5:07🔗VoiceoverLoveline may contain sexually-oriented content. Listener discretion is advised. Adam Corolla and Dr. Drew Loveline, Coast to Coast.
5:23🔗AdamHey, it is Loveline, I'm Adam Corolla, that is Dr. Drew over there, phone number 1-800-L-O-V-E-1-9-1. Dr. Drew is a board certified physician, an addiction medicine specialist. Tomorrow night, Jeremy McGrath will be in here, the king of Motocross. I saw a win when I was in Anaheim just a few weeks back. Tonight, we have the king of, I don't know if you want to call it hip hop. What do you call it?
5:50🔗Cypress HillI'm not the king of hip hop, man. I'm just one of the pieces in the game.
5:54🔗AdamSmokehop. It is B-Real, of course, from Cypress Hill. B-Real comes on the show quite a bit. We're always glad to see him. He is plugging the Dragon Festival, which takes place this Saturday at the National Orange Show in San Bernardino. Those of you who are hip to B-Real in San Bernardino, remember that's where the Smokeout takes place.
6:22🔗Cypress HillYeah, every October. This year promises to be a good one as well.
6:26🔗AdamThere's going to be a bunch of bands as well. Of course, Cypress Hill, Linkin Park will be there, who was on this show just what, last week, week before? They were on this show real recently, Linkin Park.
6:46🔗AdamYeah, nice guys. So there's a whole bunch of acts there. And again, it's going on. The doors will open at 2 o'clock. And this one's not going to be out in the field, out on the raceway. It's going to be indoors.
6:59🔗Cypress HillYeah, this is going to be an indoor thing, you know. A little bit. It's downsized a little bit because we wanted to make it more intimate than, you know, our big extravaganza festival in October. So this one's we're trying to do every every festival we throw a little different.
7:20🔗Cypress HillYeah, this is the first year for the Dragon Fest. And right, you know, right now we're doing pretty good. People are very interested in it. It's going to be a good show.
7:27🔗AdamNow, do they, you guys have a website, right?
7:31🔗Cypress HillYeah, I think it's dragonfestival.net or something.com. I don't know. I haven't been on the site. But I think if you go on to the Smokeout website, it'll link to the Dragon site.
7:42🔗AdamAnd the Smokeout website is running year round.
7:54🔗Cypress HillYeah. Well, it links to anybody, I guess, who's playing in the festivals. It links to their sites and gives people information on those bands and everything, as well as ours.
8:05🔗AdamWell, it seems like the last year was a good year for Cypress Hill.
8:11🔗Cypress HillYeah, it was pretty good, I gotta say. Fans liked what we did with the Skull and Bone record. And right now, we're gonna be working on a new one.
8:23🔗Cypress HillI believe we're gonna work on it in April. We're gonna take our time to do other things, our little side projects. I got another band going on right now. So we're all taking our little time away from each other, and then we're gonna go back in April and knock another record out.
8:39🔗AdamWell, so we're hoping that the Dragon Festival becomes like the smoke out in the sense that it's a yearly event that people can look forward to.
8:47🔗Cypress HillYeah, we're trying to have a couple of events per year, at least three. You know, we're trying to do the Dragon Festival in the spring, and closer to the summer, we're trying to do our 420 Harvest Fest that we're doing at the Shrine this year, and then we're doing our smoke out. Wow.
9:03🔗AdamAll right, so Cypress Hill, very busy, and again this Saturday at the National Orange Show in San Bernardino, you'll be rain or shine. It'll be indoors this time.
9:16🔗AdamDoors open at 2, and is it basically doors open and you find a seat?
9:22🔗Cypress HillWell, it's general admission, so there's no seating. It's not one of those like amphitheaters where you're subjected to sit in a seat all day. I mean, for the type of crowd that we attract, everybody wants to be standing up and moving around freely. All right.
9:36🔗AdamThere'll be food and- Everything. Pongs and t-shirts and everything.
9:41🔗Cypress HillLots of girls, scantily clad women, all that stuff.
9:45🔗AdamSo go down there and bring your ATM card. Brian?
9:52🔗I had this girlfriend I've had her for like about eight months or so, but I've cheated on her twice. I told her about one time and she flipped out. I was wondering if you think I should tell her about the second time.
10:04🔗DrewWell, if your intention is to harm her and cause a breakup, sure, go ahead.
10:09🔗AdamThat's a great strategy. As a matter of fact, why don't you just lie and say you did it three times?
10:16🔗Cypress HillThat's a hard one. You know you want to be honest because it eats you up inside, but you know if you say something, it's going to be worse and you'll never live it down because they never forget it.
10:28🔗AdamNo. You'll wish you could take it back at some point when she's torturing you or sleeping with one of your friends.
10:34🔗DrewAll he's done is transferred his guilt into her pain.
12:04🔗AdamGood times. He's very much in love. Dustin?
12:07🔗Yeah. I got a problem because I had a sex with this girl earlier today, right? It was probably like four o'clock or whatever. And when she went home, she called me up and she said like she was bleeding or whatever, and I guess it stopped. But she's not on her period or anything and she's not a virgin. She had sex like four times before.
13:20🔗Do you think that she hurt because she was nervous?
13:24🔗DrewNo, I think she hurt because you were hitting something there, and maybe she has a cyst. Maybe you're too big. And a mitral infection. I think a lot of things she should have, but she could have, but you know, she's sexually active, she should be getting pelvic exams regularly if the bleeding seems disproportionate. She gotta go in and get checked out.
13:40🔗Yeah, because her mom was going to take her to the gyno or whatever, but she didn't want to because she was nervous that her mom might find out she had sex.
13:48🔗DrewNo, it's not, the mom, no, this is between she and the doctor.
13:51🔗Cypress HillIs it the first time it happened?
13:52🔗Well, you were, like, last time we were doing it, it was on, like, New Year's Eve or whatever, and she couldn't really handle it, so I didn't finish because it hurt too much for her.
14:03🔗DrewEvery time we're about to do it, I'm like, well, she needs to have that checked out. The bleeding may or may not have something to do with that, but she needs that checked out right away.
14:43🔗AdamNo, I don't want you to. No, no, I cannot look at, I cannot look at clinical pictures of vaginas anymore. It ruins my masturbatory sessions when I get home.
16:08🔗AdamI can tell by your voice. I'm serious. We talk to these guys all the time. We talk to these 13 year olds like, yeah, broke off some ass the other week, man.
16:17🔗I was banging this bitch pretty good doggy style.
16:20🔗AdamAnyway, bitch knocked my beer over, so I went upside her head with, you know, a lamp cord.
16:25🔗Cypress HillThere's a certain swagger about a guy when he gets laid for the first time.
16:29🔗AdamAnd when we talk to the 13, 14 year olds at Hammon, it's like, anyway, I was with this young lady. It's never believable, but I'll talk to David for a second. David? Okay.
17:51🔗DrewBecause you just cracked the laugh too. That's not the way humans were.
