're growing up?
38:56
Caller
Yeah.
38:56
Adam
Yeah. Oh, Drew. I'll tell you everybody, Drew gave a quick right cross.
39:01
Cypress Hill
Yeah, I saw that.
39:02
Adam
Quick short right cross and pow, he knew.
39:04
Cypress Hill
The gesture of a right cross.
39:06
Adam
Yeah.
39:07
Cypress Hill
He said, he put the...
39:09
Adam
Put a little snap on it. That's his calling card, by the way, for any fans that get out of hand. Get out of line. I've seen him take down a few kids in an airport before.
39:20
Drew
But this is what that is, when people have, are somatically preoccupied, they can't contain anxiety, they get overwhelmed by sensory input from their body, and when they go out into the world to get help, they can't trust anybody.
39:32
Adam
So what happened, Amber? Who beat on you?
39:35
Caller
Um, well, first my dad. Yeah. And then my mom got a divorce from him when I was about four. And then she got remarried and my stepdad beat me too.
39:46
Adam
Oh, boy.
39:46
Caller
And she just recently got married again.
39:49
Adam
And he's getting ready to beat you after the marriage, after the wedding?
39:53
Caller
I have no idea.
39:54
Adam
No, listen, Amber, this is what's going on. And, you know, your mom, I'm sure, was beaten by her dad. That's why she found these two idiots to beat on her.
40:04
Drew
And her daughter.
40:05
Adam
And her daughter. And this is what you got to focus on. You understand?
40:10
Drew
People, people, adult, there are trustworthy adults out there. You have to let them in.
40:14
Adam
You have to let somebody help. You have to talk to somebody. You have to get some therapy, some counseling. You have to deal with this so you don't go through your whole life just sort of reacting to it. Because there's going to be many more needless trips to the hospital.
40:27
Caller
Do you guys know of any, I've heard you talk about free therapy or counseling?
40:37
Drew
You're in Inglewood, California?
40:39
Caller
Colorado.
40:39
Drew
Colorado. Oh my god. I would start with any teaching facilities, universities, anything like that in your area. Just to see if they have any pro-rated or free services.
40:50
Adam
Are you going to school?
40:51
Caller
Yeah, I'm actually, I go to community college.
40:55
Adam
Oh baby. Talk about abuse. That's the real abuse, community college. Some old teachers don't speak any English. You can't understand what's going on.
41:05
Drew
Horrible food.
41:06
Adam
Yeah, that's a mistake. Go into the counseling. If you go to the community college, you go into the library or something, you'll see all those flyers everywhere, all these outreach programs and help. You just get yourself involved with some of that, all right?
41:19
Drew
There you go. All right.
41:20
Adam
All right. Take care of this.
41:21
Drew
All right.
41:21
Adam
Well, Drew, everybody. I wasn't-
41:24
Cypress Hill
He called them.
41:25
Adam
Yeah. Pop. Do the click.
41:28
Do the clock.
41:29
Cypress Hill
No, no.
41:29
Adam
The clock sound.
41:31
Drew
Yeah.
41:32
What the hell?
41:33
Adam
Yeah. Drew knows when someone's been whacked around a little. Drew, you're honing your senses on that. You must be studying or something or at least you're aware of it, or maybe you've been beating your kids.
41:45
Cypress Hill
The force is with them.
41:46
Adam
You've been beating your kids?
41:47
Drew
I think we've had a series of callers that I could tell had not been sexually abused, but clearly had been abused.
41:53
Adam
Physically.
41:53
Drew
I could feel the chaos and so I figure that's got to be physical.
41:55
Adam
So there's abuse here. It's not sexual. Let's do the math. All right. B-Real is here. We're going to take ourselves a little break. When we come back, we'll speak to Fred, girlfriend, orgasms, a torrential flood every time, milky white fluid.
42:10
Caller
Sounds fun.
42:11
Adam
After this.
42:14
Caller
Hello. What is it?
42:15
Drew
This is Loveline.
42:16
Caller
1-800-LOVE-191. Loveline will be right back.
42:40
Adam
Here it is, Loveline, I'm Adam Carolla. That'd be Dr. Drew over there, phone number 1-800-LOVE-191. Jeremy McGrath, a good guy, good friend, and the king of Supercross will be in here tomorrow night. And Drew, I'm telling you, if you ever hold your lily white ass out to one of those Supercross races, you would be blown away.
43:02
Drew
Oh, I'm sure.
43:03
Adam
It's just...
43:05
Drew
I'd be freaked out a little bit.
43:06
Adam
It is really super impressive. I don't care if you ain't interested in it. I don't care if you've never been on a bike a day in your life. You go to one of those races and get down there around the field level and see these guys clearing the triple jumps. And the first one starts, and the next one is a good 8-10 cars away. And these guys are 35 feet in the air each and every lap. They're in the air, man. And while they're 35 feet in the air, their hand is coming off the bar. They're going up to the goggles. They're ripping away that extra piece of plastic they have, you know, that gets dirt on it every once in a while. They're pulling their glove back on. These guys are 35 feet in the air on a motorcycle, and they're sort of taking care of, they use that as a little downtime to like check stuff.
43:52
Cypress Hill
Let me comb my hair right now.
43:54
Adam
Yeah, no, they're looking behind them. They get 35 feet in the air, and they go, well, I'll take this opportunity. I got a couple seconds. I'll look back. I'll see, you know, who's coming up on me, or I'll clean my goggle off, or I'll adjust my glove. They got the hands off the bars. Jeremy McGrath wins the whole thing. He gets 30 feet in the air. He does the can-can where both feet come off the pegs, and they're on one side of the bike. He's got the thing pancake in the air. I mean, it's crazy. There's 55,000 people there, and they're going nuts. I mean, it's really like, it's really quite a spectacle. I'll tell you, there's a lot of sports that you kind of have to be into. You have to know the game. You had to be a fan or maybe crawl...
44:36
Cypress Hill
This one you don't gotta know.
44:37
Adam
No, you don't need to know anything. You could be uptight. You could be not into it. You could not like the sound or the smell, and just go and watch it, and you'll be screaming like a mad man. Be Real is here tonight from Cypress Hill. The National Orange Show in San Bernardino is where the Dragon Festival takes place. That is going on Saturday, 2 o'clock. The gates open, and a lot of bands, including of course, Cypress Hill is going to be there, so go out and check that out. Is there a phone number or website? Is there something? If someone is listening, they want to check, see about getting some tickets, can they get them in advance?
45:15
Cypress Hill
Yeah, they can now log on to www.dragonfestival.net for all the information, and they'll get a chance to see what other groups are playing, like Linkin Park, Jungle Brothers, Cotton Mouth Kings, Taproot, all those guys. It's going to be really good.
45:30
Adam
Oh yeah, Anderson's a big... Isn't Anderson a big... Oh no, no, no. You're not a big Cotton Mouth King guy. Another guy, Big Tad.
45:36
Cypress Hill
Big Tad.
45:37
Adam
Big Tad is in the Cotton Mouth Kings. All right, let's talk to Fred. Fred is 30, what's up?
45:43
Caller
Oh, evening gentlemen.
45:44
Cypress Hill
Hey.
45:45
Caller
My wife and I, well, we've been married for a couple of years now, but once she has an orgasm, she has a discharge. I guess it's like a female ejaculation. And she does it quite a bit with each orgasm. I'm fortunate in the sense that she's multiply orgasmic, but with each orgasm, there's quite a bit of fluid discharged.
46:07
Adam
Each and every one.
46:09
Caller
Each and every one.
46:10
Adam
It isn't less on the third one than it is on the first?
46:13
Caller
No.
46:14
Adam
Really?
46:15
Caller
I was wondering, what is this fluid and where does it come from?
46:18
Adam
Well, it comes from the bowels of hell, and it's semen is what it is.
46:24
Drew
There are multiple glands in that area, just as the man has one big one, the prostate. Women have several glands. There's glands in the wall of the vagina, there's skeins glands, Bartholomew's glands. There's a lot of stuff there to produce fluid.
46:36
Cypress Hill
Now does it pour out or squirt? That's what I want to know.
46:40
Caller
It pretty much pours out.
46:43
Adam
Really? Like ooze?
46:47
Caller
It's funny because just before it happened, you could tell because her whole genital area gets real warm. And then there's the discharge.
