You're going to have to kind of let yourself go a little bit. I mean, you're going to have to throw yourself on the mercy of a therapist or a psychiatrist or a counseling group. You're going to have to give in. I mean, you can't keep that chip on your shoulder.

11:24 Cypress Hill And it's not only that so much, but, like, I get to the point, like, right now, I'm to the point where I want to just not make an attempt to make it a permanent thing.

11:44 Drew And that wasn't the permanent attempt?

11:46 Cypress Hill That didn't work because somebody had got me right after I had got that.

11:49 Drew You understand what Adam is saying, is that what was your intention before if it wasn't?

11:53 Adam How do you ingest 576 Vicodin? Wait a minute, how do you get hold of 576 Vicodin?

11:59 Cypress Hill I was on Vicodin because I had broken my wrist and my ankle at the same time and I just saved them up and I never used them because I have a really high pain tolerance.

12:08 Cypress Hill Yeah, I downed them as many as I could, as fast as I could. People keep walking in on me when I do it and I keep calling on the hospital and I keep getting rushed to the hospital all the time.

I've been traveling all over the country for the last two years because I had been in the Army and I had gotten out of that because they had had a medical procedure done on me, a spinal tap or a lumbar puncture, however you want to pronounce it, done to me. And it didn't go right. And they had an Army nurse that was just learning how to do this stuff, do it, and it screwed up my back. So I have a screwed up back. And I have been playing music for like five years, trying to get noticed that nobody notices.

13:29 Adam Yeah. Well, listen, nobody notices. Hold on a second. Nobody notices you're 20. For Christ's sake. I was just driving over here thinking about how I never made a nickel until I was 31. We hung out together. They made things easy for us, and they didn't really have to. And we didn't really have to be on the tour, which was the same thing with The Offspring. We didn't really have to go with them. They asked us to come on, and, you know, we thought it might be cool. Then during what, halfway through the tour? No, not even that.

18:52 Cypress Hill First night, we were having problems, and then they eventually cut our sound checks down, and their crew was like power tripping on us.

And so, you know, I sort of shut up about it through the whole tour and maintain professionalism. You know what I mean? Because I'm not going to complain and I'm not going to jump off a tour and break my contract and leave them hanging in spite of, you know, maybe the little things going on. So at the end of the tour, I wrote a story in our in our webs on our website because we do a thing called Soldier Stories. And I basically I told the truth, you know, I basically spit the truth out there to our fans. Let them know how we felt about the tour and how we got treated. And I guess he read it. So I seen him at this ESPN thing not too long ago. And I go to shake their hand just, you know, because I thought they were OK, guys. I just thought the thing, the tour could have been handled a little different. So I approached one of them. I approached Noodle, shook his hand, and he was cool. You know, he shook my hand. And I went to shake Dexter's hand and he pulled his hand away and he wouldn't say nothing to me, not even given me a reason. I already knew the reason.

20:11 Cypress Hill But I mean, at least say, hey, man, I don't like what you wrote in your story. I think that was messed up. I don't want to shake your hand. I would have took that like, okay, that's, you know, he's a man.

20:25 Cypress Hill This was just like a week ago. So then, you know, I said, oh, okay, that's cool. And then I saw him later on in the night and I laughed in his face. And then I saw him again later and I shook Noodle's hand again. I said, hey, look, you know, me and you, we don't have any problems in spite of whatever, whatever has been said and whatever his problem is. And I know he read your tour journal, man. And, you know, he's tripping on that. And I said, well, you know, me and you are cool. And as I was walking away, I yelled over to him, I hope you liked what I wrote in my journal.

53:42 Cypress Hill Well, what happened is a while back a friend of her said, hey, why don't you try marijuana? It works for my migraines. And she tried it and it works. Completely goes away in five minutes. And I'm pretty anti-drug, I want nothing to do with it. But of course I'm not a doctor, I'm an engineer. So I was wondering what your take was.

54:09 Cypress Hill I can sort of speak on that, because my mother had these things called cluster headaches, and what they tried to remedy her with was with oxygen. And what that would do is it would slowly bring the headache down, but it didn't do anything to stimulate her appetite or anything like that. And one day I just said, here, this thing ain't really working, try this. I mean, I don't know if it's going to work, but maybe it'll, you know, at least get your appetite up there. And she started to smoke it, and it would relieve her a little bit, a little at a time. And after she'd get hungry and it, you know, it'd help her out with her other therapy and stuff like that. So it worked for her because she doesn't use the oxygen anymore, and she doesn't get the headaches anymore.