17:55🔗AdamThere's not a 14-year-old alive who had sex with some other guy in high school and didn't catch the guy's name and doesn't know who the dude is and doesn't see him in the hall and hasn't talked to him. Plus, it could be his kid, so obviously, he'd be very interested in finding out who this is. It's just there's a lot of holes in this story, David. You got to work it out and call back, all right? Okay. All right, buddy, take care. See, listen, I don't mind a bogus call, but at least give us the dignity of actually working, hashing it out a little. Kind of threesome, I don't know who the guy is.
18:27🔗Cypress HillHe sounded like a little girl at that.
18:34🔗CallerWhat are the causes of acute lymphatic leukemia?
18:37🔗DrewIt's just one of those diseases that occur sporadically with no known cause. There are plenty of diseases you can get without a specific cause.
19:48🔗DrewSo he had it when he was a younger child? Yeah. He had whole brain radiation and he had the chemotherapy and stuff, right? So those kids have a higher risk of second cancers, but the ALL usually is under good control. Usually he's short stature and that sort of thing. Yeah.
20:26🔗AdamSo they're looking for a new lead singer?
20:28🔗Cypress HillYeah, I guess that's what's going on.
20:30🔗AdamAll right. So you're in that- Oh, is that your side project you're talking about?
20:34🔗Cypress HillNo, the side project I'm working on is with a couple of guys from Fear Factory, and one of my partners from the Deaf Tones, we're working on a band called Kush right now. So that's the side project.
20:45🔗AdamI know this sounds, I don't know, naive or something, but if you have a project, why not just do it with Cypress Hill?
20:53🔗Cypress HillWell, I wanted to do a little something different that Cypress Hill doesn't do. Right.
20:59🔗AdamJust different kind of music, different sound?
21:01🔗Cypress HillYeah, different kind of music, a little bit heavier as far as the hip hop metal scene thing is going. I mean, we do it with Cypress, but the band that I have working on this new stuff is in a whole other realm.
21:16🔗AdamHow does this guy know about Rage Against the Machine?
21:18🔗Cypress HillWell, those are rumors circulating right now, because I called those guys when the whole thing happened, just to show my support and I said, hey, if you guys need a guy, I'm right here, man. What are you going to do? Yeah.
21:34🔗AdamWhat about Van Halen? You're going to work with them too?
21:37🔗Cypress HillNo. That's David Lee Ross' part, man. Hopefully, I don't do a Van Hagar with them, man. If I can't do it justice, I'm going to step to the left and keep doing what I'm doing.
21:47🔗AdamAll right. Well, we'll keep our eyes open and see what happens. Sarah?
21:55🔗CallerI just have a question for you guys. This is really weird. Basically, when I get aroused and I'm kissing my boyfriend, I get sort of an aching in the vaginal area, and I'm just wondering if that's normal.
22:13🔗CallerUsually, it's just when we start kissing or whatever, and then it goes away once we've been kissing for a while. I don't know if that's the blood rushing to the area or what.
22:23🔗DrewIt's aching that men feel all the time, right?
22:25🔗AdamYeah. They're nuts throbbing when we kiss for too long. Yeah. That's the pain we feel in our soul and our testicles. Yeah. But it goes away?
22:37🔗CallerYeah. After a little bit, after I'm fully aroused, I guess you could say.
22:41🔗DrewAny chance you have a hernia or anything like that?
22:44🔗CallerNot that I know of. Well, this has been happening on and off ever since we've been together, which is about five years.
23:06🔗CallerAnd we got together when I was 17. And I don't know, I still feel like we're pretty immature in the relationship. And all my friends are getting married.
23:14🔗DrewYeah, six years is, you know, you just get started.
23:16🔗AdamGive it some time. Let's not rush right into sex. Yeah, I mean, give another two or three Olympic seasons and then you can slowly graduate into sex.
23:56🔗AdamSorry, baby. I'd like to get it on, but my religion does not permit me to engage in that, so start blowing.
24:02🔗DrewOh, how cute. But you can blow me. I can't resist now.
24:05🔗AdamYes. I'll be reading the Torah on your head while you're blowing me. Thank you. Please slow down. You're crumpling the pages. I can't focus here. The TV, that's part of my religion as well. Sports Center, it grounds me.
24:20🔗Cypress HillSlow down. You're making me read too fast.
24:35🔗CallerI don't know. I think it's just the thought of having to, you know, go on birth control and the side effects and the risk of getting pregnant or...
25:00🔗AdamWell, yeah. I mean, he doesn't... You don't... He doesn't just shove his dork through the mail slot and talk to you through that peephole in the door, right? No. No. I mean, he actually comes into the house, you guys kiss, you hug, and then you have oral sex, right?
25:16🔗AdamAnd then you talk afterward. Oh, yeah. I see. No, I didn't mean to cheapen your relationship, but I just meant it eventually ends up in oral sex.
25:28🔗AdamOkay. And we're still all just a little bit puzzled here. I mean, he's religious, but he's not that religious. You're not religious.
25:38🔗DrewEvery time we allude to oral sex, you're like, well, yeah.
25:42🔗AdamYou're in love with the guy. You have that throbbing in your vagina every time you embrace, which is love, by the way. They talk about hearing violins or seeing fireworks. It's really the throbbing and the growing. That'll tell you when you're in love. But yet, you will not consummate your relationship.
26:45🔗AdamNo. So you never, you don't have any reason not to get close to somebody this way?
26:50🔗CallerNot really, except just I guess the only reason I could think of is I don't want to have to deal with any of the responsibilities or consequences that come with it. So maybe it's just a little bit of immaturity. I don't know.
27:14🔗AdamWhat about the responsibility of, you know, accidents, insurance, gas, burning up fossil fuel, replacing brakes? What about all the risk? What about all the responsibility of getting in your car every day?
27:25🔗CallerWell, that's not responsibility with your body, though. That's responsibility with me.
27:28🔗AdamSure it is. You could go through the windshield. There's a potential that you could be clipped or killed in your car every time you get in it.
28:03🔗AdamNow we're getting to the truth here. So if he showed up Friday night with a smelling like aqua velva or high karate and he had a bottle of champagne in his hand and he said, I got a condom in my pocket and tonight is the night, you'd be down with it, right? So now why isn't he doing it? So it's not you.
28:20🔗Cypress HillMaybe that's what the problem is in the first place.
28:26🔗CallerWell, like his mom is pretty religious and he respects her and I mean, he was even, you know, we are going to go away in a couple of weeks and he didn't, I don't even know she knows and it's just probably some of the issues he deals with as well as why he hasn't pursued it.
28:42🔗AdamBut not as well, it's him. I mean, you're waiting.
28:46🔗Cypress HillShe wants to do it, he doesn't, she's making excuses for himself.
29:05🔗AdamHave a good night's sleep. Enjoy. Be real, this is here from Cypress Hill. We'll take ourselves a little break when we get back. Once we get to Scott, he's 26, he has an STD and he wants to know how to tell his present girlfriend after this.