46:56
Adam
You know the thing that's so freaky about women is they're all different. I mean we'll talk to a chick tonight who's 35, has never had an orgasm, whose man is on top for doing her every which way. To Sunday she's dry as a bone and cannot enjoy sex. And then we're talking to this one, it's like going to a car wash. I mean how does that work? How many guys are different? You know what I mean? You got some guys that shoot in two minutes and some guys who shoot in 20 minutes. But that's about it. That's the range for guys. And Fred, is this all right with you?
47:35
Caller
Well no, it doesn't bother me. I was just wondering where the fluid came from. I didn't know if it came from the vaginal passage, I mean up inside the...
47:44
Drew
Didn't I just explain?
47:45
Adam
She's got some glands down there.
47:47
Caller
Okay.
47:48
Adam
Look at glands, glands are like little sponges that get squeezed.
47:52
Cypress Hill
She's just full of a lot of love juice.
47:54
Adam
That's it, Fred.
47:55
Cypress Hill
It's up to you to get it out.
47:57
Caller
Okay.
47:58
Adam
Jesus. Yeah. What do you guys do it out on the patio? Put the hose running? I mean, how many times can you flip a mattress?
48:08
Drew
That's what they're working on. I mean, answering that question.
48:10
Adam
Yeah. Honey, tonight we sleep on the side. Sleep on the edge.
48:14
Caller
It's up on its edge.
48:15
Cypress Hill
Put some plastic over the mattress.
48:17
Adam
Oh, man. Put a drain in there like the monkey cage. See, this is my thing. I'd be really turned on and feel gratified the first or second time this happened. I feel like it's an achievement, but 10 years into it, like, come on, stop it. Yeah, like, OK, let me go get the slicker on. You're sitting there, look like the Gordon's Fisherman.
48:40
Cypress Hill
Let me go get the...
48:44
Adam
It's got to be a pain in the ass eventually.
48:46
Cypress Hill
Yeah.
48:47
Adam
It's like, honey, let's go get the chamois. Let's get it on in the car. It's a lease. I got the floor interior. I don't think so. It's kind of... It doesn't got to limit you just a little bit, too. Travis, you're 17. What's up?
49:02
Caller
Yeah, I was just wondering, when I have sex with my girlfriend, I can only perform for like a minute or less. And I was wondering if there was anything I could do about that.
49:12
Cypress Hill
Try not to get so excited.
49:14
Drew
Do it again.
49:15
Cypress Hill
And again and again.
49:16
Adam
Really?
49:17
Caller
That's all?
49:18
Adam
Well, I mean, you want to... What about taking care of yourself before you're with your girlfriend so it doesn't happen so fast?
49:26
Caller
Like what?
49:27
Adam
Oh, you know, pedicure, manicure, take a me date. No, I'm talking about jacking off, you idiot.
49:33
Seriously, that'll help her once.
49:34
Cypress Hill
Or have her do it.
49:35
Caller
Yeah.
49:36
Cypress Hill
And then that will help.
49:37
Adam
Well, I mean, put it this way. If you're having the orgasm within a minute when you're with her, if you took care of yourself a half hour before she came over, don't you think you could add a few minutes to that?
49:50
Caller
Yeah.
49:51
Drew
Or maybe even just adopt the Corolla schedule.
49:54
Adam
Right. You masturbate twice every hour for the rest of your life.
50:00
Drew
Sort of a maintenance schedule, a plumbing maintenance schedule.
50:04
Caller
Right.
50:04
Cypress Hill
Right. A cleaning if you will.
50:06
Adam
Yes. Yes. It's a circulation of semen. Out with the old and in with the new. That's what I say. All right, Travis, this is the kind of thing you have to work out. Because this is your clock. And your clock is a little early. You know what I'm saying? But you're 17, you stay with the same chick, you work out the beats and you'll be fine. All right. All right. Yeah. There's no real magic answer to this one. Is there, Drew?
50:30
Cypress Hill
It's time. It just takes time.
50:33
Adam
Yeah.
50:33
Cypress Hill
He's excited, I think. He's too excited.
50:36
Adam
You got to find your rhythm, stay with the one girl for a while and work out all the kinks. All right. We will take a little break. B-Real is here from Cypress Hill and we'll be back after this.
50:50
Caller
Love Line will be right back. So get your problems ready. Ready.
51:28
Adam
Hit Loveline. Adam Corolla, that's Dr. Drew over there. Phone number, 1-800-ELE-VE-191. B-Real is our guest tonight from the great Cypress Hill, which is gonna be just one of the bands performing at the National Orange Show in San Bernardino. This Saturday, gates open at, or I should say doors open at two o'clock, and this is the Dragon Festival. And get out there and check it out, and then you can say you're at the first one ten years from now.
51:58
Cypress Hill
The first one, yeah.
52:00
Adam
Alright, let's get back to the phone, so speak to Dan. Dan?
52:04
Caller
Yeah, hey.
52:05
Adam
What's up? Adam?
52:06
Caller
I just wanna say, you're like the coolest guy in the world.
52:09
Adam
Great, thank you.
52:11
Caller
Yeah, and Drew, you're pretty cool too.
52:12
Drew
Thank you.
52:13
Caller
Alright, well anyway, my problem is like, when I first started masturbating about four months ago, like, I orgasmed and everything and it was really great. But like, about a month ago, like, I like came and all, but like, it like didn't have the feeling. And it still like, feels good, but I don't have the like great orgasm feeling anymore. I'm just wondering if there's like anything you guys could tell me.
52:38
Adam
Well, you gotta kill yourself.
52:42
Drew
Do I hear you wheezing a little bit or do you have asthma or something?
52:45
Caller
I'm a little sick right now.
52:46
Drew
Are you on a medication?
52:49
Drew
Do you take medications regularly?
52:50
Caller
No.
52:52
Drew
What are you sick with?
52:53
Caller
I don't know. Just the flu.
52:55
Drew
You have fever and cough, that kind of thing.
52:57
Caller
Yeah, just a little cough.
52:59
Adam
You want to give him a vape, vapor rub, Drew? What's up?
53:01
Drew
It just seems like that, you know, a guy that age has a sudden, significant change in their experience of orgasm. You think about something biological.
53:09
Adam
Dan?
53:10
Drew
Yeah?
53:11
Adam
You say it's been bad for how long?
53:13
Caller
Oh, about a month.
53:15
Adam
I see. And what if you gave it a few days?
53:18
Caller
Oh, yeah, I tried that because I heard you telling other callers that. Yeah. And I thought for about four days and then... Nothing, huh? Yeah.
53:27
Adam
Maybe you need a new batch of porn.
53:30
Caller
Well, I tried that.
53:31
Drew
Have you been depressed?
53:33
Caller
Not really.
53:34
Adam
You know, I'd like to, I'd really... When I'm in charge, I like to get a sort of international porn rotation going because old porn is new porn to new eyes. You know what I mean? Maybe that will be my slogan.
53:47
Drew
We'll call it the International House of Porn. It will be the IHOP.
53:49
Adam
Yeah. Well, they have all these programs which is donate your reading glasses to people who need it, donate your clothing, your shoes, your old cars, you know, that kind of thing. What about your porn?
53:58
Drew
Get a write-off, yeah.
53:59
Adam
Recycle the porn, people. What I'm saying is there's something probably in B-Real's collection that's just gathering dust, that he's...
54:08
Cypress Hill
Funny enough, I don't even have a collection.
54:09
Adam
Oh, really? Well, then I strike that from the record.
54:13
Drew
That's all the pod to worry about.
54:14
Adam
The point is, I got some stuff in my collection that I haven't looked at in years, and I'm sure some young kids would love to get their greasy paws on. By the same token, I'm sure there's stuff sitting around other people's houses. I'd love to get my grimy paws on. And if we could just connect, maybe that's what the Internet's for, Drew.
54:31
Drew
Yeah. I'm just thinking like the kinds of like toys for tots type drives.
54:35
Yeah, that kind of thing.
54:37
Adam
You know, we get the marines come around each year with a big sack. You put your unwanted porn into it. They drop it off in my garage. And I see I am in charge of distribution. I sort it out. I make the us and them pile. Seriously, have you ever gone for a porn swap, Drew? You ever do that? No. No, B-Real? You never done that?
54:59
Cypress Hill
I mean, people give it to me all the time, but I always end up giving it to Bobo. You know, so I can't swap with anybody. I don't have any.
55:08
Adam
Where is Bobo? We've never seen him, we've never seen you in here without him.