29:56🔗AdamI'm Adam Carolla. That is Dr. Drew over there. Phone number 1-800-LE-1-9-1. Our good friend Be Real is here tonight from Cypress Hill. Saturday is the Dragon Festival, which is going on in the National Orange Show in San Bernardino. Doors open at 2 o'clock and show up ready to go. There's, actually, we got the list of the bands here. I think I got the flyer, but I can't read any of them. We do know Linkin Park and somebody from Bone Thugs in Harmony is going to be there, Wu-Tang Clan.
30:30🔗Cypress HillThe Jizzers from the Wu-Tang Clan, The Beat Nuts, Blackalicious. Who else? You got the flyer.
30:40🔗Cypress HillI'm doing a special set with this guy named AK1200. It's going to be quite a show.
30:47🔗AdamYeah, I'm going to get a clear copy of this so we can get all the rest of the bands. But don't worry, if Cypress Hill is putting it on, it's going to be a good show, just like the Smoke Out. And it'll be, you'll get all the bang for your buck you can over there. Scott.
31:12🔗CallerI have a question for you. The other day I went to the doctor and had a complaint about my bits and pieces. I had some bumps on it, so I took it down there and had it looked at. I guess they did a little bit of manipulating with a scalpel. I had to get into it, but they sent the sample up. I guess it was a biopsy on it.
32:01🔗AdamAcetic acid on my penis and shined a black light on it to see if any little white caps popped up. Nothing. Clean as a whistle. Gold medal. I could do surgery with my penis.
32:17🔗AdamYou could. You'd have to find something really narrow. You'd have to eat like a little California roll or something maybe. I don't know. What would you eat off my penis? A piece of licorice.
32:50🔗DrewFor her, it's an issue because certain of the viruses that cause these warts can increase her risk for cervical cancer. So, it's got to be checked regularly.
34:08🔗AdamBut does it burn? I mean, is it burning technically? Do you know what I mean?
34:12🔗CallerWell, when he's doing it, it's really cold. And then after a little while, it starts to burn. After two or three minutes, it starts to set in.
34:19🔗AdamAnd after four minutes, you lost your erection, right?
35:10🔗AdamYou could sleep with a hundred and not get it, or you could sleep with one and get it. So you have to lie and you slept with one and got it. That virgin bitch lied. That's what you do. You don't have to say you got it from sodomizing a junkie.
35:30🔗CallerI got it from a toilet seat. How's that?
35:50🔗AdamOkay, Scott. Take care of yourself with that penis. He'll never tell his girlfriend. No, I know. He'll rationalize that if she's getting annual pap smears.
35:59🔗Cypress HillYeah, how do you say something like that?
36:00🔗AdamWhy freak her out? And he doesn't want to have to put the condom on with someone he's been with for three years already. So she probably has it, right, Drew?
36:26🔗CallerOn Sunday, I was taking a shower and I got out because I got really, really hot and I felt really, really dizzy and I laid down in the bed.
37:07🔗AdamI wonder why I insisted. You go, well, I don't mean to sound too derogatory, but I, any, if I knew a girl and she like felt tired and she got a shower, I said, honey, go to bed. What? Hospital? Are you nuts? Lie down.
37:21🔗CallerHe was just to say that I was pregnant, I think.
37:45🔗AdamYeah. Okay. I'm trying to figure out what's going on here.
37:48🔗DrewA lot of drama with Amber. What's up? Then she goes and whatever they tell us, hey, how dare you. Yeah.
37:52🔗AdamWhat's up with you, baby? I don't know. Well, I mean, why? Okay. So you won the shower, you fell a little lightheaded, you got out of the shower and you went to lie down. Yeah. No, 99% of 18-year-olds will just went to bed. But you thought you're having a seizure or something.
38:10🔗CallerSo my stomach had been hurting me for, it's been hurting me for.
38:13🔗AdamOkay. But everybody, look, people do this, I got people I work with that are sitting around work feeling this way all day. We don't put them in the ambulance and take them anywhere. I mean, why the reaction?
39:09🔗AdamPut a little snap on it. That's his calling card, by the way, for any fans that get out of hand. Get out of line. I've seen him take down a few kids in an airport before.
39:20🔗DrewBut this is what that is, when people have, are somatically preoccupied, they can't contain anxiety, they get overwhelmed by sensory input from their body, and when they go out into the world to get help, they can't trust anybody.
39:32🔗AdamSo what happened, Amber? Who beat on you?
39:35🔗CallerUm, well, first my dad. Yeah. And then my mom got a divorce from him when I was about four. And then she got remarried and my stepdad beat me too.
39:54🔗AdamNo, listen, Amber, this is what's going on. And, you know, your mom, I'm sure, was beaten by her dad. That's why she found these two idiots to beat on her.
40:05🔗AdamAnd her daughter. And this is what you got to focus on. You understand?
40:10🔗DrewPeople, people, adult, there are trustworthy adults out there. You have to let them in.
40:14🔗AdamYou have to let somebody help. You have to talk to somebody. You have to get some therapy, some counseling. You have to deal with this so you don't go through your whole life just sort of reacting to it. Because there's going to be many more needless trips to the hospital.
40:27🔗CallerDo you guys know of any, I've heard you talk about free therapy or counseling?
40:39🔗DrewColorado. Oh my god. I would start with any teaching facilities, universities, anything like that in your area. Just to see if they have any pro-rated or free services.
40:51🔗CallerYeah, I'm actually, I go to community college.
40:55🔗AdamOh baby. Talk about abuse. That's the real abuse, community college. Some old teachers don't speak any English. You can't understand what's going on.
41:06🔗AdamYeah, that's a mistake. Go into the counseling. If you go to the community college, you go into the library or something, you'll see all those flyers everywhere, all these outreach programs and help. You just get yourself involved with some of that, all right?
41:33🔗AdamYeah. Drew knows when someone's been whacked around a little. Drew, you're honing your senses on that. You must be studying or something or at least you're aware of it, or maybe you've been beating your kids.
41:53🔗DrewI could feel the chaos and so I figure that's got to be physical.
41:55🔗AdamSo there's abuse here. It's not sexual. Let's do the math. All right. B-Real is here. We're going to take ourselves a little break. When we come back, we'll speak to Fred, girlfriend, orgasms, a torrential flood every time, milky white fluid.
42:16🔗Caller1-800-LOVE-191. Loveline will be right back.
42:40🔗AdamHere it is, Loveline, I'm Adam Carolla. That'd be Dr. Drew over there, phone number 1-800-LOVE-191. Jeremy McGrath, a good guy, good friend, and the king of Supercross will be in here tomorrow night. And Drew, I'm telling you, if you ever hold your lily white ass out to one of those Supercross races, you would be blown away.
43:06🔗AdamIt is really super impressive. I don't care if you ain't interested in it. I don't care if you've never been on a bike a day in your life. You go to one of those races and get down there around the field level and see these guys clearing the triple jumps. And the first one starts, and the next one is a good 8-10 cars away. And these guys are 35 feet in the air each and every lap. They're in the air, man. And while they're 35 feet in the air, their hand is coming off the bar. They're going up to the goggles. They're ripping away that extra piece of plastic they have, you know, that gets dirt on it every once in a while. They're pulling their glove back on. These guys are 35 feet in the air on a motorcycle, and they're sort of taking care of, they use that as a little downtime to like check stuff.
43:54🔗AdamYeah, no, they're looking behind them. They get 35 feet in the air, and they go, well, I'll take this opportunity. I got a couple seconds. I'll look back. I'll see, you know, who's coming up on me, or I'll clean my goggle off, or I'll adjust my glove. They got the hands off the bars. Jeremy McGrath wins the whole thing. He gets 30 feet in the air. He does the can-can where both feet come off the pegs, and they're on one side of the bike. He's got the thing pancake in the air. I mean, it's crazy. There's 55,000 people there, and they're going nuts. I mean, it's really like, it's really quite a spectacle. I'll tell you, there's a lot of sports that you kind of have to be into. You have to know the game. You had to be a fan or maybe crawl...
44:37🔗AdamNo, you don't need to know anything. You could be uptight. You could be not into it. You could not like the sound or the smell, and just go and watch it, and you'll be screaming like a mad man. Be Real is here tonight from Cypress Hill. The National Orange Show in San Bernardino is where the Dragon Festival takes place. That is going on Saturday, 2 o'clock. The gates open, and a lot of bands, including of course, Cypress Hill is going to be there, so go out and check that out. Is there a phone number or website? Is there something? If someone is listening, they want to check, see about getting some tickets, can they get them in advance?
45:15🔗Cypress HillYeah, they can now log on to www.dragonfestival.net for all the information, and they'll get a chance to see what other groups are playing, like Linkin Park, Jungle Brothers, Cotton Mouth Kings, Taproot, all those guys. It's going to be really good.
45:30🔗AdamOh yeah, Anderson's a big... Isn't Anderson a big... Oh no, no, no. You're not a big Cotton Mouth King guy. Another guy, Big Tad.
45:45🔗CallerMy wife and I, well, we've been married for a couple of years now, but once she has an orgasm, she has a discharge. I guess it's like a female ejaculation. And she does it quite a bit with each orgasm. I'm fortunate in the sense that she's multiply orgasmic, but with each orgasm, there's quite a bit of fluid discharged.
46:15🔗CallerI was wondering, what is this fluid and where does it come from?
46:18🔗AdamWell, it comes from the bowels of hell, and it's semen is what it is.
46:24🔗DrewThere are multiple glands in that area, just as the man has one big one, the prostate. Women have several glands. There's glands in the wall of the vagina, there's skeins glands, Bartholomew's glands. There's a lot of stuff there to produce fluid.
46:36🔗Cypress HillNow does it pour out or squirt? That's what I want to know.
46:47🔗CallerIt's funny because just before it happened, you could tell because her whole genital area gets real warm. And then there's the discharge.
46:56🔗AdamYou know the thing that's so freaky about women is they're all different. I mean we'll talk to a chick tonight who's 35, has never had an orgasm, whose man is on top for doing her every which way. To Sunday she's dry as a bone and cannot enjoy sex. And then we're talking to this one, it's like going to a car wash. I mean how does that work? How many guys are different? You know what I mean? You got some guys that shoot in two minutes and some guys who shoot in 20 minutes. But that's about it. That's the range for guys. And Fred, is this all right with you?
47:35🔗CallerWell no, it doesn't bother me. I was just wondering where the fluid came from. I didn't know if it came from the vaginal passage, I mean up inside the...
48:15🔗Cypress HillPut some plastic over the mattress.
48:17🔗AdamOh, man. Put a drain in there like the monkey cage. See, this is my thing. I'd be really turned on and feel gratified the first or second time this happened. I feel like it's an achievement, but 10 years into it, like, come on, stop it. Yeah, like, OK, let me go get the slicker on. You're sitting there, look like the Gordon's Fisherman.
48:47🔗AdamIt's like, honey, let's go get the chamois. Let's get it on in the car. It's a lease. I got the floor interior. I don't think so. It's kind of... It doesn't got to limit you just a little bit, too. Travis, you're 17. What's up?
49:02🔗CallerYeah, I was just wondering, when I have sex with my girlfriend, I can only perform for like a minute or less. And I was wondering if there was anything I could do about that.
49:37🔗AdamWell, I mean, put it this way. If you're having the orgasm within a minute when you're with her, if you took care of yourself a half hour before she came over, don't you think you could add a few minutes to that?
50:06🔗AdamYes. Yes. It's a circulation of semen. Out with the old and in with the new. That's what I say. All right, Travis, this is the kind of thing you have to work out. Because this is your clock. And your clock is a little early. You know what I'm saying? But you're 17, you stay with the same chick, you work out the beats and you'll be fine. All right. All right. Yeah. There's no real magic answer to this one. Is there, Drew?
50:33🔗Cypress HillHe's excited, I think. He's too excited.
50:36🔗AdamYou got to find your rhythm, stay with the one girl for a while and work out all the kinks. All right. We will take a little break. B-Real is here from Cypress Hill and we'll be back after this.
50:50🔗CallerLove Line will be right back. So get your problems ready. Ready.
51:28🔗AdamHit Loveline. Adam Corolla, that's Dr. Drew over there. Phone number, 1-800-ELE-VE-191. B-Real is our guest tonight from the great Cypress Hill, which is gonna be just one of the bands performing at the National Orange Show in San Bernardino. This Saturday, gates open at, or I should say doors open at two o'clock, and this is the Dragon Festival. And get out there and check it out, and then you can say you're at the first one ten years from now.
52:13🔗CallerAlright, well anyway, my problem is like, when I first started masturbating about four months ago, like, I orgasmed and everything and it was really great. But like, about a month ago, like, I like came and all, but like, it like didn't have the feeling. And it still like, feels good, but I don't have the like great orgasm feeling anymore. I'm just wondering if there's like anything you guys could tell me.
52:59🔗AdamYou want to give him a vape, vapor rub, Drew? What's up?
53:01🔗DrewIt just seems like that, you know, a guy that age has a sudden, significant change in their experience of orgasm. You think about something biological.
53:15🔗AdamI see. And what if you gave it a few days?
53:18🔗CallerOh, yeah, I tried that because I heard you telling other callers that. Yeah. And I thought for about four days and then... Nothing, huh? Yeah.
53:34🔗AdamYou know, I'd like to, I'd really... When I'm in charge, I like to get a sort of international porn rotation going because old porn is new porn to new eyes. You know what I mean? Maybe that will be my slogan.
53:47🔗DrewWe'll call it the International House of Porn. It will be the IHOP.
53:49🔗AdamYeah. Well, they have all these programs which is donate your reading glasses to people who need it, donate your clothing, your shoes, your old cars, you know, that kind of thing. What about your porn?
54:14🔗AdamThe point is, I got some stuff in my collection that I haven't looked at in years, and I'm sure some young kids would love to get their greasy paws on. By the same token, I'm sure there's stuff sitting around other people's houses. I'd love to get my grimy paws on. And if we could just connect, maybe that's what the Internet's for, Drew.
54:31🔗DrewYeah. I'm just thinking like the kinds of like toys for tots type drives.