55:13
Cypress Hill
He's, I believe, working with Mugs right now in the studio. They're working on some other group Mugs is producing right now, and I think he's playing drums or something.
55:21
Adam
Well, give him our love when you see him.
55:23
Cypress Hill
Yeah, he usually would be here. That's right.
55:25
Adam
We miss him. Dan?
55:27
Yeah.
55:28
Adam
I'm hoping this is a phase. Maybe you just need to fall in love.
55:34
Drew
I'll try that.
55:34
Adam
Maybe you need to find yourself a good woman and breathe a little new life in your penis.
55:40
Drew
Pay attention to how you're feeling physically too. Make sure you eat right, get enough sleep, exercise regularly.
55:45
Cypress Hill
Yeah, because when you're pleasing yourself, it's all too mechanical.
55:48
Adam
Yeah, you need to fall in love. They're not all tens, by the way, either.
55:53
Drew
Yeah, but that feeling of not being satisfied, but not having an orgasm feel normal, you know, feel as intense as it normally does at that age. You think about something.
56:02
Adam
Depression?
56:04
Drew
Yeah, something, medication, depression, something. There's some illnesses that can do this too.
56:09
Cypress Hill
The thing that would depress me is if the chick couldn't get me off. That would depress me more than me not getting myself off.
56:15
Adam
Get your money back then. Carly?
56:18
Cypress Hill
Yes?
56:19
Adam
You're 20.
56:20
Caller
Yes.
56:20
Adam
What's up?
56:21
Caller
Well, I have a bit of a problem with rampant breast growth.
56:27
Caller
Yes.
56:28
Caller
In the past 8 months, I've gone from a 32B to a 34C. I have not gained any weight. I am not pregnant. I'm not on any medications. I'm totally done with puberty.
56:40
Drew
Why is that rampant? It's one cup size.
56:44
Caller
It's just that...
56:45
Drew
Some women vary that much month to month. You know, their period.
56:48
Caller
Well, yeah, but this has never happened before.
56:50
Adam
Yeah, well, you're 20. There's a lot of stuff that hasn't happened before.
56:53
Cypress Hill
Some people pay for that.
56:55
Drew
Yeah. And your back has increased in size, too. You went from a 32 to a 34. What, have you gained some weight?
57:03
Caller
No, I haven't. I've been about 130 pounds since I was about 13.
57:09
Drew
Are you working out or anything?
57:10
Caller
No, I'm not. My lifestyle hasn't even really changed that much. And also, I was kind of wondering what I could do to keep him from sagging now.
57:19
Drew
No medication, anything like that you're taking?
57:21
Caller
No.
57:22
Adam
Maybe you're pregnant.
57:23
Caller
No, I'm most definitely not pregnant.
57:25
Drew
You're not on the birth control, pal.
57:27
Caller
Well, I am, but I have been on the same prescription for the past four years.
57:31
Drew
You sure they haven't changed it in any way?
57:33
Caller
I'm positive they haven't changed it in any way.
57:35
Which pill are you on?
57:36
Caller
Orthotrycyclone.
57:38
Caller
All right. Hmm.
57:40
Adam
Hey, Carly?
57:41
Caller
Yes?
57:42
Adam
Yeah, we don't have any answers for this. It doesn't sound that bad.
57:45
Drew
No, at some moment, the breasts grow suddenly up to 21, 22 years of age. Yeah, that can happen.
57:50
Cypress Hill
I'm sure your boyfriend would be happy about that.
57:53
Drew
Yeah, it can be normal.
57:53
Adam
I'm still waiting for my penis to make its move. Any day now.
57:58
Drew
It's got his growth spurt.
57:59
Adam
Yeah, I mean, it can go past 36, can't it?
58:02
Cypress Hill
You know they have devices for that now, Adam.
58:04
Adam
Do they?
58:05
Cypress Hill
Yeah.
58:05
Adam
You don't look into those. All right, if you leave them on, you get some real width. All right. Alicia? Uh-oh. You're 15. What's up?
58:16
Caller
Um, okay, me and my sister, we constantly, constantly get into fights. I mean, fist fighting and my, it's kind of jive with my mom nuts.
58:28
Cypress Hill
I like that cell phone.
58:29
Caller
Right.
58:30
Caller
Oh, hold on. And it's like, we fight for dumb reasons.
58:35
Caller
All right.
58:36
Adam
Is she older or younger?
58:37
Caller
She's very older than me.
58:40
Adam
How old is she?
58:40
Caller
She's 21.
58:42
Adam
Shouldn't she be moving out of the house by now?
58:44
Caller
That's what I told her.
58:45
Adam
Last time you socked her?
58:48
Caller
It's hard because she has a nephew. Well, she has a baby.
58:52
Adam
I see.
58:53
Drew
The baby is her nephew?
58:55
Caller
No, it's her baby.
58:57
Drew
It's your nephew.
58:59
Adam
Right.
58:59
Caller
And it's like when we fight, she tries to take the baby away from me.
59:03
Adam
Well, it's her kid, right?
59:05
Caller
No, it's like, it's like, she tells me like not to touch him, not to like, that's my nephew.
59:10
Drew
Yeah, it's her kid. She's the mom.
59:12
Caller
I know. It's like, like, for instance, yesterday we got really, really into it. And like, I landed on my, kind of like on my, my, um, how do they call it?
59:23
Adam
Ass?
59:24
Caller
No.
59:25
Adam
No.
59:25
Caller
Okay.
59:26
Adam
Hey, Alicia. Uh, why don't you pop out a quick kid of your own and then you'd have something to talk about.
59:32
Caller
No, no, no, no, no.
59:33
Adam
I see.
59:34
Caller
I don't need kids.
59:35
Adam
All right. Well, listen, is, where's your dad? Is he not around?
59:38
Caller
No, he left.
59:39
Adam
He's left. So it's just a bunch of crazy broads over there running the asylum, right?
59:44
Caller
Yeah.
59:45
Adam
All right. And your mom has got her hands full.
59:48
Caller
Yeah. Well, she has her hands full with us.
59:51
Adam
I see. But Alicia, listen, you seem to know what's going on. You seem to be more mature than your sister's 21. Where's her man?
1:00:01
Caller
Actually, he's in the Navy.
1:00:04
Drew
That child is hers. She's the mom.
1:00:07
Caller
Yeah.
1:00:08
Drew
Yeah. That's it. She's in charge.
1:00:10
Adam
Are you a little bit? Well, I don't know how to phrase this without you getting defensive about it. But I mean, do you not like the fact that she has the kid and that she gets the attention and that kind of thing?
1:00:20
Caller
Oh, no. It's not that. It's just like she's always at school and she's always at work. So I'm the one that watches him because I have home studies. And it's like I'm very, very close to him. So when she gets mad, it takes him from me.
1:00:39
Adam
Well, listen, you have all that time with your wonderful nephew while she's doing all the things instead of being a mom to him. And then when she comes home, you turn him over to her. I mean, here's the deal. Your sister's a little naughty. It's a little boy, right? Yeah, it's a little boy. All right, well, you'll be able to visit him in prison in a few years, so that's nice. Dad's off at the Navy. Mom's got her hands full. Why don't you just focus on being a 15-year-old, getting involved with stuff at school, you know, getting ready to go off to college. Don't be 21 and living at home with your kid, like your sister. Well, I mean, you're going to have to be the mature one even though you're the young one. Because even though she's mature in years, you're more mature emotionally.
1:01:28
Cypress Hill
Yeah, just learn from her mistakes.
1:01:30
Adam
Right. You're going to have to be the adult here, Alicia. And all this fighting in front of the kid is not going to be good for him at all.
1:01:37
Drew
Bad for the kid.
1:01:38
Adam
You understand?
1:01:39
Caller
That's exactly what I try to tell her.
1:01:41
Adam
I know, while you're beating on her with a lamp.
1:01:43
Caller
No, I don't hit her. She hits me.
1:01:45
Adam
Okay. But listen, don't get into it with her.
1:01:48
Drew
Think about why Alicia is in home study.
1:01:51
Cypress Hill
She's older than you. She's already feeling like, why are you telling her anything? I don't know.
1:01:55
Drew
Alicia is the adult here.
1:01:56
Adam
Why are you in home study, Alicia?
1:01:59
Caller
It's because I'm moving right now. And my mom, the school put me on home study for a while.
1:02:06
Adam
Because you're moving?
1:02:07
Drew
Why are you in home study?