54:37🔗AdamYou know, we get the marines come around each year with a big sack. You put your unwanted porn into it. They drop it off in my garage. And I see I am in charge of distribution. I sort it out. I make the us and them pile. Seriously, have you ever gone for a porn swap, Drew? You ever do that? No. No, B-Real? You never done that?
54:59🔗Cypress HillI mean, people give it to me all the time, but I always end up giving it to Bobo. You know, so I can't swap with anybody. I don't have any.
55:08🔗AdamWhere is Bobo? We've never seen him, we've never seen you in here without him.
55:13🔗Cypress HillHe's, I believe, working with Mugs right now in the studio. They're working on some other group Mugs is producing right now, and I think he's playing drums or something.
55:21🔗AdamWell, give him our love when you see him.
55:23🔗Cypress HillYeah, he usually would be here. That's right.
55:34🔗AdamMaybe you need to find yourself a good woman and breathe a little new life in your penis.
55:40🔗DrewPay attention to how you're feeling physically too. Make sure you eat right, get enough sleep, exercise regularly.
55:45🔗Cypress HillYeah, because when you're pleasing yourself, it's all too mechanical.
55:48🔗AdamYeah, you need to fall in love. They're not all tens, by the way, either.
55:53🔗DrewYeah, but that feeling of not being satisfied, but not having an orgasm feel normal, you know, feel as intense as it normally does at that age. You think about something.
56:28🔗CallerIn the past 8 months, I've gone from a 32B to a 34C. I have not gained any weight. I am not pregnant. I'm not on any medications. I'm totally done with puberty.
57:10🔗CallerNo, I'm not. My lifestyle hasn't even really changed that much. And also, I was kind of wondering what I could do to keep him from sagging now.
57:19🔗DrewNo medication, anything like that you're taking?
59:12🔗CallerI know. It's like, like, for instance, yesterday we got really, really into it. And like, I landed on my, kind of like on my, my, um, how do they call it?
1:00:10🔗AdamAre you a little bit? Well, I don't know how to phrase this without you getting defensive about it. But I mean, do you not like the fact that she has the kid and that she gets the attention and that kind of thing?
1:00:20🔗CallerOh, no. It's not that. It's just like she's always at school and she's always at work. So I'm the one that watches him because I have home studies. And it's like I'm very, very close to him. So when she gets mad, it takes him from me.
1:00:39🔗AdamWell, listen, you have all that time with your wonderful nephew while she's doing all the things instead of being a mom to him. And then when she comes home, you turn him over to her. I mean, here's the deal. Your sister's a little naughty. It's a little boy, right? Yeah, it's a little boy. All right, well, you'll be able to visit him in prison in a few years, so that's nice. Dad's off at the Navy. Mom's got her hands full. Why don't you just focus on being a 15-year-old, getting involved with stuff at school, you know, getting ready to go off to college. Don't be 21 and living at home with your kid, like your sister. Well, I mean, you're going to have to be the mature one even though you're the young one. Because even though she's mature in years, you're more mature emotionally.
1:01:28🔗Cypress HillYeah, just learn from her mistakes.
1:01:30🔗AdamRight. You're going to have to be the adult here, Alicia. And all this fighting in front of the kid is not going to be good for him at all.
1:03:11🔗AdamI guess they filled them up pretty quick.
1:03:14🔗DrewYou have gotten about as much done at home study as you did.
1:03:16🔗AdamWell, at least I would have known more about TV.
1:03:21🔗DrewBy the way, didn't you have home study? I mean, your home was right across the street from school. You didn't actually go, occasionally go across the street, I guess, but.
1:03:27🔗AdamYeah, I did cut a lot of classes and I always lived across. I lived across the street from my elementary school, and then I moved later and I ended up living across the street from my high school. That's a bad scene, by the way.
1:03:41🔗DrewOf all the things you complained about your parents for, you've never complained about their ability to pick prime real estate.
1:03:46🔗AdamFirst off, all the houses around the public schools, those ones you smoke out on the lawn and stuff, that was my house. Then my room became the place that all the guys who were getting laid, they'd all bang their girlfriends over at my house, and they'd come over to my house and eat. You know, my house. One time...
1:04:15🔗AdamOne time my two big buddies, Chris and Ray, tried to drag me naked out into the street while the entire school was letting out. I don't know how that worked, but I took on the power of ten men and them.
1:04:30🔗AdamYou want to know about strength? Two guys that are like 225 pounds and strong as oxes trying to drag my naked ass into the front yards so the entire school can see me and I took on the powers like Shazam.
1:04:43🔗Cypress HillIt's amazing what a person can do in the face of humility.
1:04:47🔗AdamOh, man. There was no way my naked ass was going to go. Plus, it would not only be my naked ass, it would be my wrestling, cheek spread, nut swinging ass. Not just staying in there naked, I mean, cheek spread.
1:05:02🔗DrewHow did you get them to sort of let down? Those two would go on all night.
1:05:41🔗CallerMy real one is this girl at school that I really like and want to ask out, but I haven't had too much luck with asking girls out. I've asked five girls out in the past and I've been rejected four times.
1:05:51🔗DrewYou know what? God bless you for getting up to the plate and swinging. I could not have done that at 15. I know. I could not have done it. There will be dividends for your effort.
1:06:21🔗Cypress Hill15. You know what? Let me tell you something, man. When I was 15, I couldn't get a date either. When I was 22, I landed the hottest chick in America. So do your thing.
1:06:33🔗DrewCould you even have asked someone out of 15?
1:06:35🔗Cypress HillNo. I was kind of quiet and I couldn't do it. Yeah.
1:06:42🔗AdamI was too busy fighting off my friends. I was being naked.
1:06:45🔗Cypress HillI mean, I did get laid for the first time when I was 15, but I mean, it was a stroke of luck. I just met the right person at the right time.
1:06:54🔗AdamSerendipity. Hey, Tony, what do you do? You go up to the girl, what do you say?
1:06:59🔗CallerWell, three times that I've been rejected, I asked them out over the phone, and then the two that said yes, I asked them out in person.
1:07:37🔗AdamFind the fat chick who's crying and ask her out. Now, listen, Tony. Yeah. We don't, none of us are worried about you because it's the ability to go up and ask. That's the most important part, not the results. Not at this point.
1:07:53🔗CallerIs there any like, I don't know, like technique or something that would?
1:07:57🔗AdamYou see ether rag and duct tape technique I use later.
1:08:00🔗DrewMake sure you figure out something that they like to do. Right. Or move it they want to see, something you know they're interested in. If they're the slightest bit interested in you, they'll get right on you.
1:08:13🔗AdamYes. It's time to give this speech. It's been a little while.
1:08:15🔗Cypress HillYou just got to be a little confident and don't go showing that you're too interested man because they get freaked out.
1:08:23🔗AdamYou don't have to actually ask them out. You can kind of test the waters. You can say this. I don't know what movie is coming out in the theater this week.