1:02:09
Caller
I don't know. It's because the school that I'm supposed to be transferred into, it's full right now. So they put me into home studies.
1:02:16
Adam
Why can't you just continue going to the school you were going to?
1:02:19
Caller
Because when I moved, they transferred me into the new school.
1:02:23
Adam
Oh, you moved already?
1:02:24
Caller
Yeah.
1:02:25
Adam
And there's no room in the new school?
1:02:26
Caller
There's no room until someone either gets kicked out or something.
1:02:30
Adam
What are you doing home study?
1:02:33
Caller
I get homework that lasts me for a week.
1:02:36
Adam
Were you a troublemaker at school?
1:02:38
Caller
No. Huh? No.
1:02:40
Cypress Hill
No?
1:02:40
Adam
Getting some fights?
1:02:42
Cypress Hill
No.
1:02:44
Adam
I don't fight.
1:02:44
Drew
You don't fight.
1:02:46
Caller
Well, my sister's different.
1:02:47
Adam
Sure, she's blood. You gotta kick some ass. Alright, listen. You sound alright. You just gotta be more mature than your older sister.
1:02:57
Cypress Hill
Not be so territorial with her kid. Right.
1:03:00
Adam
Okay? Alright. Hey, I wish they had that when I was in school. Home study? Hey, we're full. Sorry.
1:03:07
Cypress Hill
Stay home.
1:03:08
Adam
We'll see.
1:03:08
Cypress Hill
A lot of people had babies.
1:03:11
Adam
I guess they filled them up pretty quick.
1:03:14
Drew
You have gotten about as much done at home study as you did.
1:03:16
Adam
Well, at least I would have known more about TV.
1:03:21
Drew
By the way, didn't you have home study? I mean, your home was right across the street from school. You didn't actually go, occasionally go across the street, I guess, but.
1:03:27
Adam
Yeah, I did cut a lot of classes and I always lived across. I lived across the street from my elementary school, and then I moved later and I ended up living across the street from my high school. That's a bad scene, by the way.
1:03:41
Drew
Of all the things you complained about your parents for, you've never complained about their ability to pick prime real estate.
1:03:46
Adam
First off, all the houses around the public schools, those ones you smoke out on the lawn and stuff, that was my house. Then my room became the place that all the guys who were getting laid, they'd all bang their girlfriends over at my house, and they'd come over to my house and eat. You know, my house. One time...
1:04:05
Cypress Hill
It was the safe haven.
1:04:06
Adam
Yeah. It was like a mini crack house. It wasn't any crack. It was a crack house without the crack.
1:04:14
Drew
One time what?
1:04:15
Adam
One time my two big buddies, Chris and Ray, tried to drag me naked out into the street while the entire school was letting out. I don't know how that worked, but I took on the power of ten men and them.
1:04:29
Caller
You want to know about strength?
1:04:30
Adam
You want to know about strength? Two guys that are like 225 pounds and strong as oxes trying to drag my naked ass into the front yards so the entire school can see me and I took on the powers like Shazam.
1:04:43
Cypress Hill
It's amazing what a person can do in the face of humility.
1:04:47
Adam
Oh, man. There was no way my naked ass was going to go. Plus, it would not only be my naked ass, it would be my wrestling, cheek spread, nut swinging ass. Not just staying in there naked, I mean, cheek spread.
1:05:02
Drew
How did you get them to sort of let down? Those two would go on all night.
1:05:07
Adam
I fought like a goddamn marlin.
1:05:09
Drew
Did you beat them up or something?
1:05:10
Adam
Yeah, I was punched them. I was dragging them. They were dragging me down the driveway. I was barefoot. I don't know what the hell.
1:05:17
You were sick, probably.
1:05:18
I don't know.
1:05:18
Adam
I was taking a cramp or something. They dragged me out of the bathroom. They said, school's letting out, buddy.
1:05:25
It's time.
1:05:26
Adam
It's time. It's time you get to know the senior class. Oh, yeah, that was bad. That was bad. Tony?
1:05:34
Caller
Hey, what's up, Suzy?
1:05:35
Adam
You're 15. What's up?
1:05:36
Caller
Hey, I actually made up my question because she wouldn't take my real one.
1:05:40
Adam
All right.
1:05:40
Drew
What's the real one?
1:05:41
Caller
My real one is this girl at school that I really like and want to ask out, but I haven't had too much luck with asking girls out. I've asked five girls out in the past and I've been rejected four times.
1:05:51
Drew
You know what? God bless you for getting up to the plate and swinging. I could not have done that at 15. I know. I could not have done it. There will be dividends for your effort.
1:06:00
Cypress Hill
You'll get better at it.
1:06:02
Drew
You may not get the date, but someday this will pay dividends.
1:06:06
Adam
What is your tactic, Tony? What's your approach?
1:06:11
Caller
I've actually been rejected three times, and one girl that said yes, dumped me two days later.
1:06:16
Cypress Hill
How old are you?
1:06:17
Drew
You went on a girlfriend. You just went on a date.
1:06:19
Adam
Yeah. How old are you? 15.
1:06:21
Cypress Hill
15. You know what? Let me tell you something, man. When I was 15, I couldn't get a date either. When I was 22, I landed the hottest chick in America. So do your thing.
1:06:33
Drew
Could you even have asked someone out of 15?
1:06:35
Cypress Hill
No. I was kind of quiet and I couldn't do it. Yeah.
1:06:40
Adam
I couldn't do it either.
1:06:41
Drew
Lame.
1:06:42
Cypress Hill
Yeah.
1:06:42
Adam
I was too busy fighting off my friends. I was being naked.
1:06:45
Cypress Hill
I mean, I did get laid for the first time when I was 15, but I mean, it was a stroke of luck. I just met the right person at the right time.
1:06:54
Adam
Serendipity. Hey, Tony, what do you do? You go up to the girl, what do you say?
1:06:59
Caller
Well, three times that I've been rejected, I asked them out over the phone, and then the two that said yes, I asked them out in person.
1:07:06
Drew
All right, well, they've learned something.
1:07:07
Caller
Yeah.
1:07:08
Adam
Are these girls in your league or are they out of your league?
1:07:11
Caller
No, they're all in my grade.
1:07:12
Drew
Yeah. In your grade.
1:07:14
Adam
League.
1:07:14
There's a difference.
1:07:16
Drew
It's hard to judge that.
1:07:17
Cypress Hill
Did you ask the popular girl in school or did you ask like, you know, just the plain Jane regular chick?
1:07:23
Both.
1:07:23
Cypress Hill
Oh, well, are you a popular guy? What? Are you a popular guy in school?
1:07:28
Caller
Kind of medium. Not real popular, but not like.
1:07:32
Cypress Hill
Well, that's why you didn't get the popular chick.
1:07:34
Caller
Yeah.
1:07:34
Adam
Yeah, you got to aim for the ground.
1:07:36
Caller
Yeah.
1:07:37
Adam
Find the fat chick who's crying and ask her out. Now, listen, Tony. Yeah. We don't, none of us are worried about you because it's the ability to go up and ask. That's the most important part, not the results. Not at this point.
1:07:53
Caller
Is there any like, I don't know, like technique or something that would?
1:07:57
Adam
You see ether rag and duct tape technique I use later.
1:08:00
Drew
Make sure you figure out something that they like to do. Right. Or move it they want to see, something you know they're interested in. If they're the slightest bit interested in you, they'll get right on you.
1:08:13
Adam
Yes. It's time to give this speech. It's been a little while.
1:08:15
Cypress Hill
You just got to be a little confident and don't go showing that you're too interested man because they get freaked out.
1:08:22
Drew
Adam has a good speech on this one.
1:08:23
Adam
You don't have to actually ask them out. You can kind of test the waters. You can say this. I don't know what movie is coming out in the theater this week.
1:08:33
Drew
What women want.
1:08:34
Adam
Something out. That's been out for too much.
1:08:36
Drew
That's something that women want.
1:08:37
Adam
All right. Here's the point. You pick a movie. You go up to the girl and you go. You don't learn this stuff when you're young. But you go up to the girl and you go, What's going on? What are you doing this weekend? She'll go, Nothing or this or that. Now, right there, if she don't like you and don't want you to ask her out, she'll give you a laundry list of stuff she's doing. If she says, Nothing, just hanging out. Now, she's left an opening. She's left an door open. You bring up a movie. You go, Yeah, you know that movie, What Women Want, that Mel Gibson movie? Yeah. It seems pretty funny. I've been seeing the commercial. I'm thinking about seeing it. I'm thinking about checking that out. Now, if they want you to ask them out, they'll go, Yeah, I haven't seen that. Yeah, I've been wanting to see that too.
1:09:22
Drew
I love Mel Gibson.
1:09:23
Adam
I'm a big fan of Mel Gibson. I saw his commercial.
1:09:26
Cypress Hill
I heard it was a good movie.
1:09:27
Adam
Yeah, or if they're really into you, they'll go, You know what? I saw it and it's good. I want to see it again.
1:09:33
Cypress Hill
I want to see it again. Yeah.
1:09:35
Adam
You hear anything like that, you're in.
1:09:37
Cypress Hill
Take notes out there, young people.
1:09:38
Adam
They're opening the gate and rolling out the red carpet. But if you bring that movie up and you get, Yeah, I don't know. I don't like movies. I got to study, I got to do this.
1:09:49
Cypress Hill
Yeah.
1:09:50
Adam
I saw it, it sucked or I don't agree with it or I don't want to stop. Then just stop and go, Yeah, all right. Then you can walk away and you've asked them out without asking them out.
1:10:00
Drew
You can even make another swing such as, what do you like doing? Just shoot that. I'm going to get some coffee. They don't respond at all. Just forget it.
1:10:08
Adam
Yeah.
1:10:08
Drew
Forget it.
1:10:10
Adam
You do little feelers. You'll do stuff like this. If you go, you bring up something. Like if you go, yeah, I'm going to go out.
1:10:18
Cypress Hill
I don't know.
1:10:18
Adam
I'm going bowling this weekend. If they go, hey, I used to go bowling. I haven't done that in a while.
1:10:24
Cypress Hill
That's fun.
1:10:25
Drew
I love bowling.
1:10:25
Adam
Then they're into you. And if they go, that's just for fat old white guys, then they ain't.
1:10:31
Cypress Hill
You just got to know what to listen for.
1:10:33
Adam
Yes. You'll hear. It's like you're a salesman.
1:10:36
Cypress Hill
Yeah.
1:10:36
Adam
And you just start dropping these little things. And when women, women will not ask guys out, but they'll do everything but ask a guy out. And they'll leave stuff wide open. And anything you talk about, if a chick's into you, she'll try to include herself in there. You start talking about, you start down about having a car, like a new car, one to take you. Oh, she'll be like, I want to check that. I've never been in one of those.
1:11:02
Drew
They're really into it. Hey, I'm shipping off for Beirut tomorrow. I'll be rude. I've always wanted to see you do it. What kind of boat you going on?
1:11:09
Adam
Yeah. They will take interest in you. The second way you know if a chick's into you, like if you're talking to a chick and you're at a party and you're just standing around and you have that initial, how's it going? Yeah, it's good. Yeah, good party. Who do you know over here? Have that. Then there's that little lull for a second where you run out of conversation, you're just standing. If she continues just to keep standing there, she don't leave. You're just standing there. You're okay. She just waits to lull out until you pick up another conversation, she's in.
1:11:37
Drew
Or she might walk away to get it, refill her drink or something, but give you the long.
1:11:43
Adam
Yes, if she comes with you or does any hand thing. See, here's the one, B-Real, not that you need any coaching, but a lot of guys don't know this. When a woman ain't into you, she won't touch you. She won't get near you. If you hug her, it's like hugging an ironing board. You know? But if a woman likes you, she'll make excuses to touch you. I don't mean put her hand down your pants. That comes later.
1:12:06
Cypress Hill
Little massages.
1:12:08
Adam
She'll go, oh, you're so funny. And when they drag. They won't go, you're so funny, and go like that.
1:12:14
Caller
They'll go, you are so funny.
1:12:16
Cypress Hill
They're trying to prolong the touch.
1:12:17
Adam
Yes. Even if you shake their hand, they'll drag it just a little bit. You never shook hands with a guy, did the drag.
1:12:24
Cypress Hill
Yeah. If you're shaking hands with a chick and it takes her a while to let go of the handshake.
1:12:29
Adam
And you get just that little finger drag down the palm just to prolong it, just another beat. That's how you know.
1:12:38
Cypress Hill
For sure.
1:12:38
Adam
All right. We're all in the chord here.
1:12:41
Caller
All right.
1:12:41
Adam
Let's jack off.
1:12:42
Caller
We'll take a break.
1:12:45
Adam
We'll be back with B-Real after this. It's Loveline, I'm Adam. Drew is coming in here in just a second. Be Real is here from Cypress Hill. The Dragon Festival is going on this Saturday, National Orange Show in San Bernardino. Doors open at 2. Don't be late. Don't miss it. Lots of bands playing there, Cottonmouth Kings and Lincoln Park, and just a whole bunch of good stuff. Be Real is going to do a set with Cypress Hill and then a little special guest set, too.
1:13:52
Cypress Hill
Well, I'm actually doing just a set with AK-1200. I'm going to do some Cypress Hill songs, but a different musical arrangement, so it's going to be different.
1:14:03
Adam
All right. So don't miss it and say you're there at the first Dragon Festival again this Saturday. All right. Let's talk to Laura who's 28. Laura?
1:14:15
Caller
Yes. I have about 14 moles that are turning black. They're turning dark. They look like they have a scab on them. Is that bad?
1:14:27
Drew
Why don't you have them looked at?
1:14:28
Caller
Well, because I had one when I was 18 that was doing the same thing and they removed it. There was nothing wrong with it. I've got a scar from it. It's right underneath where my bra is on the bottom.
1:14:42
Drew
That's where I have them all. Why are they scabbing? Are you scratching them?
1:14:45
Caller
No, not even touching them. They just look like they have black. I think they're getting dark on the top, on the very top of them.
1:14:53
Drew
Again, just to understand what things you should be looking out for. Any scalloped border, anything looks like it has a bite out of the edge of it, like a new mescaloped.
1:15:02
Adam
Yeah, why are you looking for that?
1:15:04
Drew
Those are melanomas, or irregular borders, diffused border, the colors red, white, or blue in it. Any change in size needs to be looked at right away. So, get them checked out. There's no way you could evaluate them over the radio.
1:15:17
Adam
Don't they say that if you have a certain amount of those on your body, you're more prone to cancer, skin cancer? Wasn't there some sort of quotient for that, or evaluation for that, if you had X amount of moles? Or, is it moles?
1:15:34
Drew
Not that I'm aware of. There's a dysplastic nevus syndrome, which is a certain kind of...
1:15:38
Adam
Well, sure, the dysplastic nevus syndrome. But, that's it. We have the DN syndrome. Sure. We're all aware of that. Be real in that. We're talking about that during the break.
1:15:47
Cypress Hill
We were just having a conversation about that.
1:15:49
Adam
Right. Right. Sure. So, you shouldn't have them taken care of unless they need taken care of. Taking care of.
1:15:57
Drew
German charlengists can usually tell whether they need to be biopsy or not.
1:16:00
Adam
All right. I don't know. I don't know what I'm getting at. You know what I'm getting at?
1:16:04
Drew
You're going to get it at the next call.
1:16:05
Adam
You know what I'm saying? If you have a certain amount. I don't have any moles on my body. But, if you're someone who has a bunch of them, are you at a higher risk than I am for anything? Do you know what I'm saying?
1:16:18
Drew
I mean, you're higher risk in that you have something to be looked at.
1:16:21
Adam
Yes, but that's it. And what's that say about you having a bunch of moles?
1:16:26
Drew
Nothing.
1:16:26
Adam
Just a hereditary thing.
1:16:28
Drew
Yeah.
1:16:28
Adam
All right. Let's talk to Steve. Steve?
1:16:32
Yeah.
1:16:33
Adam
You're 30. What's up?
1:16:35
Caller
Well, last month, I came home and I didn't want to wake my wife up. I left the lights out and I went to brush my teeth. I brushed my teeth with her vagin-fill.
1:16:45
Drew
Nice. When my kids were babies, I brushed my teeth with Desitin.
1:16:50
Adam
The diaper stuff?
1:16:51
Drew
Oh, yeah.
1:16:52
Adam
I brushed my teeth with Vagin-fill too.
1:16:54
Drew
Oh, yeah?
1:16:54
Adam
Yeah. My sisters.
1:16:56
Caller
Nice.
1:16:57
Cypress Hill
Yeah. Somehow, I think you did that on purpose though.