1:08:37🔗AdamAll right. Here's the point. You pick a movie. You go up to the girl and you go. You don't learn this stuff when you're young. But you go up to the girl and you go, What's going on? What are you doing this weekend? She'll go, Nothing or this or that. Now, right there, if she don't like you and don't want you to ask her out, she'll give you a laundry list of stuff she's doing. If she says, Nothing, just hanging out. Now, she's left an opening. She's left an door open. You bring up a movie. You go, Yeah, you know that movie, What Women Want, that Mel Gibson movie? Yeah. It seems pretty funny. I've been seeing the commercial. I'm thinking about seeing it. I'm thinking about checking that out. Now, if they want you to ask them out, they'll go, Yeah, I haven't seen that. Yeah, I've been wanting to see that too.
1:09:35🔗AdamYou hear anything like that, you're in.
1:09:37🔗Cypress HillTake notes out there, young people.
1:09:38🔗AdamThey're opening the gate and rolling out the red carpet. But if you bring that movie up and you get, Yeah, I don't know. I don't like movies. I got to study, I got to do this.
1:09:50🔗AdamI saw it, it sucked or I don't agree with it or I don't want to stop. Then just stop and go, Yeah, all right. Then you can walk away and you've asked them out without asking them out.
1:10:00🔗DrewYou can even make another swing such as, what do you like doing? Just shoot that. I'm going to get some coffee. They don't respond at all. Just forget it.
1:10:36🔗AdamAnd you just start dropping these little things. And when women, women will not ask guys out, but they'll do everything but ask a guy out. And they'll leave stuff wide open. And anything you talk about, if a chick's into you, she'll try to include herself in there. You start talking about, you start down about having a car, like a new car, one to take you. Oh, she'll be like, I want to check that. I've never been in one of those.
1:11:02🔗DrewThey're really into it. Hey, I'm shipping off for Beirut tomorrow. I'll be rude. I've always wanted to see you do it. What kind of boat you going on?
1:11:09🔗AdamYeah. They will take interest in you. The second way you know if a chick's into you, like if you're talking to a chick and you're at a party and you're just standing around and you have that initial, how's it going? Yeah, it's good. Yeah, good party. Who do you know over here? Have that. Then there's that little lull for a second where you run out of conversation, you're just standing. If she continues just to keep standing there, she don't leave. You're just standing there. You're okay. She just waits to lull out until you pick up another conversation, she's in.
1:11:37🔗DrewOr she might walk away to get it, refill her drink or something, but give you the long.
1:11:43🔗AdamYes, if she comes with you or does any hand thing. See, here's the one, B-Real, not that you need any coaching, but a lot of guys don't know this. When a woman ain't into you, she won't touch you. She won't get near you. If you hug her, it's like hugging an ironing board. You know? But if a woman likes you, she'll make excuses to touch you. I don't mean put her hand down your pants. That comes later.
1:12:45🔗AdamWe'll be back with B-Real after this. It's Loveline, I'm Adam. Drew is coming in here in just a second. Be Real is here from Cypress Hill. The Dragon Festival is going on this Saturday, National Orange Show in San Bernardino. Doors open at 2. Don't be late. Don't miss it. Lots of bands playing there, Cottonmouth Kings and Lincoln Park, and just a whole bunch of good stuff. Be Real is going to do a set with Cypress Hill and then a little special guest set, too.
1:13:52🔗Cypress HillWell, I'm actually doing just a set with AK-1200. I'm going to do some Cypress Hill songs, but a different musical arrangement, so it's going to be different.
1:14:03🔗AdamAll right. So don't miss it and say you're there at the first Dragon Festival again this Saturday. All right. Let's talk to Laura who's 28. Laura?
1:14:15🔗CallerYes. I have about 14 moles that are turning black. They're turning dark. They look like they have a scab on them. Is that bad?
1:14:28🔗CallerWell, because I had one when I was 18 that was doing the same thing and they removed it. There was nothing wrong with it. I've got a scar from it. It's right underneath where my bra is on the bottom.
1:14:42🔗DrewThat's where I have them all. Why are they scabbing? Are you scratching them?
1:14:45🔗CallerNo, not even touching them. They just look like they have black. I think they're getting dark on the top, on the very top of them.
1:14:53🔗DrewAgain, just to understand what things you should be looking out for. Any scalloped border, anything looks like it has a bite out of the edge of it, like a new mescaloped.
1:15:04🔗DrewThose are melanomas, or irregular borders, diffused border, the colors red, white, or blue in it. Any change in size needs to be looked at right away. So, get them checked out. There's no way you could evaluate them over the radio.
1:15:17🔗AdamDon't they say that if you have a certain amount of those on your body, you're more prone to cancer, skin cancer? Wasn't there some sort of quotient for that, or evaluation for that, if you had X amount of moles? Or, is it moles?
1:15:34🔗DrewNot that I'm aware of. There's a dysplastic nevus syndrome, which is a certain kind of...
1:15:38🔗AdamWell, sure, the dysplastic nevus syndrome. But, that's it. We have the DN syndrome. Sure. We're all aware of that. Be real in that. We're talking about that during the break.
1:15:47🔗Cypress HillWe were just having a conversation about that.
1:15:49🔗AdamRight. Right. Sure. So, you shouldn't have them taken care of unless they need taken care of. Taking care of.
1:15:57🔗DrewGerman charlengists can usually tell whether they need to be biopsy or not.
1:16:00🔗AdamAll right. I don't know. I don't know what I'm getting at. You know what I'm getting at?
1:16:04🔗DrewYou're going to get it at the next call.
1:16:05🔗AdamYou know what I'm saying? If you have a certain amount. I don't have any moles on my body. But, if you're someone who has a bunch of them, are you at a higher risk than I am for anything? Do you know what I'm saying?
1:16:18🔗DrewI mean, you're higher risk in that you have something to be looked at.
1:16:21🔗AdamYes, but that's it. And what's that say about you having a bunch of moles?
1:16:35🔗CallerWell, last month, I came home and I didn't want to wake my wife up. I left the lights out and I went to brush my teeth. I brushed my teeth with her vagin-fill.
1:16:45🔗DrewNice. When my kids were babies, I brushed my teeth with Desitin.
1:17:10🔗CallerWell, my question is, is there any medicinal value in it, I guess? I mean, am I going to? Sure.
1:17:16🔗AdamYou'll not get a yeast infection in your mouth for many months. You're fine, you idiot. Okay. All right. All right. Bye. Yeah. My sister stole the... By the way, it's a bad sign when your family has one tube of toothpaste and you have to go searching for it, you know, but we had one tube of toothpaste and my sister used to like it.
1:17:36🔗AdamOne tube of toothpaste. Why? It was bad times. We had to get by with one tube. I think my sister, I don't know if she like smoked pot at school and wanted to take the toothpaste with her to hide her breath or whatever it was, but the toothpaste, the one tube was in her purse. And so I came into the bathroom and I was like, hey, Lauren, where's the toothpaste? Would you take this? It's in my purse. I reached into the purse, wasn't even looking, grabbed the first thing that came in a tube, filled the brush with it. And the great thing about the human mind is you refuse to believe it because you've decided it was toothpaste. It's going to take a lot to extinguish that thought. Yeah, you're going. Yeah, I'm brushing, I'm thinking, Jesus Christ, I don't know what, my mom's been to the health food store again, getting this crap. What is this crap? I'm brushing, I'm thinking, listen, no more with this. We're getting some god damn crest if it kills me. And then I'm starting to think, wait a minute, man, there's just no way. I don't care if this thing don't have any, you know, if it's all organic.
1:18:35🔗AdamYeah, it's just white paste. I'm brushing my teeth. I'm thinking, this can't be good. There's something's up with this. I got to read this toothpaste thing in a sure enough Vagisil. Wow. Yeah, then it was like that Fred Sanford heart attack.
1:18:59🔗CallerWell, I have trouble sleeping. I've always had that, you know, kind of tired during the day. And then when it comes time to sleep, I can't sleep for anything.
1:19:08🔗CallerAnd one thing that I've noticed that happens once in a while is I'll have weird things when sleep does come around. Like one thing is I woke up one day and I was just staring at the bunk above me. And I started hearing voices in my head.
1:19:25🔗AdamWell, maybe that was your cellmate talking in his sleep.
1:19:29🔗CallerNo, it was just a very small, small apartment.
1:19:34🔗CallerBut yeah, I started hearing them and I thought that was the strangest thing in the world. And I always thought that people just imagined that they heard them when they heard them. And then I figured it was just something like dreaming because I lucid dream whenever I realize I'm dreaming. And then I figured, okay, if I concentrate really hard, I make them say what I want them to and I did. And then eventually they went away and I thought that was kind of weird. And then there's been other times where I'll be conscious and then I'll feel my body kind of start to shut down and almost kind of like you're paralyzed and like something's pushing down on me.
1:20:14🔗DrewWell, you're just describing sleep disorder, sleep disturbances, and whether or not there's any seizure component to this or something more serious, you need to see somebody to have that checked out. But those sort of night terrors where you're locked in and can't move and even sort of hallucinatory episodes which really kind of dreamed episodes because you're profoundly sleep deprived most of the time.
1:20:35🔗CallerYeah. I was thinking I had something to do with the insomnia.
1:20:38🔗DrewYeah. So you need this all checked out to see if it can be treated.
1:20:41🔗CallerNow, once in a while when I just really need to sleep and it just bothered me, I take this stuff that you can buy over the counter called Simply Sleep. I don't know if you heard of it.
1:21:27🔗AdamHey, Drew, let me ask you. Sometimes I'll pop three of those things, try to give myself a little kick, and it ends up working the other way around.
1:21:53🔗AdamBut what I mean is if one gets you a little bit drowsy and two makes you a little more tired, then why doesn't three really knock you down?
1:22:02🔗DrewBecause that's when it stops. That's as tired as you're going to get from that medicine.
1:22:07🔗DrewYou start getting, I'm sorry you don't dig medicines that when you take more you don't get a larger effect. There are some medicines that you can get large and larger effects, but the dose at which you have lethality, death, doesn't change.
1:22:22🔗AdamSo you mean there's no difference between 3 and 13 or something like that with some?
1:22:26🔗DrewI can describe that to you. The point being that you could easily, you could keep on going and you could need more and more to get more effect with time, but the lethal dose doesn't become, doesn't start going up with.
1:22:36🔗AdamSo your body builds a tolerance up to it, but it still will kill you at 10.
1:23:01🔗AdamLet's get one of those Zephyr lines put into hell, so I can keep doing the show. Where's Adam? He's in hell. He's doing the show, Dr. Drew, yeah, I'm down here.
1:23:21🔗CallerAll right, I've been with my girlfriend for four months now. And last week I found out that she's bisexual. And now she tells me that she wants to bring in a third person, which is a girl, into the relationship. Not exactly the intercourse, but the relationship.
1:23:35🔗DrewYeah, she's telling you she was done with the relationship is what she's telling you.
1:23:38🔗AdamWhat do you mean, into the relationship?
1:23:40🔗CallerWell, because we never had actual intercourse, she means like as in like three people relationship. I don't really understand.
1:23:47🔗Cypress HillShe's kicking you out slowly but surely.
1:23:50🔗DrewIf she isn't overtly kicking you out, she's at least creating enough sabotage and chaos to push you out.
1:23:55🔗CallerYeah, because when I listen to your show and whenever a person, whenever you say whenever three people have a threesome and a couple lets in another person, usually the relationship between the two is over.
1:24:06🔗DrewYou bet. Well, not over but it just doesn't survive. All right.
1:24:10🔗AdamBut John, you got to figure out a way to have sex with both of them before this thing ends.
1:25:09🔗AdamThe drought that's about to befall your penis. Yeah. You know it's over, right John? Yeah. This is chaotic and this whole thing about she wants to have the third girl come into the relationship, but not into the bedroom.
1:25:22🔗CallerWell, that's just to instigate trouble.
1:25:39🔗AdamA lot of guys. We have a lot of guys calling the show. It's like, yeah, my girlfriend stopped talking to me. It's like, your girlfriend, you ever have sex with her? No. You ever make out with her? No. You ever go out with her? Once. Once last time, sorry, nine months ago. You sure she's your girlfriend? Yeah.
1:26:08🔗CallerYeah. I was wondering if GHB had any long-term effects.
1:26:11🔗DrewWe don't really know yet. I've certainly seen lots of problems with GHB. In fact, I've treated a number of Major League Baseball players. They've got a problem with Major League Baseball right now with GHB, and it certainly induces a manic depression, depressive-like syndrome, where people are completely out of it, very laid-back, very impulsive, very grandiose usually. What are they taking it for? I can't tell. I think they take it to sort of boost the growth hormone, which it does initially, and it gives them sort of a stimulant and euphoric effect. So it seems they perceive their enhanced performance.
1:27:06🔗AdamI mean, what I mean is with GHB, I've heard that you take a teaspoon or whatever and you're right, but you take a tablespoon and you could have a seizure or something.
1:27:18🔗DrewIt's very difficult to dose GHB. The therapeutic distance between intoxication and death is tiny in some cases.
1:27:27🔗DrewAnd Maria, the cases I've treated, I've treated a number of these people, they're not right for a long time afterwards, like months, they are not themselves.
1:27:35🔗CallerBecause I didn't take that much, but I didn't know what it was when I took it.
1:27:38🔗DrewWell, single exposure is probably not going to do anything.
1:27:55🔗CallerAnd then I went and told him, you know, go ahead and give it to me. And then he just told me, you know, just to take, like, you know those Pepsi bottles? I think they're like 32 ounces or something. Like the cap on that, that's how much I took.
1:28:21🔗AdamBut then if it's sedating, why are the baseball players taking it?
1:28:23🔗DrewBecause some people get a euphoric buzz from it, but the addicts, people with addictive chemistry tend to get a much more euphoric response to it.
1:28:31🔗AdamAlright, should I try some of this stuff or are you just going to give me those sleeping pills we're talking about?
1:28:55🔗AdamHey, you know, I like to knock myself out a little bit.
1:28:58🔗DrewThe glass of red wine you've been recommending for the last year isn't working anymore?