1:16:59
Adam
Yeah. It was as close as I got to Puntay.
1:17:02
Caller
You know, it was an accident.
1:17:04
Caller
I basically thought it was the Rembrandt.
1:17:07
Cypress Hill
Right.
1:17:07
Drew
What's your question?
1:17:09
Caller
What's that?
1:17:09
Drew
What's your question?
1:17:10
Caller
Well, my question is, is there any medicinal value in it, I guess? I mean, am I going to? Sure.
1:17:16
Adam
You'll not get a yeast infection in your mouth for many months. You're fine, you idiot. Okay. All right. All right. Bye. Yeah. My sister stole the... By the way, it's a bad sign when your family has one tube of toothpaste and you have to go searching for it, you know, but we had one tube of toothpaste and my sister used to like it.
1:17:35
Drew
You suffered.
1:17:36
Adam
One tube of toothpaste. Why? It was bad times. We had to get by with one tube. I think my sister, I don't know if she like smoked pot at school and wanted to take the toothpaste with her to hide her breath or whatever it was, but the toothpaste, the one tube was in her purse. And so I came into the bathroom and I was like, hey, Lauren, where's the toothpaste? Would you take this? It's in my purse. I reached into the purse, wasn't even looking, grabbed the first thing that came in a tube, filled the brush with it. And the great thing about the human mind is you refuse to believe it because you've decided it was toothpaste. It's going to take a lot to extinguish that thought. Yeah, you're going. Yeah, I'm brushing, I'm thinking, Jesus Christ, I don't know what, my mom's been to the health food store again, getting this crap. What is this crap? I'm brushing, I'm thinking, listen, no more with this. We're getting some god damn crest if it kills me. And then I'm starting to think, wait a minute, man, there's just no way. I don't care if this thing don't have any, you know, if it's all organic.
1:18:34
Cypress Hill
Is it white pasty?
1:18:35
Adam
Yeah, it's just white paste. I'm brushing my teeth. I'm thinking, this can't be good. There's something's up with this. I got to read this toothpaste thing in a sure enough Vagisil. Wow. Yeah, then it was like that Fred Sanford heart attack.
1:18:48
Caller
Oh, Christ, I'm dying.
1:18:51
Drew
It's a big one, Elizabeth.
1:18:52
Adam
I'm coming, Elizabeth. Crasher, you're 21.
1:18:57
Caller
That's right.
1:18:57
Adam
What's up?
1:18:59
Caller
Well, I have trouble sleeping. I've always had that, you know, kind of tired during the day. And then when it comes time to sleep, I can't sleep for anything.
1:19:07
Adam
Sure.
1:19:08
Caller
And one thing that I've noticed that happens once in a while is I'll have weird things when sleep does come around. Like one thing is I woke up one day and I was just staring at the bunk above me. And I started hearing voices in my head.
1:19:25
Adam
Well, maybe that was your cellmate talking in his sleep.
1:19:29
Caller
No, it was just a very small, small apartment.
1:19:33
Adam
I see.
1:19:34
Caller
But yeah, I started hearing them and I thought that was the strangest thing in the world. And I always thought that people just imagined that they heard them when they heard them. And then I figured it was just something like dreaming because I lucid dream whenever I realize I'm dreaming. And then I figured, okay, if I concentrate really hard, I make them say what I want them to and I did. And then eventually they went away and I thought that was kind of weird. And then there's been other times where I'll be conscious and then I'll feel my body kind of start to shut down and almost kind of like you're paralyzed and like something's pushing down on me.
1:20:05
Drew
Do you do drugs?
1:20:06
Caller
No.
1:20:07
Drew
You ever had a seizure?
1:20:09
Caller
Not to my knowledge. I've never been medically evaluated for anything like that.
1:20:12
Drew
Are you on any medication?
1:20:13
Caller
No.
1:20:14
Drew
Well, you're just describing sleep disorder, sleep disturbances, and whether or not there's any seizure component to this or something more serious, you need to see somebody to have that checked out. But those sort of night terrors where you're locked in and can't move and even sort of hallucinatory episodes which really kind of dreamed episodes because you're profoundly sleep deprived most of the time.
1:20:35
Caller
Yeah. I was thinking I had something to do with the insomnia.
1:20:38
Drew
Yeah. So you need this all checked out to see if it can be treated.
1:20:41
Caller
Now, once in a while when I just really need to sleep and it just bothered me, I take this stuff that you can buy over the counter called Simply Sleep. I don't know if you heard of it.
1:20:49
Drew
What's in it?
1:20:50
Caller
It's called HCI in it. It's made by Tylenol. HCI? HCI, that's the initials for the drug counter.
1:20:56
Adam
What's that do for you?
1:20:58
Caller
It just makes me feel tired and I'm able to go to sleep.
1:21:01
Drew
You can't read for me what HCI stands for?
1:21:04
Caller
I can go get it.
1:21:05
Adam
Yeah. Well, why don't you just take that, then?
1:21:07
Caller
I take it now and again, but I don't want to keep taking the same thing over and over.
1:21:11
Drew
It's not HCI. It's HCL. It's something hydrochloride. Something like Ben...
1:21:19
Caller
All right.
1:21:19
Drew
Let's see where it is.
1:21:21
Adam
Anyway.
1:21:22
Drew
It's probably just Benadryl is all it is.
1:21:25
Caller
Yeah, pretty much.
1:21:25
Drew
Yeah, it's Benadryl. All right.
1:21:27
Adam
Hey, Drew, let me ask you. Sometimes I'll pop three of those things, try to give myself a little kick, and it ends up working the other way around.
1:21:33
Drew
Benadryl?
1:21:35
Adam
Whatever those things don't have in them.
1:21:37
Drew
You take too much and it will jack you up.
1:21:39
Adam
What is that?
1:21:40
Drew
You're now in overdose.
1:21:41
Adam
How am I going to OD? Yeah, I mean, what's up?
1:21:45
Drew
You're getting an anticholinergic delirium. You can really get jacked up from this.
1:21:49
Cypress Hill
Anticholinergic delirium?
1:21:51
Drew
Cholinergic.
1:21:52
Cypress Hill
Cholinergic.
1:21:53
Adam
But what I mean is if one gets you a little bit drowsy and two makes you a little more tired, then why doesn't three really knock you down?
1:22:02
Drew
Because that's when it stops. That's as tired as you're going to get from that medicine.
1:22:05
Adam
Yeah. So I don't dig that.
1:22:07
Drew
You start getting, I'm sorry you don't dig medicines that when you take more you don't get a larger effect. There are some medicines that you can get large and larger effects, but the dose at which you have lethality, death, doesn't change.
1:22:21
Adam
Really?
1:22:22
Drew
Yeah.
1:22:22
Adam
So you mean there's no difference between 3 and 13 or something like that with some?
1:22:26
Drew
I can describe that to you. The point being that you could easily, you could keep on going and you could need more and more to get more effect with time, but the lethal dose doesn't become, doesn't start going up with.
1:22:36
Adam
So your body builds a tolerance up to it, but it still will kill you at 10.
1:22:39
Drew
Right.
1:22:41
Cypress Hill
So you're not immune to it, you never become immune to it. You tolerate it, but don't become immune to it.
1:22:46
Drew
You become immune to the sedating effects, that's that class of medicine that does it, but you don't become immune to its lethal effects.
1:22:53
Adam
Make me a little chart I can put on my fridge for those ones.
1:22:56
Drew
I wish I would like to.
1:22:57
Adam
So I go and the show is going with me.
1:23:00
Caller
Where to go and where to stop?
1:23:01
Adam
Let's get one of those Zephyr lines put into hell, so I can keep doing the show. Where's Adam? He's in hell. He's doing the show, Dr. Drew, yeah, I'm down here.
1:23:12
Caller
It's hot as hell.
1:23:13
Adam
It's hot. All right, tonight's guest, Hitler. John?
1:23:18
Caller
Hello?
1:23:18
Adam
You're 16.
1:23:19
Caller
Yes.
1:23:20
Adam
What's up?
1:23:21
Caller
All right, I've been with my girlfriend for four months now. And last week I found out that she's bisexual. And now she tells me that she wants to bring in a third person, which is a girl, into the relationship. Not exactly the intercourse, but the relationship.
1:23:35
Drew
Yeah, she's telling you she was done with the relationship is what she's telling you.
1:23:38
Adam
What do you mean, into the relationship?