1:29:02🔗AdamNo, it's alright. I think I gotta just up the dose a little.
1:29:05🔗DrewOh, I see. Imagine how that happens. There's going to be four glasses of wine to go to sleep.
1:29:09🔗AdamWell, or just one huge tumbler of red wine. Alright, we'll take ourselves a little break. I've discovered the medicinal uses for red wine when I get home.
1:30:10🔗AdamIt's Loveline, Adam Carolla, it's Dr. Drew over there. Be Real is here tonight from Cypress Hill. The Dragon Festival is going on this Saturday at 2 o'clock in San Bernardino at the Orange Festival Show grounds.
1:30:32🔗AdamAnd this is the same place they have to smoke out. Yeah, each year. So for those of you who went to that, I'm guessing there's going to be a line of repeat customers who went to the smoke out or go to the smoke out every year and want to go to the Dragon Festival. It is the same place.
1:30:48🔗Cypress HillIt's the same place. It's going to be really good. I think that the lineup we have here, it's not as big of a lineup as the smoke out. Obviously, we have more acts on that day, but this is a more compact bill and I think it's going to be really good.
1:31:06🔗AdamHow many people you figure this venue will hold, this indoor venue?
1:31:29🔗Cypress HillBut, you know, on another note, we are doing this 420 Harvest Dr. Green Thumb Party or whatever we're calling it, April 20th at the Shrine. It's going to be good.
1:31:42🔗AdamThe Shrine is a cool old place if anyone hasn't been there. And it seems like the upper balcony is going to fall down every time the party gets started over there. Drew, remember we were standing on stage and?
1:32:16🔗AdamYeah, the thing does shake, but I imagine it's been all earthquake rehabbed and all that stuff. So that's coming up April 20th.
1:32:23🔗Cypress HillYeah, April 20th. It's going to be a bunch of pro-marijuana activist groups, I guess you can call them Long Beach Dub All Stars, Cottonmouth Kings, Soulfly, Ourselves, Cypress Hill.
1:32:34🔗AdamJust follow the trail of bong water to the venue. If they want to go online and find out about all of this stuff, what is the best place to go?
1:32:45🔗Cypress HillThey can either go on to the Smokeout website at www.smokeout.net or the Dragon Festival, which is www.dragonfestival.net. They can find out all the information on that. As a matter of fact, for that 420 thing, the band that I'm working on, Cush, is what it's called, The Sad Project, we'll be playing that. That'll be our first show ever.
1:33:10🔗AdamOh, good. All right. So, and maybe we'll go out, or at least I'll go to that one.
1:33:24🔗CallerNothing, how are you guys doing? Good. I want to know about How I Could Just Kill A Man, the lyrical content of the song. I just, I read something tonight that it was, there was a little debate about whether or not it was just political or whether or not it was actually based on an experience that B-Real had with his family.
1:33:41🔗Cypress HillIt was based off of an experience I had. I lived in Gardena, I think, in, I believe it was 89 or 90, somewhere around that time, and this dude broke in our home and he held my mother and my niece at Knife Point, tied me and my sister up and he, actually he was trying to rob a drug dealer who lived right across from us and he robbed the wrong apartment and he came into our house.
1:34:18🔗Cypress HillWell, it was like at 4 in the morning and he broke this window like that, that you can just stick right, you know how you have those windows by the front door where you know you have the little thing and it opens like a bunch of them.
1:34:32🔗Cypress HillIt's louvered. He, he, he somehow opened it, got the door open and he got into my room first and he jumped on the back of me and I thought it's maybe one of my friends clowning around because I'm not really realizing what time it is.
1:34:45🔗AdamYeah, you're stoned off your ass and you're asleep.
1:34:47🔗Cypress HillYeah, so I'm like get, get off me man, what are you doing? And then he put the knife to my throat and he says don't move or your mom and your sister and your niece are done. So, you know, I had to comply and you know he tied me up and I heard my mother screaming for me.
1:35:12🔗Cypress HillAnd I could hear my mother screaming and somehow my sister jumped, like she got loose because she, the guy was kind of nervous you could tell. And he was, he didn't tie her up as well. And somehow she got out, jumped out the window of a two-story apartment. Wow. Called the cops and they were waiting for him by the time, you know, he finished the place. Yeah. Because my mother was fighting him off.
1:35:35🔗AdamAnd does, this was, it was at the apartment next year's that?
1:35:40🔗Cypress HillYeah. The guy, the guy was so like jacked up. He went into the wrong apartment. He was asking for this, somebody named Pebbles or something like that. And he came into the wrong apartment. And he was looking for the one across. Right. And, you know, he just came into the wrong place.
1:35:56🔗AdamOh, man. That must have freaked you out.
1:35:58🔗Cypress HillIt did. I mean, it made me angry. I mean, I spent a lot of time looking for that guy in the, in the, in the institutional system because, you know, I had a lot of friends and everything. But fortunately, you know, I came to my senses and I just let it, let it, let it slide. And, you know, those are the things that I write about because of those experiences, man. They scar your brain and yeah, that was one thing, one way to get it out of my system, you know?
1:36:24🔗AdamYeah, I mean, I mean, that's the kind of thing you can have, like, post-traumatic stress. So you should, you should. You're asleep with some guys on your back. I mean, it's probably good that you thought it was one of your friends. Oh, yeah. At least initially.
1:36:36🔗Cypress HillYeah, I mean, it was, it was, it was pretty messed up for a while on me. But, you know, I've been through so many crazy things that that was just one adding to many, you know?
1:36:46🔗AdamWell, for those of you who aren't from the Southern California area, Gardena should not have the word garden in it. Yeah. I worked at a, I used to work at a decorative box factory in Gardena. I rebuilt it during my construction days and I should have killed myself. I wish I would have jumped on me and killed me back then. But that, I hated that thinking Gardena. You don't still, no one lives there anymore, do they?
1:37:13🔗Cypress HillI mean, I had a lot of good friends out there, but once that happened, I moved my family out there real quick.
1:37:19🔗AdamThat's a dicey area. All right, we'll take ourselves a little break. We'll be back with more Be Real after this. Well, that is it. Just talking to B-Real about the bad old days.
1:38:16🔗AdamYeah, but let me just say this real fast. Unlike some child actor or something, you can really enjoy what you have now, right? Because you have something to compare it to.
1:38:27🔗Cypress HillYeah, for sure. I mean, when you come from nothing and you work that hard to get something, and you have it, it means more to you. You don't want to lose it, so you work harder to keep it. Right. I've never been a person to get complacent about anything or be satisfied. I'm always trying to keep moving forward with things.
1:38:44🔗AdamThat's what we like about Be Real in Cypress Hill and come back anytime, say hi.
1:38:49🔗Cypress HillThere's not too many stoners like that either, man.
1:39:08🔗AdamAgain, this Saturday, everybody, at the National Orange Show in San Bernardino, 2 o'clock. Go out there and support all our friends. Jeremy McGrath in here tomorrow night and until next time, Dr. Drew San Pro, Dr. Drew San, Mahalo. This has been Loveline.