1:23:40
Caller
Well, because we never had actual intercourse, she means like as in like three people relationship. I don't really understand.
1:23:47
Cypress Hill
She's kicking you out slowly but surely.
1:23:50
Drew
If she isn't overtly kicking you out, she's at least creating enough sabotage and chaos to push you out.
1:23:55
Caller
Yeah, because when I listen to your show and whenever a person, whenever you say whenever three people have a threesome and a couple lets in another person, usually the relationship between the two is over.
1:24:06
Drew
You bet. Well, not over but it just doesn't survive. All right.
1:24:10
Adam
But John, you got to figure out a way to have sex with both of them before this thing ends.
1:24:14
Cypress Hill
Yeah, before it ends.
1:24:16
Adam
It's not your theory.
1:24:18
Drew
That's Adam's theory, yes.
1:24:19
Caller
Have fun while it lasts.
1:24:21
Adam
Well, listen, what's that? What is it? You got a little stuttering thing going? You all right there, John?
1:24:27
Caller
Yeah.
1:24:27
Adam
You stutter?
1:24:28
Caller
Yeah. It's not a big problem but it happens.
1:24:32
Adam
You all right? They can do stuff with that now, can't they?
1:24:35
Drew
There's a lot of therapies for it, yeah.
1:24:37
Caller
All right.
1:24:37
Adam
Hey, John? Yeah. Here's the deal.
1:24:41
Drew
Yeah.
1:24:42
Adam
Your girlfriend's a little chaotic, right?
1:24:44
Caller
Yeah.
1:24:44
Adam
She's probably looking to put an end to this thing. Well, yeah.
1:24:48
Caller
We've been for four months and we haven't talked for that much.
1:24:52
Adam
It's going to end anyway, if not already. So why don't you see if you can't have sex with two women before it ends?
1:25:00
Drew
It doesn't sound like John's agenda.
1:25:02
Adam
Give you something to pleasure yourself to during the long, dry, dry winter.
1:25:07
Cypress Hill
The dry season, the drought.
1:25:09
Adam
The drought that's about to befall your penis. Yeah. You know it's over, right John? Yeah. This is chaotic and this whole thing about she wants to have the third girl come into the relationship, but not into the bedroom.
1:25:22
Caller
Well, that's just to instigate trouble.
1:25:24
Cypress Hill
Something.
1:25:25
Adam
Yeah. She's basically saying she wants out.
1:25:28
Cypress Hill
They don't talk already. He says they don't talk too much inside of the four months they were together. So that's just it.
1:25:34
Adam
I bet if we spoke to her, she would not call John her boyfriend.
1:25:38
Caller
He's my friend.
1:25:39
Adam
A lot of guys. We have a lot of guys calling the show. It's like, yeah, my girlfriend stopped talking to me. It's like, your girlfriend, you ever have sex with her? No. You ever make out with her? No. You ever go out with her? Once. Once last time, sorry, nine months ago. You sure she's your girlfriend? Yeah.
1:25:57
Caller
Well, where's she living? Tibet.
1:26:00
Adam
It's like, no, I think the reason you guys stop talking is because you never were talking. Maria?
1:26:06
Caller
Hello?
1:26:07
Adam
You're 19.
1:26:08
Caller
Yeah. I was wondering if GHB had any long-term effects.
1:26:11
Drew
We don't really know yet. I've certainly seen lots of problems with GHB. In fact, I've treated a number of Major League Baseball players. They've got a problem with Major League Baseball right now with GHB, and it certainly induces a manic depression, depressive-like syndrome, where people are completely out of it, very laid-back, very impulsive, very grandiose usually. What are they taking it for? I can't tell. I think they take it to sort of boost the growth hormone, which it does initially, and it gives them sort of a stimulant and euphoric effect. So it seems they perceive their enhanced performance.
1:26:44
Adam
Do they take it before they work out?
1:26:46
Drew
Then they just start taking it all the time. They're taking it throughout the day.
1:26:50
Adam
Right. Would they take it before a game?
1:26:52
Drew
They're just all the time. They can't go on four hours without it. They'll start withdrawing.
1:26:55
Adam
Oh, really?
1:26:55
Drew
Yeah.
1:26:56
Adam
So what do you start feeling?
1:26:57
Drew
You may agitate it and jumpy and distract. So you just want another hit. Yeah.
1:27:01
Adam
Is it liquid?
1:27:02
Drew
Usually it's a liquid.
1:27:03
Adam
And if you take too much, doesn't it kill you?
1:27:05
Drew
It can. Very easily.
1:27:06
Adam
I mean, what I mean is with GHB, I've heard that you take a teaspoon or whatever and you're right, but you take a tablespoon and you could have a seizure or something.
1:27:18
Drew
It's very difficult to dose GHB. The therapeutic distance between intoxication and death is tiny in some cases.
1:27:26
Adam
Right.
1:27:27
Drew
And Maria, the cases I've treated, I've treated a number of these people, they're not right for a long time afterwards, like months, they are not themselves.
1:27:35
Caller
Because I didn't take that much, but I didn't know what it was when I took it.
1:27:38
Drew
Well, single exposure is probably not going to do anything.
1:27:41
Adam
What effect did it have on you?
1:27:43
Caller
It knocked me out for maybe like three hours.
1:27:45
Caller
Yeah, I think I couldn't sleep, like all the other people that are calling.
1:27:49
Drew
Wow. That's why you took it?
1:27:50
Caller
Yeah, I didn't know what it was, and I was at a buddy's house, and he was like, well, you know, take this.
1:27:54
Caller
And at birth, I said, no.
1:27:55
Caller
And then I went and told him, you know, go ahead and give it to me. And then he just told me, you know, just to take, like, you know those Pepsi bottles? I think they're like 32 ounces or something. Like the cap on that, that's how much I took.
1:28:06
Adam
And it knocked you out?
1:28:07
Caller
Yeah.
1:28:08
Adam
Now, why didn't it make her euphoric enough? Because she took too much?
1:28:13
Drew
Some people can react, it's just like any other drug, people react to it differently.
1:28:16
Cypress Hill
Everybody's body chemistry.
1:28:18
Drew
It's generally sedating, generally.
1:28:21
Adam
But then if it's sedating, why are the baseball players taking it?
1:28:23
Drew
Because some people get a euphoric buzz from it, but the addicts, people with addictive chemistry tend to get a much more euphoric response to it.
1:28:31
Adam
Alright, should I try some of this stuff or are you just going to give me those sleeping pills we're talking about?
1:28:36
Cypress Hill
Take the sleeping pills, man.
1:28:37
Adam
Alright, and what does the booze do with the Tylenol, not the Tylenol PM, but the basic sleeping pills?
1:28:47
Drew
Just it makes it, it intensifies it.
1:28:49
Adam
Does it? I'm looking for a little more kick. I need something to kick the booze up a little now.
1:28:54
Drew
Why?
1:28:55
Adam
Hey, you know, I like to knock myself out a little bit.
1:28:58
Drew
The glass of red wine you've been recommending for the last year isn't working anymore?
1:29:02
Adam
No, it's alright. I think I gotta just up the dose a little.
1:29:05
Drew
Oh, I see. Imagine how that happens. There's going to be four glasses of wine to go to sleep.
1:29:09
Adam
Well, or just one huge tumbler of red wine. Alright, we'll take ourselves a little break. I've discovered the medicinal uses for red wine when I get home.
1:29:21
Cypress Hill
I know.
1:29:21
Adam
But actually, I need some. You got some pod on you?
1:29:24
Cypress Hill
Sure I do.
1:29:25
Adam
Alright, we gotta talk. I gotta get to bed tonight. We'll take a little break. B-Real is here and we'll be back after this.
1:30:09
Cypress Hill
Depends who.
1:30:10
Adam
It's Loveline, Adam Carolla, it's Dr. Drew over there. Be Real is here tonight from Cypress Hill. The Dragon Festival is going on this Saturday at 2 o'clock in San Bernardino at the Orange Festival Show grounds.
1:30:26
Cypress Hill
The San Bernardino.
1:30:27
Adam
It always seems like there's a word missing from that.
1:30:29
Cypress Hill
The National Orange Show.
1:30:31
Adam
That's right.
1:30:32
Cypress Hill
That's what it is.
1:30:32
Adam
And this is the same place they have to smoke out. Yeah, each year. So for those of you who went to that, I'm guessing there's going to be a line of repeat customers who went to the smoke out or go to the smoke out every year and want to go to the Dragon Festival. It is the same place.
1:30:48
Cypress Hill
It's the same place. It's going to be really good. I think that the lineup we have here, it's not as big of a lineup as the smoke out. Obviously, we have more acts on that day, but this is a more compact bill and I think it's going to be really good.
1:31:06
Adam
How many people you figure this venue will hold, this indoor venue?
1:31:10
Cypress Hill
Probably like 25,000 people.
1:31:13
Adam
Wow. What was it? Was it an airplane hangar?
1:31:16
Cypress Hill
Yeah, I believe it's a hangar or something like that, something close to that.
1:31:20
Adam
This is an old racetrack, right?
1:31:22
Cypress Hill
Yeah. It's like a racetrack, fairgrounds. They do like outdoor swap meets there or they used to, I think.
1:31:29
Adam
Right.
1:31:29
Cypress Hill
But, you know, on another note, we are doing this 420 Harvest Dr. Green Thumb Party or whatever we're calling it, April 20th at the Shrine. It's going to be good.
1:31:42
Adam
The Shrine is a cool old place if anyone hasn't been there. And it seems like the upper balcony is going to fall down every time the party gets started over there. Drew, remember we were standing on stage and?
1:31:56
Drew
Offspring.
1:31:57
Adam
Offspring we're playing and then the whole thing was moving.
1:32:01
Drew
Yeah, you can see it.
1:32:01
Adam
I mean, people were like, I was like, well, someone's going to get killed and then I thought, well, let's get a beer.
1:32:08
Cypress Hill
That was at the Shrine?
1:32:09
Adam
That was at the Shrine for the Acoustic Christmas, I think, a couple of years back.
1:32:14
Cypress Hill
Yeah, I heard about that.
1:32:16
Adam
Yeah, the thing does shake, but I imagine it's been all earthquake rehabbed and all that stuff. So that's coming up April 20th.
1:32:23
Cypress Hill
Yeah, April 20th. It's going to be a bunch of pro-marijuana activist groups, I guess you can call them Long Beach Dub All Stars, Cottonmouth Kings, Soulfly, Ourselves, Cypress Hill.
1:32:34
Adam
Just follow the trail of bong water to the venue. If they want to go online and find out about all of this stuff, what is the best place to go?
1:32:45
Cypress Hill
They can either go on to the Smokeout website at www.smokeout.net or the Dragon Festival, which is www.dragonfestival.net. They can find out all the information on that. As a matter of fact, for that 420 thing, the band that I'm working on, Cush, is what it's called, The Sad Project, we'll be playing that. That'll be our first show ever.
1:33:10
Adam
Oh, good. All right. So, and maybe we'll go out, or at least I'll go to that one.
1:33:13
Yeah, you should come out, man.
1:33:14
Adam
Because that's in the neighborhood.
1:33:15
Cypress Hill
It's a good place to stock up.
1:33:18
Adam
I'll do that tonight after the show.
1:33:20
Yeah.
1:33:20
Adam
Tyson?
1:33:21
Caller
Yeah.
1:33:23
Adam
You're 23, what's up?
1:33:24
Caller
Nothing, how are you guys doing? Good. I want to know about How I Could Just Kill A Man, the lyrical content of the song. I just, I read something tonight that it was, there was a little debate about whether or not it was just political or whether or not it was actually based on an experience that B-Real had with his family.
1:33:41
Cypress Hill
It was based off of an experience I had. I lived in Gardena, I think, in, I believe it was 89 or 90, somewhere around that time, and this dude broke in our home and he held my mother and my niece at Knife Point, tied me and my sister up and he, actually he was trying to rob a drug dealer who lived right across from us and he robbed the wrong apartment and he came into our house.
1:34:09
Caller
How old were you?
1:34:10
Cypress Hill
I was, I was 18 or 19 around that time.
1:34:15
Adam
And he came in, was he high?
1:34:18
Cypress Hill
Well, it was like at 4 in the morning and he broke this window like that, that you can just stick right, you know how you have those windows by the front door where you know you have the little thing and it opens like a bunch of them.
1:34:31
Adam
Right, it's slanted.
1:34:32
Cypress Hill
It's louvered. He, he, he somehow opened it, got the door open and he got into my room first and he jumped on the back of me and I thought it's maybe one of my friends clowning around because I'm not really realizing what time it is.
1:34:45
Adam
Yeah, you're stoned off your ass and you're asleep.
1:34:47
Cypress Hill
Yeah, so I'm like get, get off me man, what are you doing? And then he put the knife to my throat and he says don't move or your mom and your sister and your niece are done. So, you know, I had to comply and you know he tied me up and I heard my mother screaming for me.
1:35:02
Adam
What did he tie you up with?
1:35:04
Cypress Hill
He tied me up with some wire type of stuff. He tied my, he tied my feet in my, in my, my wrist behind my back and everything.
1:35:12
Adam
Oh my God.
1:35:12
Cypress Hill
And I could hear my mother screaming and somehow my sister jumped, like she got loose because she, the guy was kind of nervous you could tell. And he was, he didn't tie her up as well. And somehow she got out, jumped out the window of a two-story apartment. Wow. Called the cops and they were waiting for him by the time, you know, he finished the place. Yeah. Because my mother was fighting him off.
1:35:35
Adam
And does, this was, it was at the apartment next year's that?
1:35:40
Cypress Hill
Yeah. The guy, the guy was so like jacked up. He went into the wrong apartment. He was asking for this, somebody named Pebbles or something like that. And he came into the wrong apartment. And he was looking for the one across. Right. And, you know, he just came into the wrong place.
1:35:56
Adam
Oh, man. That must have freaked you out.
1:35:58
Cypress Hill
It did. I mean, it made me angry. I mean, I spent a lot of time looking for that guy in the, in the, in the institutional system because, you know, I had a lot of friends and everything. But fortunately, you know, I came to my senses and I just let it, let it, let it slide. And, you know, those are the things that I write about because of those experiences, man. They scar your brain and yeah, that was one thing, one way to get it out of my system, you know?
1:36:24
Adam
Yeah, I mean, I mean, that's the kind of thing you can have, like, post-traumatic stress. So you should, you should. You're asleep with some guys on your back. I mean, it's probably good that you thought it was one of your friends. Oh, yeah. At least initially.
1:36:36
Cypress Hill
Yeah, I mean, it was, it was, it was pretty messed up for a while on me. But, you know, I've been through so many crazy things that that was just one adding to many, you know?
1:36:46
Adam
Well, for those of you who aren't from the Southern California area, Gardena should not have the word garden in it. Yeah. I worked at a, I used to work at a decorative box factory in Gardena. I rebuilt it during my construction days and I should have killed myself. I wish I would have jumped on me and killed me back then. But that, I hated that thinking Gardena. You don't still, no one lives there anymore, do they?
1:37:13
Cypress Hill
I mean, I had a lot of good friends out there, but once that happened, I moved my family out there real quick.
1:37:19
Adam
That's a dicey area. All right, we'll take ourselves a little break. We'll be back with more Be Real after this. Well, that is it. Just talking to B-Real about the bad old days.
1:38:07
Cypress Hill
Oh, yeah.

Now, he's going to hop into his expensive car and drive over to one of his many girlfriends' houses.
1:38:12
Cypress Hill
Oh, Jesus.
1:38:13
Adam
Laugh all the way.
1:38:15
Cypress Hill
Stop it.
1:38:16
Adam
Yeah, but let me just say this real fast. Unlike some child actor or something, you can really enjoy what you have now, right? Because you have something to compare it to.
1:38:27
Cypress Hill
Yeah, for sure. I mean, when you come from nothing and you work that hard to get something, and you have it, it means more to you. You don't want to lose it, so you work harder to keep it. Right. I've never been a person to get complacent about anything or be satisfied. I'm always trying to keep moving forward with things.
1:38:44
Adam
That's what we like about Be Real in Cypress Hill and come back anytime, say hi.
1:38:49
Cypress Hill
There's not too many stoners like that either, man.
1:38:52
Caller
No, there isn't.
1:38:54
Adam
They do get complacent. And although they are motivated when they have to get weed.
1:38:59
Cypress Hill
Yeah, that's one of the few times.
1:39:01
Adam
I can't get it up for that. Alright, the Motivated Happy Stoner, Be Real. Thanks a lot.
1:39:07
Cypress Hill
That's me.
1:39:08
Adam
